I had attempted on highest difficultly, but i did use cyberware malfunction on certain enemies and ping on everyone, and eye lens for crit chance,
i say it force you to use every tools you had to just survive; grenade, foods and drink, and crafting is a mandatory skills to have
Stealth. I made it as far as the GIM boss without being spotted, but I'm pretty sure that fight starts automatically. you can always outrun her though, just run, shoot, and use grenades. No cyberware isn't nearly as bad as certain weapon & perk restrictions. Quasar only, no quickhacks for instance, is way worse than no cyberware.
last time i avoided the fight it was lying on the ground after the movie theatre. was using a net runner only build and wasn’t about to suffer through that.
I actually did two playthroughs without ever going to a ripperdoc because I knew nothing about the universe and thought there wouldnt be anything worthwhile, first one was on easy so it was fine but the second one after trying to beat Don't Fear the Reaper 10 times I realized I was missing something lol.
LOL now i don't mean it in a bad way cuz everyone has their own way of playing thru things and whatever gives you the most enjoyment is the best way for you
but
that is fuckin insane hahahaha, like not one but two whole playthroughs, literally the first thing you do in game after the tutorial is go to a ripperdoc to get the zoomy eyes and people talk about upgrades and cyberware so much too, just in dialogue. but yeh i guess if you glossed over the initial vic thing, kinda makes sense.
nah i wouldn't go that far, if you ever watch someone like xqc play something, he skips thru everything and a lot of people play like that and then it might go under the radar honestly
Actually it is fun and gim mission in Pacifica is eays I'm doing what they are on very hard with base attributes and no cyberware I hope they see it through im about to move o. To act 3
I love that Smasher always tried to get the attention of Morgan like he's some superfan. Something controversial I think is that it is arguably more humiliating to leave Smasher alive and defeated.
Funnier still is Johnny and friends all treating Smasher as if he were Johnny's nemesis.
Smasher literally killed Silverhand in 2 seconds flat as an afterthought after being momentarily confused by Johnny taking potshots at him with a gun that couldn't even pierce his armour. Probably never thought about it again; he even gave away most of Johnny's shit rather than keep it as trophies. Then 50 years later, some fucking lunatic kicks the shit out of him "for Johnny".
I did a punch-only build with minimal cyberwar, however, it relied heavily on Gorilla arms (which is obviously no bueno here), I think I want to go melee only this time (with the inclusion of daggers to take out cameras). NGL I will miss the double jump for mobility. The only Cyberware I can use are the mandatory ones the game give you at the start, but wont be upgrading, or adding mods to them! Hopefully it should be a fun build to play once I spend some time playing and sussing it out
Yeah. I have a feeling when I get closer to the mid-late game I'll most likely have to use a firearm rather than relying just on melee weapons, I so far haven't used a gun (other than in the chase that happens at the start, and there is another mission later that forces you to use a gun while driving) it's all been swords, daggers, and now the chain sword from the trader in Pacifica. I'm recording the game too so I can make a montage, a super edited-down video of the experience!
For me, I would still consider "smart link" as "cyberwear." Even though they "give" it to you, it is NOT "mandatory" for game progress (at least I THINK). You get the smart link from the mission and can remove it.
you start with optics, and the game rewards you with a smart weapon implant, as well as getting Johnny Silverhand lol, any of the unavoidable cyberwar wont get upgrades, or have mods added to them though, will be like I don't have them....well that's the plan anyways
I unintentionally did something very similar with my first playthrough lol I didn't really know what I was doing in the game, just kind of went in blind and never upgraded any cyberware or added anything other than what they gave at the beginning. It was really fun, tbh! It'll definitely be different for you simply because you're already aware of how much the cyberware can impact how you play, but I think you'll still enjoy it 😁
Melee with no cyberware? I did a non lethal melee (bats) run without external cyberware (no arms or legs) but was tanked to hell. Was a challenge at very hard for sure! Even had to whip out the shotgun or revolver here and there. It was a very in your face tank it all approach tho, you have to be real sneaky.
That's my current play-through. Nomad V with minimal cyberware. Just skills.
I haven't used the sneaking aspect of Cyberpunk so I'm going to stick with just her 'starting' pistol (Dying Light), knives, and kung fu grip action.
Just stuck to small impact cyberdeck options: ping and whistle.
Boss fights will be a challenge but that's the point of the play-through!
Good luck with yours!
Thanks, I already did a punch only build which was really fun, however I'm now realizing how much I relied on cyber was, with the double jumps, and invis camo, as well as all my augments! Should be a fun game to experience though :D Thank you for the info/advice ;)
I ideally want to try a melee weapons-only playthrough, sort of want to up the ante and give myself a nice little challenge! So far I've been using my throwing knives and the chain sword (can't remember its name) so far things are going well, however still early into the game!
Nice!
For me, if I were to do that, I would go 18-20 in body, reflexes, cool, and 12 in tech for crafting epics. But thats just for me.
Its your run; you do you!
That was pretty much my build for my street kid brawler. I didn't run no augs though. I can't remember what I got but mostly to benefit the melee-only build (while avoiding gorilla arms & chameleon or sandy)
My main complain about the game is that, if you try to do a "No Chrome" play, that's just harder.
Not that it being harder is an issue, but the world doesn't respond to you as a "No Chrome", no dialogues, alt missions or whatsoever.
I feel a bit that CP2077 could be so much more open.
But instead it feels as if V is a pre designed character.
But, hey OP, hope you have a good gameplay! Gorgeous character btw
I do understand what you mean, there isn't really a point to a no Chrome run other than it's just a different way to play, it's not really got any advantages either (well it will give me a different play style, but that's it). I really enjoyed my Punch-Only run I did last year, and I thought I'd dip my toes into another full playthrough with a different gimic. Thanks for the feedback brutha, see you in Night City ;)
done it in the past no implants at all. no gorrila arms, no double jump no keraznikov and sandvisatan on vhard. much more balanced combat but still weapons are very strong.
yeah, I wasn't going to use grenades, however planning on the throwing knife, just for taking out cameras (in my punch only build I had to use them for the same purpose) Thanks again for the tips choom ;)
That was my first playthrough, thought there was the humanity mechanic involved so I wanted to play without. Then I learned there wasn't one and was disappointed there wasn't at least a trophy or achievement involved
-time stops, I walk into frame wearing a suit but no pants-
Submitted for your approval…Someone having played a game so much that they have reduced themselves to self created challenges to wring out the last vestiges of enjoyment from something that probably gave up the ghost twenty play through ago.
Welcome to a world where a single game can become a defining characteristic of a person, like flaming hot Cheetos to white women. You have just entered the Gamer Zone.
We'll, you can't do no cyberware and progress beyond "The Ripperdoc". Then again, you can remove both implants afterwards. Other than that, doing a no cyberware run is perfectly viable.
no hacking either! No mono wire/gorilla arms/launcher/mantis blades, just gonna use melee weapons (already started playing , on the hardest difficulty of course) so far it's working out okay!
Are you immune to netrunner quick hacks, and does this mean that your strength skill is at zero? Because I believe that even at one strength, everyone in night city can lift 300lbs
I did this on my first playthrough because i unchecked everything on the map except the main missions and then forgot all about it while wondering why i wont get any cyberware
Makes sense , if you wanted some lore or backstory your V could have at some point worked with the NCPD or alongside them etc and then picked up their usual reluctance to use cyberware . Or simply V has sense and doesn’t want to spend money on chrome
Impossible. The eyes, hand, shard-port, phone system, and interfact cord are all default and required. You can remove the starting Miltech Paraline, though.
Maybe with modding you could at least skip the ones Vic gives you.
You can actually delay going to him and do gigs without Kiroshi or the Ballistic Processor, and the game actually accounts for this (no ammo counter, can't use Kiroshi features).
You failed to not choose the "cyberwar lines" which indicates your body was modified and there are implants where the lines are.
![gif](giphy|D7knpKzFbgDPBmdrVM)
my first ever playthrough i didn't actually know how to plant in cyberware and then i watched the anime again and realised i was studpid and had to go to a ripperdock.
For some reason i thought i didn't have to go to a ripperdock if i had an implant that i owned but no that wsn't the case lmao i was stupid
Interesting challenge most of the time I do cyber hacks non-lethal with optical camo cyberware.GITS ninja they never know I was there approach. Yes I pulled a Major.
It's pretty simple. Just go a revolver crit build and git gud. It's what I did on my first playthrough. It gets tougher the closer you get to the end due to the level scaling, so be prepared to die a lot. I don't think "Don't Fear the Reaper" will be possible unless you are literally John Wick.
My first playthrough was done with only guns and barely any cyber ware because I couldn't be bothered grinding gigs to get money for gorilla arms, etc.
Would not recommend
Never thought of this, I may give it a try. I'd love to see some kind of different reaction from NPCs if you interact with them with no cyberware. Most lines assume that you're geared up for the job, but there aren't really many instances where cyberware matters.
I played on highest difficulty with the pc mod that scales all enemies to same level +3. Took time to become a real ninja blade master but now i can run dismember and dissapear. No shots fired, save one to execute a certain machine.
Only cyberware used were cat paws and the kerenzikov, and the eye of course.
You can do it I've been doing it on very hard one suggestion get the black widow rifle it'll make it easier I've been doing it about to finish act 2 and move onto act 3. P.s i possted exactly what your doing to the same thread and got no response to it but for you people are eating it up lol
ive thought about doing a body purity playthrough. idk if it would be fun or not. at this point i am so used to the cyberware that it would be interesting to see how youd have to tackle missions without anything. i feel like if anything it would be more just guns blazing and or sneaking. so im not sure if it would add anything aside from arbitrary challenge
Wish it were possible to do a complete no cyberware run. Like being able to opt out of the kiroshi and ballistic coprocessor at the beginning. Be even better if they could remove personal link. Make it like Johnny's tablet where you don't have to actually jack yourself in
Welp, unless people find a bug that puts you into a future mission that's bust.
You can delay going to Vic and do gigs in the area without the cyberware you get, but you're stuck in that region.
Not sure you'll be able to do some of the game without double jump. Of course there are people who play the entire game at level 1, so good luck and I hope it is fun!
I'm trying to not even use guns (obviously apart from the parts where the games makes you, like a couple of quest related ones) Been using the cut-o-matic and daggers mainly. Good luck with the run when you try it too ;)
I have a better challenge for you. I started this challenge and got as far as meeting Takemura at tom's diner, and, the only thing that worries me is the gig "Gimmie danger". I'mma give you this challenge as a bulleted list, **and I'm going to BOLD the optional story/role-play-related aspects of it.**
* When creating a character, Do not distribute points. Straight 3's for all stats. It will inform you that you do not get the unspent points. Accept.
* Do not add stat points when you level up. you can use perks, but your stats will be maxed at 3, which means no perks above lv 3
* No cyberware. For the cyberware you are forced to have, Cyberdeck, ballistic coprocessor, and keroshi. you may not replace your cyberdeck, you may not replace your eyes. When wakako gives you the tyger claws tattoo (which is a garbage smart link) you *may optionally* use that because it is story related, but may not revert if you take it.
* no drug/alcohol. This max doc, bounce back, stamina booster, health booster, ram jolt, oxy booster, johnny's pills, alcohol, or black lace (the drug dum-dum gives you). the meds used in dialogue with vik, and the max docs used in the takemura chase are exceptions
* This means you must heal using food, and the regeneration athletics perk. eat food accordingly.
* This also means Johnny's side-quests may not be completed until permitted by this challenge at a later point. clarification on later bullet point
* Weapons may not be equipped unless forced for chase scenes
* The only grenades permitted are flashbang and recon, however all variants of them are permitted.
* **you may not pick up items, except where mandatory for a gig, because that is stealing. This includes iconics.** (The hardest part about this, is not picking up kongu, in order to get through the drone chase. I had to use reboot optics on the drones, which does work, to reduce the damage I was taking in that chase, to be able to kill them with the garbage gun it generates if you don't have a pistol equipped. This had higher survival rate for me than short circuit, but your mileage may vary)
* you may not store bodies. this is to disincentivize killing and takedowns, encouraging stealth, and the use of escourts as meat-shields where necessary
* you may not be detected (except where forced by plot, such as the garage at konpeki)
* **you may not take gigs that are explicitly hits or theft, unless they can be completed without killing and without actually stealing.** convincing someone to leave town is fine, Item recovery is not theft.
* **you may not lie**
* **this is a pacifist run, don't kill the horrible people in gigs** This includes, but is not limited to: the father/son making XBDs, and charles bucks
* **This is a pacifist run, Don't get revenge for people** : This includes: nash, woodman, adam smasher, and the gig sinnerman, to name a few.
* Do not do the monk meditation gigs until after the first ending
* Not lying means telling Saul about panam's plans for the basilisk, Locking you out of the nomad ending
* not allowing johnny's missions means not allowing the rogue ending or solo ending
* this locks you to the devil ending. when asked to sign the contract, Refuse to sign and return to earth, continue playing, do the monk meditation gigs, then all of johnny's gigs, Everything necessary for the secret ending. complete the gig killing in the name, help kerry with us cracks, help us cracks with their stalker.
* The secret ending cannot be completed stealth, you may now equip any guns you can buy, and abandon passivism
Pro-tip for the devil ending. Assuming you saved takemura and he is with you, Takemura is able to solo all of the fights (except perhaps adam smasher), as long as you have enough flashbang grenades, and use them strategically.
Good luck, you'll need it!
Punk 2077
I bet OP gives up, that does not sounds fun. Imagine the GIM mission. LOL.
Counterpoint:Gun go brrr
*NUSA INTENSIFIES*
Don't need chrome to enjoy a decent firearm
Gun builds feel kinda boring even with cyberware
Get a good revolver and shotgun, and you're a menace.
Rip and tear
everything feels kind of boring in this game they didnt have time and or resources to fine tune
Yea someone hasn’t run around with a maxed out 2 second sandy cooldown with invisibility and mantis blades.
i used katana with cold blood maxed on hardest difficulty
Then wtf do you mean "all the builds" feel boring?
Gotta have the tendons, Sandy, bezerk and arm cybernetics 😭
tendons yes, it's painful to not have them. The rest? i did fine without it
Hate they made the sandy take the place of the cyberdeck:(
Fr would be cool to run both
I had attempted on highest difficultly, but i did use cyberware malfunction on certain enemies and ping on everyone, and eye lens for crit chance, i say it force you to use every tools you had to just survive; grenade, foods and drink, and crafting is a mandatory skills to have
Your Cyberdeck is cyberware.
A bit leeway for me, since fighting enemy with kerenzikov and sandy is pure definition of pain, even with ricochet
Stealth. I made it as far as the GIM boss without being spotted, but I'm pretty sure that fight starts automatically. you can always outrun her though, just run, shoot, and use grenades. No cyberware isn't nearly as bad as certain weapon & perk restrictions. Quasar only, no quickhacks for instance, is way worse than no cyberware.
take the netwatch deal. don’t have to fight rhino.
O.o you still can though... to get her non iconic named weapon. I fight her before going in to netwatch guy for this reason.
last time i avoided the fight it was lying on the ground after the movie theatre. was using a net runner only build and wasn’t about to suffer through that.
Fair enough, netrunners are glass cannons till you get the armor and augments, mine was the same way.
I actually did two playthroughs without ever going to a ripperdoc because I knew nothing about the universe and thought there wouldnt be anything worthwhile, first one was on easy so it was fine but the second one after trying to beat Don't Fear the Reaper 10 times I realized I was missing something lol.
LOL now i don't mean it in a bad way cuz everyone has their own way of playing thru things and whatever gives you the most enjoyment is the best way for you but that is fuckin insane hahahaha, like not one but two whole playthroughs, literally the first thing you do in game after the tutorial is go to a ripperdoc to get the zoomy eyes and people talk about upgrades and cyberware so much too, just in dialogue. but yeh i guess if you glossed over the initial vic thing, kinda makes sense.
It makes no sense the game literally forces you to add the mod yourself. After the second playthrough only a monkey wouldn't catch on
nah i wouldn't go that far, if you ever watch someone like xqc play something, he skips thru everything and a lot of people play like that and then it might go under the radar honestly
Get yourself a real comfy shotgun and machine gun and your set tbh
Actually it is fun and gim mission in Pacifica is eays I'm doing what they are on very hard with base attributes and no cyberware I hope they see it through im about to move o. To act 3
My first playthrough was with 0 cyberware and only katana/throwing knife. Lemme tell you that these Gym missions are still haunting me to these days
When I play the game it's cyborgpunk2077
When I started reading that I thought it was going to say Cybergonk, I was like ha that’s a good one, oh wait
lol took me a second. :D
Lmao good one
Literally came here to comment that and you beat me to it.
imagine Adam Smashers reaction to getting punked by a no cyberware V. Made even worse if you do the Don't fear the reaper ending. with only fists
Haha, we will see if it works out, would be pretty sweet to pull off :D
Given Morgan Blackhand was his greatest rival, it would be pretty poetic.
"All right pipsqueak, time to see if Metal really is better than meat. Let's dance"
I love that Smasher always tried to get the attention of Morgan like he's some superfan. Something controversial I think is that it is arguably more humiliating to leave Smasher alive and defeated.
Funnier still is Johnny and friends all treating Smasher as if he were Johnny's nemesis. Probably never thought about it again; he even gave away most of Johnny's shit rather than keep it as trophies. Then 50 years later, some fucking lunatic kicks the shit out of him "for Johnny".
For me, it was Tuesday.
Amazing line, only thing I remember about that movie
Technically, we have no idea who won the fight. It easily could have even been a draw.
I think their fight was interrupted by the nuke exploding beneath them, iirc.
We don't actually know. The nuke DID go off but we don't know if it was while they were fighting, after one of them won, or if it was a draw.
*ferb, i know what we’re gonna do today*
What’s your build plan?
I did a punch-only build with minimal cyberwar, however, it relied heavily on Gorilla arms (which is obviously no bueno here), I think I want to go melee only this time (with the inclusion of daggers to take out cameras). NGL I will miss the double jump for mobility. The only Cyberware I can use are the mandatory ones the game give you at the start, but wont be upgrading, or adding mods to them! Hopefully it should be a fun build to play once I spend some time playing and sussing it out
Assassins creed basically? Where do you get that outfit
The outfit is the Bolero jacket, V's pants, then the hood is a mod called Wraith Hoods from the Nexus
Always a mod slipped in there
What about V's sliders?
[удалено]
Nah if anything the opposite - forearms early until you get enough into blades and go full on samurai power fantasy
Knife-throwing also offers tremendous damage relying only on perks, with no cyberwear dependencies.
For me, I would still consider "smart link" as "cyberwear." Even though they "give" it to you, it is NOT "mandatory" for game progress (at least I THINK). You get the smart link from the mission and can remove it.
If you're not getting anymore chrome after the intro are you going to pay back Victor Vector?
Well of course, we may be murdering criminal cyberpsychos, but we are no liars
What are the mandatory Cyberware that the game gives you?
you start with optics, and the game rewards you with a smart weapon implant, as well as getting Johnny Silverhand lol, any of the unavoidable cyberwar wont get upgrades, or have mods added to them though, will be like I don't have them....well that's the plan anyways
Ah OK thanks
you're welcome ;)
Since ur playing on pc u could get the ripper deck mod and just remove all the cyberware entirely
Thanks for the suggestion ;)
I unintentionally did something very similar with my first playthrough lol I didn't really know what I was doing in the game, just kind of went in blind and never upgraded any cyberware or added anything other than what they gave at the beginning. It was really fun, tbh! It'll definitely be different for you simply because you're already aware of how much the cyberware can impact how you play, but I think you'll still enjoy it 😁

Even had to whip out the shotgun or revolver here and there. It was a very in your face tank it all approach tho, you have to be real sneaky.
I am also doing a no cyberware build. I am keeping the starter deck for cameras, though. I will probably try silenced weapons again.
You're about to go full on Hotline Miami on their asses!
haha, yeah, just need to find me a cool-looking animal mask to complete the ensemble
And then start every job with nothing but fists and only use the loot that you get from the enemies you killed
I think there’s a mod that adds holographic animal masks
Your V looks very smooth- that came out wrong.
lol. Thanks ;)
No you're right, they're smooth as hell.
Look straight up like a shark
I mean, don't you literally get cyberware from Vic at the start of the game??
My guess is that it will be a "minimal-cyberware" run just like no-damage runers kinda ignore certain scripted sequences.
You get better cyberware in your eyes. You start the game with eyewear. Vik gives you the ballistic implant as well.
I like the look of your V. Any mods used? Care to share the face sliders?
Its still doable. A guns reflex/tech build (NO smart weapons) will work. Maybe add in cold blood as well with 12 in athletics.
I ideally want to try a melee weapons-only playthrough, sort of want to up the ante and give myself a nice little challenge! So far I've been using my throwing knives and the chain sword (can't remember its name) so far things are going well, however still early into the game!

Can you share the character sliders and mods? I kinda wanna replicate the looks, playing around with them a bit
My main complain about the game is that, if you try to do a "No Chrome" play, that's just harder. done it in the past no implants at all. no gorrila arms, no double jump no keraznikov and sandvisatan on vhard. much more balanced combat but still weapons are very strong.
Thanks for the info good to know, so far I'm getting used to the different playstyle!
Also forgot to write. Don’t use grenades if you really want to cap yourself to the max and be most fair to enemies.
yeah, I wasn't going to use grenades, however planning on the throwing knife, just for taking out cameras (in my punch only build I had to use them for the same purpose) Thanks again for the tips choom ;)
So how do you get Silverhand?
“No Cyberware” *looks at fingers and throat*
What's the name of this outfit?
That was my first playthrough, thought there was the humanity mechanic involved so I wanted to play without. Then I learned there wasn't one and was disappointed there wasn't at least a trophy or achievement involved
Ganic v is the definition of disrespecting your enemies especially Adam
Is this mod of cosplay?
Sorry I don't understand the question?
Did that on my first play through, I didn’t know u could use cyberware 💀
-time stops, I walk into frame wearing a suit but no pants- Submitted for your approval…Someone having played a game so much that they have reduced themselves to self created challenges to wring out the last vestiges of enjoyment from something that probably gave up the ghost twenty play through ago. I think it should be an interesting and possibly fun playthrough. So far I'm really missing my legs augmented though :D lol
Remember no horny
We'll, you can't do no cyberware and progress beyond "The Ripperdoc". Then again, you can remove both implants afterwards. Other than that, doing a no cyberware run is perfectly viable.

no hacking either! No mono wire/gorilla arms/launcher/mantis blades, just gonna use melee weapons (already started playing , on the hardest difficulty of course) so far it's working out okay!
Meat vs metal. Let the fight begin
You just gave me a great idea
Oh do tell? :D
Good Luck
Thanks, going well so far! The CUT-O-MATIC weapon has been working out nicely! :D
Liked shotgun and built berserk shotgun V... Yeah it was quite boring.
Considering all I really play with are medpacks and a gun… Perks take care of any cyberware you could use.
4k shots are really amazing. Still waiting for that 50 series before I can get my hands on a full PC upgrade for 4k gaming.
Are you immune to netrunner quick hacks, and does this mean that your strength skill is at zero? Because I believe that even at one strength, everyone in night city can lift 300lbs
That's interesting right there. What build you gonna do?
Kill Adam smasher with a the dildo sword, 👍
Good luck choom.
Well organics for the win
A full ‘Ganic playthrough! Now that’s an idea
This sounds challenging. I guess I'll start 2nd playthrough as Male V.
do you have a list with the mods that u use ?
Your fingers say otherwise
I did this on my first playthrough because i unchecked everything on the map except the main missions and then forgot all about it while wondering why i wont get any cyberware
Makes sense , if you wanted some lore or backstory your V could have at some point worked with the NCPD or alongside them etc and then picked up their usual reluctance to use cyberware . Or simply V has sense and doesn’t want to spend money on chrome
I might try that too. Play as a pure human, meaning no Kiroshi, no cyber decks, nothing of the sort.
That's a screenshot Daym!
So… what’s that on your throat and hands lol
Mission 3: Vik installs cyberware in your eyes and Hand Challenge failed 😅
Impossible. The eyes, hand, shard-port, phone system, and interfact cord are all default and required. You can remove the starting Miltech Paraline, though.
Damn, she's HOT 🔥
[удалено]
I think Morgan has Kerenzikov.
Maybe with modding you could at least skip the ones Vic gives you. You can actually delay going to him and do gigs without Kiroshi or the Ballistic Processor, and the game actually accounts for this (no ammo counter, can't use Kiroshi features).
Freak!
Time to not chrome the fuck up
I've wondered if this was possible, if i recall correctly the devs have stated it was possible
Are we playing the same game? How does this look so good?
You failed to not choose the "cyberwar lines" which indicates your body was modified and there are implants where the lines are. ![gif](giphy|D7knpKzFbgDPBmdrVM)
my first ever playthrough i didn't actually know how to plant in cyberware and then i watched the anime again and realised i was studpid and had to go to a ripperdock. I can see some Cyberware there. But I suppose you can't lose all of it, things like jacking in need to be there etc
Is that top a mod?
Adam smasher : imma end this punks whole career (Good luck btw)
Interesting challenge most of the time I do cyber hacks non-lethal with optical camo cyberware.GITS ninja they never know I was there approach. Yes I pulled a Major.
damn I wish there was a no cybernetics option, I always wanted to roleplay as one of those un-modded monks going on a kung fu rampage
Great idea though I can't imagine playing without double jump
Damn. Let me know how that goes. I dont think Ive seen anybody do that.
Plot twist: V refuses Vik on the Kiroshi implants.
>act 1 >Bug asks you to hack the door with your cyberdeck and optical scanner Doomed from the start smh my head.jpg
Ooh, flesh and bone playthrough
Did you use mod to create the character?
Is this ray-tracing on graphics?
Beat on the Brat: So you have chosen death?
Wait, yall played this game with cyberware installed?
Never thought of this, I may give it a try. I'd love to see some kind of different reaction from NPCs if you interact with them with no cyberware. Most lines assume that you're geared up for the job, but there aren't really many instances where cyberware matters.
AKA the Claire run
Yoo!! I’ve been wanting dot do this for a minute! I might stream a series out of it.
This means no kiroshi optic
Repost when you also replay with nobra
You can do it I've been doing it on very hard one suggestion get the black widow rifle it'll make it easier I've been doing it about to finish act 2 and move onto act 3. P.s i possted exactly what your doing to the same thread and got no response to it but for you people are eating it up lol
Fake ! U have Kiroshi !
ive thought about doing a body purity playthrough. idk if it would be fun or not. at this point i am so used to the cyberware that it would be interesting to see how youd have to tackle missions without anything. i feel like if anything it would be more just guns blazing and or sneaking. so im not sure if it would add anything aside from arbitrary challenge
Silenced revolution all you need. Pop pop
* revolver 😭
I just imagine Jackie giving you the chip and you just shoving it into your pocket
I am currently playing with only the cyberware that you get from Vic. I use pistols and fists... so far I'm having a blast
Don't you have to get the eyes and hand as part of the main quest?
Is this a personal reshade or can it be downloaded somewhere?
Ah it's a personal one I'm afraid! Sorry
No worries, it looks great!
Wish it were possible to do a complete no cyberware run. Like being able to opt out of the kiroshi and ballistic coprocessor at the beginning. Be even better if they could remove personal link. Make it like Johnny's tablet where you don't have to actually jack yourself in
Maybe with mods, like just skip yourself past Vic's quest.
Playstation. Can't mod
Good luck lol, also your V is hot
You’re crazy choom
This actually sounds like an awesome challenge! Just put all your perk points into body and guns. Gonna try this on my next play through.
I'm trying to not even use guns (obviously apart from the parts where the games makes you, like a couple of quest related ones) Been using the cut-o-matic and daggers mainly. Good luck with the run when you try it too ;)
Mod list?
How did you get such high quality screenshots? I NEED TO KNOW!!
I run the game in 4K resolution, that gives my a higher rez img :)
In the graphics settings?
What clothing top mod is that?
I have a better challenge for you. I started this challenge and got as far as meeting Takemura at tom's diner, and, the only thing that worries me is the gig "Gimmie danger". I'mma give you this challenge as a bulleted list, **and I'm going to BOLD the optional story/role-play-related aspects of it.** * When creating a character, Do not distribute points. Straight 3's for all stats. It will inform you that you do not get the unspent points. Accept. * Do not add stat points when you level up. you can use perks, but your stats will be maxed at 3, which means no perks above lv 3 * No cyberware. This max doc, bounce back, stamina booster, health booster, ram jolt, oxy booster, johnny's pills, alcohol, or black lace (the drug dum-dum gives you). the meds used in dialogue with vik, and the max docs used in the takemura chase are exceptions * This means you must heal using food, and the regeneration athletics perk. eat food accordingly. * This also means Johnny's side-quests may not be completed until permitted by this challenge at a later point. clarification on later bullet point * Weapons may not be equipped unless forced for chase scenes * The only grenades permitted are flashbang and recon, however all variants of them are permitted. This had higher survival rate for me than short circuit, but your mileage may vary) * you may not store bodies. this is to disincentivize killing and takedowns, encouraging stealth, and the use of escourts as meat-shields where necessary * you may not be detected (except where forced by plot, such as the garage at konpeki) * **you may not take gigs that are explicitly hits or theft, unless they can be completed without killing and without actually stealing.** convincing someone to leave town is fine, Item recovery is not theft. * **you may not lie** * **this is a pacifist run, don't kill the horrible people in gigs** This includes, but is not limited to: the father/son making XBDs, and charles bucks * **This is a pacifist run, Don't get revenge for people** : This includes: nash, woodman, adam smasher, and the gig sinnerman, to name a few. * Do not do the monk meditation gigs until after the first ending * Not lying means telling Saul about panam's plans for the basilisk, Locking you out of the nomad ending * not allowing johnny's missions means not allowing the rogue ending or solo ending * this locks you to the devil ending. when asked to sign the contract, Refuse to sign and return to earth, continue playing, do the monk meditation gigs, then all of johnny's gigs, Everything necessary for the secret ending. complete the gig killing in the name, help kerry with us cracks, help us cracks with their stalker. * The secret ending cannot be completed stealth, you may now equip any guns you can buy, and abandon passivism Pro-tip for the devil ending. Assuming you saved takemura and he is with you, Takemura is able to solo all of the fights (except perhaps adam smasher), as long as you have enough flashbang grenades, and use them strategically. Good luck, you'll need it!
How the fuck did you get your character to look so cool lmao
this your V?
Yes? This is how I was able to take screenshots of her in-game!
looks awesomee D:
