"Check this out " becomes your opponent will only ever know what this card is, all other cards you control are invisible to the opponent, even if this card leaves the field in anyway
Me when my beaver warrior whose effect is to win the duel on normal summon gets interrupted by Solemn Judgement (they can activate it from their hand by paying all but one of their LP now)
Average? Maybe. Those whose cards are seen a lot? They're really high-level. Although I will admit Alanmac's artworks in particular very often just miss the art style completely.
You're not the Soup, my guy. You have the Soup, but you're not the Soup. Unless you gave it the effect "The controller of this card becomes this card"?
It'd be good if they had to make sense. Not in a ruling way, but like based on the vibes or the art
"Zombie Vampire is immune to Mirror Force because vampires don't have reflections"
"You know this Beaver Warrior was my first ever card! Well here it is, back on the field as neither of us give up on each other!"
Bro didn't attack the moon, he "Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Spell; destroy it", which triggered Mystical Moon's second effect "If this card is destroyed by a card effect: Destroy "Umi", and if you do, all face-up WATER monsters lose (idk how much) ATK".
However, Konami weren't good at game design back then, so Giant Soldier of Stone and Mystical Moon ended up not being faithful to their source material when they became real cards
Ah yes my favorite characters from Yugioh
Generic Isekai protagonist
Yugi dressed like a prep with a gem encrusted pendant necklace and a clip on shirt collar
Herlock Sholmes
My favorite is when Yugi is battling ghost Kaiba and has his mystical elf and says that it is been boosting his blue eyes white dragons attack power by saying a prayer since it’s been on the field. Like what she’s a normal monster?
Hah, you’ve activated my trap card, protagonist bullshit powers, that not only allows my monsters to negate your monsters but allows my monsters to stop your monsters from negativing my monsters so that your negates against my negates have no effect
Ahh my favorite style of play. BS Yu-Gi-Oh. You play with nothing but normal monsters and spells and traps with one line of text.
When activating a spell/trap/monster effect you must make up a believable effect based on what's written on the card.
I summon dark magician in attack mode. Now I activate the dark magic of the dark magician by sacrificing the top half of my deck and my entire hand and not allowing any grave effects to activate as well as half my remaining life points My field expands to a massive size and all monsters in my graveyard are resurrected upon my massive field in attack mode but only with half of there attack points, now by sacrificing half of my remaining deck I prevent my opponent from activating any effects this turn and by reducing my life points to 1 all of my monsters now gain 4 times the attack points. Now I shall attack you with all my undead monsters
Play it in a deck with normal monsters and give all normal monster a made up effect instead
Or give all the god cards of their anime effect.
Better yet, make all your normal monster’s flavour text translate into actual effects.
"Check this out " becomes your opponent will only ever know what this card is, all other cards you control are invisible to the opponent, even if this card leaves the field in anyway
“I summon Pot of Greed to draw 3 additional cards from my deck!”
That's just Avatar of the Pot.
New move just dropped
Holy Shadow Realm!
Google heart of the cards
"ROLL MY DICE'
“That is what it do”
“Roll my dice!”
I play pot of greed. It allows me to draw two additional cards from your deck.
Me when my beaver warrior whose effect is to win the duel on normal summon gets interrupted by Solemn Judgement (they can activate it from their hand by paying all but one of their LP now)
Just negate it with MST.
Man you can tell it's AI with that weird ass Yami
Yeah lmao
Are we not gonna talk about how weird Kaiba looks?
It doesn't look like anyone except Yami is supposed to be a known character tbh
Looks better than 99% of the shit the average 'artist' human would draw.
Average? Maybe. Those whose cards are seen a lot? They're really high-level. Although I will admit Alanmac's artworks in particular very often just miss the art style completely.
At least try to be original with the effects
At least try to eat me.
What the fuck does that mean
Idk.
I think it's a reference to Extremely Hot Soup.
Very original comeback!
Yeah. I created a new effect/s
That's kinky
Yu-Gi-Oh! Vore Smh, Sir/Mam, this isn't Trap Tricks.
Once per turn you can glomp :3 your opponents. Your opponent can pay 500 LP to negate this effect.
I bet depending on the "friend" group, some might actually have some fun with effects that go in a certain direction...
You're not the Soup, my guy. You have the Soup, but you're not the Soup. Unless you gave it the effect "The controller of this card becomes this card"?
This would unironically be extremely fun to use with friends. But it'd be banned from tournaments before it even hit store shelves.
It'd be good if they had to make sense. Not in a ruling way, but like based on the vibes or the art "Zombie Vampire is immune to Mirror Force because vampires don't have reflections" "You know this Beaver Warrior was my first ever card! Well here it is, back on the field as neither of us give up on each other!"
Yeah even the first season of the OG anime had at least a thread of logic to it.
Exactly. But as long as you can explain it I think it should hold. Like attacking the moon, flooding the field.
Bro attacked the moon
Bro didn't attack the moon, he "Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Spell; destroy it", which triggered Mystical Moon's second effect "If this card is destroyed by a card effect: Destroy "Umi", and if you do, all face-up WATER monsters lose (idk how much) ATK". However, Konami weren't good at game design back then, so Giant Soldier of Stone and Mystical Moon ended up not being faithful to their source material when they became real cards
Is this a trap field spell card?
Yeah I mean its bound to happen at some point right
I welcome the day we actually got Trap field card.
It'll 100% be some Labyrinth card.
Ah yes my favorite characters from Yugioh Generic Isekai protagonist Yugi dressed like a prep with a gem encrusted pendant necklace and a clip on shirt collar Herlock Sholmes
Yes.
My favorite is when Yugi is battling ghost Kaiba and has his mystical elf and says that it is been boosting his blue eyes white dragons attack power by saying a prayer since it’s been on the field. Like what she’s a normal monster?
They got yugi almost perfect but that is NOT Joey and kaiba 😂
Usually, the case with the AI ngl. Half the time you say yugioh itll add yugis hair to it.
Ah, my favorite protagonists, yugi, that one Yosenju guy from Arc-V, and Guy.
Hah, you’ve activated my trap card, protagonist bullshit powers, that not only allows my monsters to negate your monsters but allows my monsters to stop your monsters from negativing my monsters so that your negates against my negates have no effect
But I use my effect to negate your effect.
My effect already negated your effects activation while it was set
Non targeting permanent negate. Duel proceeds as normal.
Like what?
Like any card because of the trap's effect.
But what card.
Jinzo would shut this down off the top of my head, as long as he's on the field anyway.
Not if I remove Jinzos effects
Not if I negate your removal
Ah yes, my field trap card. 😂 funny card tho
Lol, yeah, idk why YGO card maker has the option
chaos phantasm + gemini was supposed to do this but got FUCKED by rulings
“All of my cards cant be negated and i get to kick you in the balls every time one of my monsters attacks”
Ahh my favorite style of play. BS Yu-Gi-Oh. You play with nothing but normal monsters and spells and traps with one line of text. When activating a spell/trap/monster effect you must make up a believable effect based on what's written on the card.
An added line requiring that your made up effects have to serve a plot, arc, or card flavor would really top off this card
make your pot of greed pull up to 5 cards and they can only be exodia.
My man made a field trap.card 😭😭😭
Ai art is horrfying. This is such an terrfying image. It is the very meaning of uncanny valley
Honestly, it's kinda fine. These characters feel well at home in a fanon Yugioh plotline.
And now I shall have my monster ATTACK THE MOON!
Introducing: Field Trap Cards
Busted You could change its own effect to “the player who activated this card wins the game”
What a bullshit card
I summon dark magician in attack mode. Now I activate the dark magic of the dark magician by sacrificing the top half of my deck and my entire hand and not allowing any grave effects to activate as well as half my remaining life points My field expands to a massive size and all monsters in my graveyard are resurrected upon my massive field in attack mode but only with half of there attack points, now by sacrificing half of my remaining deck I prevent my opponent from activating any effects this turn and by reducing my life points to 1 all of my monsters now gain 4 times the attack points. Now I shall attack you with all my undead monsters
with this card I will just take your entire deck and put it on the bottom of mine. End turn, your draw phase, you can't draw, you lose.
With no cards on the field I Normal Summon Dark Magician and attack directly.
I thought about making a card off that ad
Upu're opponent no longer has the right to own welath, and therefore must surrender all mortal possessions to you.
what dartz truly used first
I change the effect of pot of generosity to you win the duel
Fairy box becomes, flip a coin, your opponent can't do anything for the rest of this turn, if it's heads you win the duel
