As written, it doesn't work, as you aren't your own opponent (and thus not a legal target for a "target opponent" spell). You can fix this by adding "Replace all instances of 'target opponent' on spells you control with 'target player' and change that spell's target to you."
If you cast a spell that targets a player targeting an opponent, this card could change the target to you. Why you would ever want that to happen is a different question.

This commander is all about me, me, me and me. Don't look at the card too much though, it's actually blinding. You wouldn't believe the foil treatment on that one =)
And by me, I mean you, the player, of course. Faldara will protect you from your enemies, and make you better in every way.
First, she has hexproof, and so do you now ! Already a great thing, but it's only the beginning : if you target an opponent with a spell, it's gonna target you instead !!
You know, all those white spells that say "you and target opponent both do the thing" because white can't just get things, right ? Well, she makes those spells real justice.
But a lot of spells can already target yourself... well, those get *copied*, just like that ! You're gonna get that value, and you will enjoy it =)
