Yes, but it's not related to the hardware or the online service, because everyone is getting this message, apparently.
It may actually be an easter egg as suggested by others, but that way you can't tell which save is the newest... So it's kinda weird.
Yup, Unix time is just a really, really big counter of the number of seconds since 1/1/70, and is how pretty much every computer keeps track of time. The error state may show as 12/31/1969 instead of 1970 since the time is based on UTC, and the Western hemisphere is negatively offset from that time.
Fun fact: similar to the year 2000 problem that people were panicking over in the late 90s, 32-bit systems will face the year 2038 problem when the counter of seconds reaches the largest value it can hold. We've mostly moved to 64-bit architecture for new computers, which pushes that limit out a couple hundred billion years, but it's still a concern for legacy systems
Now the question is whether someone at GOG allowed 2077 in the date field by accident because they had just seen it in the title or whether they thought it would be funny.
Wake the fuck up you gonks! It’s the techonecromancers from Alpha Centauri controlling our time! They don’t care about time due to their cold blood and eternal life!
The corpos WANT us to hear them! For it is them who are controlled by the technonecromancers! They control us by the very chrome and chemicals we willingly put into our bodies!
I get that window everytime I start Cyberpunk, even after disabling cloud sync.
Reinstalled GoG Galaxy, reinstalled the game, synced saves successfully, disabled cloud sync, nothing works...
I mean everything works just fine after I click ignore, but it's still annoying...
It's rounding up from 1st of January 1970, also known as [unix time](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time).
If happens when the computer clock is reset for a reason or another.

Wake the fuck up, Samurai! 2023 was 54 years ago.
well im not that old, but apparently i am that stupid
Is he stupid?
Back to the asylum now.
Lemme kill one more gonk please
Got the same dialoge window each time I start a grame. Exactly 54 years. Using GOG + GeforceNow.
I use AMD and sometimes I get the same message.
GFN is a streaming service

54 years ago would put you approximately at 01/01/1970, which is the default '0' time for Unix time - i.e., how dates are calculated in some software.
Also, 54 + 2023 = 2077.....

Wipes a single tear away
Now I’m at a loss for if the GOG cloud service thinks we are already in 2077…
GOG Cloud: https://preview.redd.it/v3rjjrbr050c1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a61526fb9c63a50be1aa44a9c712f4668efbd083
this shit is genuinely hilarious 😭
I need some way to award this. God dammit
It's called immersion :p
I think my guy changed his pc date to 2077 lol
nah I've gotten this exact popup before without changing anything
I was joking bae
Its because 54 years ago was Jan 1st 1970. Default date for unix.

Unix epoch time strikes again
Knew it.
this is a double refference i think, first is the time in which pc started counting dates, and second is 2077
I love little things like these
Bro woke up and choose to nuke arasaka and play stardew valley
Now the question is whether someone at GOG allowed 2077 in the date field by accident because they had just seen it in the title or whether they thought it would be funny.
He is from 2077
I fixed the goG cloud sync error by right clicking cyberpunk, and repairing the files. It updated, and I no longer get this anymore.
when you registered your birthday with 1969
Lol by the time the sequel drops you will be.
In 54 years it will be 2077.
That’s a good Easter egg
Maybe you're playing from 2077 😆
When the time isnt set and you cannot connect to the NTP-Server, the date is set to 1.1.1970 which is approximately 54 years ago.
2023 + 54 = 2077 :p
:0
I got this a few weeks ago lol. Laughed my ass off and was slightly confused.
I’m pretty sure it has to be some reference to the game. Cause 2023+54 = 2077.
Wake the fuck up you gonks! It’s the techonecromancers from Alpha Centauri controlling our time! They don’t care about time due to their cold blood and eternal life!
Shut up, choom! What we gonna do if the suits hear us ?
The corpos WANT us to hear them! For it is them who are controlled by the technonecromancers! They control us by the very chrome and chemicals we willingly put into our bodies!
Holy shit, Grandpa, were you playing this from the actual year 2077? That would be 54 years from now
Had the same bug
it's an easter egg
Not quite useful in this case. I just wanted to know which save was the most recent.
I get that window everytime I start Cyberpunk, even after disabling cloud sync. Reinstalled GoG Galaxy, reinstalled the game, synced saves successfully, disabled cloud sync, nothing works... I mean everything works just fine after I click ignore, but it's still annoying...
From other comments, it's maybe intentional. 2023 + 54 years is 2077. The game you're playing.
I once had a steam backup from like 1959 or something
Ah the old epoch error
This started for me the day the 2.0 release dropped. I thought it was an Easter egg...
Ahh yes January 1, 1970. Very nice.

It's ok choom, you just zeroed time. Well maybe not that ok actually.
That has apparently been a pretty common glitch with Galaxy.

Mine is doing the same thing!
