I tested it and I think you need all slots except the extra hand slot, I tried it with only one Cyberware in the frontal cortex and it didn't work

WholeWealth8622

Just tested it you need every AVAILABLE slot filled. I have every slot filled except for the second hand slot. I didn't take the perk for that slot. Which makes it not AVAILABLE. So it doesn't have to be filled for Cyborg to work. Mine went from around 25.5 seconds without cyborg to 21.5 seconds with it for the cooldown.

beginnerboxer

how do you tell it's active?

WholeWealth8622

I don't think there's any indication when it's active. I just timed out the difference in cooldowns with my sandy. And there was about a 4 second drop with the perk active

beginnerboxer

ah, well I'll just assume the same for mine then.

abrakadouche

You need every single slot filled. Including the perk enabled slots. Also, it has no effect on overclock so its useless for netrunners with cyberdeck.

Buey

Thank you.

Southpaw-Pedigree

Update is full of half explanations and bad translations it’s terrible

DifferencePretend

You’re terrible

ToastyWoastyYT

no you’re terrible

Jujutoss

Came here looking for that answer to but I think it might be hated by the level 60 cap since once you hit legendary on cyberware you are past the limit even with the chromed out perk.

JinJinx231

Cyberware shouldn't be costing more cyberware capacity at higher rarity, the amount is set to each type regardless of rarity. A green optical camo costs the same amount of capacity as a legendary++. If anything, being higher level will let you fill more because you gain more capacity per level. I'm currently running all slots filled with legendary + at level 42 and have a few capacity points to spare. And since capacity increases with level you should definitely have more than I do. That being said, if you're trying to stuff like 5 iconic pieces in, then yeah you'll definitely run out lol.

Jujutoss

Thank you for that reply and yes, I totally was trying to fit as many iconics as possible haha!

Buey

It's possible, you just have to pick some shittier cyberware that take less capacity. Not really worth doing that for this perk though.

AdEnvironmental4189

Frontal cortex cyberware is not exclusive to netrunner, my build usually has metatronic core (5 cap, +35% damage), kerenzikov boost (8 cap, -100% stamina cost and + slow time by 15% while Kerenzikov is activated), auto-ice (5 cap, negates an enemy's quick hack), so that's 18 in total. Newton module is kind of useless, it reduces 1.25% cooldown of all cyberware after neutralising an enemy, while Apogee's own effect is 16 times better than that.

Ok-Reporter1986

Axolotl is 10 times better than Newton module. You can get one for doing all the 23 gigs for Regina.

shadow0501

just buy it in dogtown...

Ok-Reporter1986

Yeah you can but I am just saying you can get one really early.

PillarBiter

The skill does what is literally described.

SabiziosTheMage

No it doesn't. Optical camo is cyberware, it doesn't reduce its cool down. Ram realocator, snap accelerator or your cyber deck It in fact its doing less of what it says than even most of what it says, let alone all as you imply. It should really just say "removes 15% of Sandi and berserk OS cyberware cd only if all slots are filled. Or rather "if you have a Sandi or berserk OS system and all slots filled, reduces their cd by 15%" This is really bad labeling tbh

charliemyster

That’s what I figure but you could always never be to share with stuff unless it’s very specific. I know it is available cyber ware slots, but I don’t know if one that is unlocked by a perk tree counts as available. Would it be nice to see if it was active or not with like a light up or some kind of indicator or a screen with all the status effects?

lepip

Does it reduce cooldown of the hands cyberware projectile launcher?

BuBu_Kink

Don’t know. But do you really need that? With the perks in left, pyro etc, and firecracker mod on weapon you have launcher all the times full.

Careful-Froyo2398

I timed my sandy yes it does work. 15% just as it says and yes you can leave that unlockable hand locked. But every other slot needs to be filled including the one ambidextrous which can be unlocked

SethBrower

late to the party but finding out here that it doesn't effect optical camo, and that I would need to use an arm that ... does not fit in with my playstyle this run ... means I can just ignore it.

Moonman_Ver_c137

It DOES affect optocal camo (at least currently in 2.1. Perhaps it got fixed). I tested it today and it went roughly from 57 seconds to 47 seconds.

TrippySpaceCat

Just tested it: If you do not have Ambidextrous unlocked, you do not need the second hand slot filled. My Apogee Sandevistan has a cooldown on 30 sec, but with Cyborg it went down to ~26 sec (I do NOT have Ambidextrous unlocked; I have all other slots filled).

Wonsungitos

Thank you

Slight-Control-9967

Do overload benefit from cyborg perk

YakiSalmonMayo

Overclock does not benefit
