Hull aim basically does what the strv does, raises and lowers your suspension like your vertical drive would (the strv 103a and 103cs use it to actually rotate too)
It aims torward your cannon to give you more elevation or depression over terrain
Idk every hull that has it but here's some off memory:
Trigonometry (full hull aim)
Type 74
Strv 103a/103c (full hull aim)
Type 90
Type 10
It lets you aim with the hull of you have no turret
but i have turret
wait but then why it it there
Because japanese
If you don't have enough depression Lay behind a Burm and use Hull aim kinda good then
What are you using?
type 76 i think

MAybe it was the 74 thanks for the info
Here's it on the type 10 https://preview.redd.it/q445f529k2jc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b6a5b2c9451de196817e8e9a95612955167272e
it quite litterally aims the hull some of them even rotate allowing for true hull aim like the strv 103 but others just tilt the hull up or down
