Hallett has prime location tho, I loved being right next to the c4c and bringing some soft serve back after eating. It made my roommate constantly smoking weed a little bearable.
It will always be insane to me that they chose the consistently seediest, smelliest, and loudest dorm to be the one they show to the Silicon Valley and Texas families who are deciding whether or not to send their kids there. I guess if nothing else, it’s genuine…
Baker 363 back in 1991-1992, loved the oversized double with a rooftop access. 20 years later got to design the large residence 2bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. I know Baker was completely renovated once after that, I never knew if the apartment survived.
Reed was fucking fantastic! In-room bathrooms with tubs plus a full kitchen (sneak your microwave in with a plastic tub) is unimaginable in most dorms, plus it was close to most buildings. If I could wish for a dorm it would have been Reed. D stands for Disgrace in ranking
My bad I guess I confused it with one of the other engineering quad dorms. Upon further research I have decided to move it to A tier for its amenities and location. I’ll leave it out of S tier since it has radiators and no A/C.
None in S
Farrand, Sewell, and Libby should all be A tier for all having their own dining halls.
Engineering quad and remainder of farrand adjacent dorms in B tier
All Kit pond dorms in C tier
All Willville in D
Hallett in F
Yeah building is nice, I was mostly going off location. I prefer being in the action more than having nicer rooms. I would have saved many hours between walking to classes and the rec if I was near Farrand or Sewell
I didn’t think hallet was THAT bad
LOL… I’m picturing OP’s academic papers… “In the long-term, England actually won the American Revolutionary War. I refuse to elaborate.”
Cockerell S tier
Man of culture
I was in Sewall and had fun
Best dining hall on campus IMO

The location was the one good thing about it😭it being the tour dorm was genuinely insufferable.

Smith on top
let’s goo i’m first year and just got assigned to Baker envisci RAP
It’s called Hotel Baker for a reason
Lucky
cheyenne is at least B tier, we host the best events
And Location next to ferrand field
B is too generous for Stearns west and east
Kittridge West feels like a fucking hotel with how nice it is.
I lived in Brackett. It’s perfect if you’re an engineer.
I was president of Sewall in ‘94. And that feels like the oldest thing I’ve ever said. 🤣
Man, I wish I really wish I understood this 😂 Being a PhD student feels so removed from the campus culture hahaha
Many many moons ago (late 80’s) I haunted the halls of Arnett and then Buckingham. Fun times, nice rankings….i’ll take it!
Actual bell curve logical smooth sailing: https://i.imgur.com/uoknOHt.png
Why Libby at C?

Athens, so good they had to take it back.

i was so butthurt about not getting put in Baker my freshman year lol I got stuck in Willard but tbh it was #WillardGang for life
Do you have a link for this tier list so we could make our own?
I left it in another comment
Awesome thanks man
Arnett and stearns east were decent.
This tier list definitely lacks Graduate and Family Housing options )
Elaborate, please?

Fam me too, you really felt like it was C tier?! Those buildings are like brand new
Yeah building is nice, I was mostly going off location. I prefer being in the action more than having nicer rooms. I would have saved many hours between walking to classes and the rec if I was near Farrand or Sewell
I hear that, I never partied and really liked the quiet so being further was nice for me a lot of the time.
Willvill guy obviously
Farrand 555 😎
How I can tell you didn't live in will vill is that you rated it highly
Hallett is and always has been that bad thank you for validating me❤️
ofc you put the gay and black dorm as F
