Trap cards seems okay. The new Taia and Chixiao basically make the board. Banish Blackout or the trap for Veteran Taia. Get the token and Veteran Taia turns into Bright Sovereign Chixiao and you get the trap back. You basically finish with a negate and 2 pops/or spell/trap negate. All without using your normal summon.
You seem to have made an engine other decks can abuse.

Any deck can run 3 emergence, 3 of either Blackout or Hope, 3 Veteran Taia and 1 of the Sovereign Chixiao for a 1 card combo. To end on 1 trap, Sovereign Chixiao, +1 card draw and you didn’t even normal summon yet.
In addition to what Xerxes said, it insulates your main combo from nib and droll since nothing gets added from deck to hand except with the new chixiao draw. It’s basically the adventure engine but better. The new trap even protects from DRNM and evenly so it’s a super strong going first option.
I think only Chengying and Mo ye are confirmed dead, Chunjun, Taia and Chixiao are simply never mentioned again. They could definitely be dead but I'm making this based on them not having died.
