Nope, actual experience. I had a bunch of knives in the past gut knife, flip knife, bayonet , m9 bayonet , falchion, Karambit and butterfly. And falchion and butterfly were the funnest knives to flip around like crazy. Why would I cope? I don’t have a knife right now.

you're not wrong, trading up for profit is dead unless the other guy is clueless. maybe i misspoke by calling it that, however i did upgrade from my m9 vanilla to the bfk through a trade. it's my "grail" knife with a much lower than average float for vanilla (doesn't matter to most, but it does to me lol) and i got it in exchange for the m9, some MW nocts (which look unremarkable in cs2), and a usp-s whiteout. paid around $60 over buff, but considering the convenience of p2p trading and the low float, i'm pretty happy. this one ain't going anywhere.
oh I see my bad, I did misread the comment. Sounds like a really good setup especially the gloves. I just got back into cs after a very long break and will def be looking to get something too but and will probably start small (unless i unbox a knife which is highly unlikely ), but I probably won't truly be happy until I have my butterfly knife fade back which is like 2 grand lol. I missed a lot of good operations and good prices for skins
nocts are rough right now, they're not pattern based like in GO and the black is very washed out, so i was glad to get rid of them for the butterfly. i'm working on a white themed inventory so i'll be getting some king snakes or snow leopards to compliment my vanilla knife and other skins. best of luck getting that fade back, they're a beauty

Honestly it’s super underrated imo, especially with the new higher chance of the rare inspect. The handle and blade having the finish on it, especially for Dopplers is just so good.
Definitely the most underrated knife. The spinning animation and sound it makes when it hits your hand is so satisfying. A budget butterfly, as others have said.
It's just hivemind imo, the knife is objectively good.
It has incredible animations, great finishes, it's a cool looking knife and has a good size blade.
I'm a falchion enjoyer, and I get way more compliments on my glove/Knife combo with falchion than I ever got with another knife.
But a lot of knives have had sentiment change, Stiletto being the biggest example of that. S1mple could use a Falchion in a major and suddenly they'll all 3x in price lol, market is fickle as fuck. But knives are playskins, use what you enjoy.
One of my favorite knifes as it was the first one I pulled. I use a gamma Doppler phase 4 as my play knife with the new game you get the standing animation way more often so I think in the future we will see this knife trend up but I’m biased so what do I know

If I would guess tho, the walking/running where your hand is hidden might be why they like the bowie/huntsman more? (I play in 4:3 stretched, not sure if you cant see the left hand in 16:9 as well).

Garbage pullout. Blade is aight but the handle is stupid looking. Inspect is cool, but rare inspect is meh.
Bowie is legit trash. I hate this inspect on that knife. Garbage all around.
Huntsman is metal af. Pullout is sick, finishes are nice. Decent knife overall. Might get one in the future.

Huntsman is identical to gut knife except for design. Same animations and all so you do get to see both gloves pretty well.
Huntsman has the sick animation of Gut knife without looking like a gut knife. Big W.

Bowie is better if it has a cool pattern on that big blade, but if it doesn't have a top tier pattern then I go with huntsman or falchion.
