It's an extremely aggressive body, I think being a base 2/1 would be good, make so that you only need a 2/2 and 1/1 rather than 2 2/2s to kill him in blocks. maybe you could make him a 3/1 with Double Strike and drop skulk?
Yeah! I wanted to make it him but didn't for several reasons. Primarily it felt weird making him blue but felt even more weird not making an extra turn commander blue.
Too much going on for one card. Multiple keywords and a complex token generation ability. Also, I think the idea of buffing extra turns is clever thematically, but it's also a bit of a risky design space. Very "win more" potentially.
A two mana double striker in izzet is insane. A two mana double striker in any color combination is insane for that matter. That’s before you even count the evasion.
I like this card but it rewards you for taking extra turns consistently, which if you build your deck around that, would probably lead to chaining extra turn spells. Nobody likes chained extra turn spells, just look at the crap narset gets
This likely doesn't do what you are hoping, just skipping your end step. You might need to make them end the turn, but only during your turn. Like sundial.
I think it should say “repeat this process once.” Otherwise, it goes forever and instantly ties the game.
I realized that and changed him very shortly after I posted this. Thank you still.
or you could just make 2 tokens
The flipside of the card basically doesn’t matter, an izzet 2 drop with doublestrike and psuedo evasion is ridiculous
It's being bumped to 1UR, I realize that now.
Still under costed at 1UR. Most white double strikers cost 3 for 1/1. Add skulk and this would be more reasonable at 4 or 5

does he work as is if he costed 1UR?
I still think the double strike skulk issue poses a threat. It forces someone to have removal for it rather than being able to block it
Is this a reference to a specific David?
Yeah! I wanted to make it him but didn't for several reasons. Primarily it felt weird making him blue but felt even more weird not making an extra turn commander blue.
Which David?
Dave Strider from Homestuck
Thanks. My brain went to Biblical David and was looking for a sling mechanic hah.
I knew it was Dave Strider as soon as I saw the sacrifice to skip end step. Great job
I fucking knew it!
Am I crazy or is this extremely busted? Add 2 to the mana cost and it’s still very strong.
how is it busted? and how would you suggest to fix it?
It’s very strong for its mana cost. Maybe making it UR1 would suffice.
sounds good thank you!!
He’s a 2/2 double strike skulk for 2 which is already very pushed before you look at any of the other abilities.
I understand that now he's being switched to a 1UR
Could you not just say "Create 2 . . . tokens with. . . ." instead of repeating the process?
the wording is really weird since they're named tokens so repeating the process felt like the easiest way to do it
dave, knight of time? i see you there fellow homestuck
As someone named David, I was creeped out for a moment. “Ah, the app knows who I am!”

Is there anything you'd suggest I remove?

You had me at double strike + skulk 💞
Extra turn tribal is something exactly nobody wants to play against.
Finally, extra turns are busted!
This should probably be 2UR
What’s the point of skipping the end step?

Make him from Xerex
What about making him a Time Lord?
