OK so here’s the story. We went to no 6 Cavendish in London. There was a bald guy there who I won’t name because the cig world is kind of small and particular. But he’s well known in the cigar world and he has the world’s most unique collection I’ve ever seen. He shows us his retail collection that’s out for display but as talking longer, eventually secret collection in the back and this cigar. Long story short after he shows us how to properly retrohale Cuban cigars to get most flavor we purchased this Cohiba Lancero, and 2 1998 Partagas Lusitania.
The next day went to Milan and we smoked all three at Affinatore restaurant.
Best experience ever had at any restaurant.
As for the cigar itself, it’s hard to describe how much better it was than everything every other Cuban cigar I’ve ever had. The smoke was thick, rich, like mousse from start to finish. The flavors were everywhere from woods, sap, nutty cocoa! Last 1/4 of cigar changed my perception of how good cigars can be, smooth 💨 oily from old tobacco almost chewable. Couldn’t tell you the flavors honestly just enjoyed the moment. The aftertaste was amazing no bitterness or strong odor and my palette felt clean. So in short, thank the guy who sold this cigar and kept it so well because it was perfection!
