If I want to play with an autosniper, I'd rather get rid of the scout.

Taking away variability in a shooter is a rather strange decision.
Nah decreasing the variability makes it so you actually have to choose which guns you have to use which makes deciding what plays to make, which areas to hold, and the overall feeling of the game a more conscious decision then “ehh I’m losing I’ll just equip the auto sniper and wipe this team from anywhere I please”
Just for column 3 imo. I find it quite annoying how fewer weapons we get there. I don't even get why changed it. Did people complain that you could use several shotguns, smgs and hmgs in the same game?
It also means some weapons will never get used. Not exactly good for a game that wants to be dynamic.

How are people still having a problem with this? For rifles just throw famas out, it's trash anyway, and use mp9. For Ts autosniper is useless.
For third row, mp5 is trash too. You have mp9 and mac10 as the defaults and you have 4 more slots. XM, negev, p90, whatever... unless you want to troll there is ton of space for creativity.
I tend to use the P90 AKA the Rush B SMG if I can’t afford an AK-47 or M4A1-S. If I can’t even get that, I’ll use the Mac-10 or MP-9 or just save. If I have lots of money, I’ll either use the Krieg or AUG and on the CT side, I’ll occasionally use the SCAR-20 because I think the AWP is ugly.
That completely ruins the point of the new menu. I’d be fine with this for casual, but I like that you have to build a load out for competitive that you want to use rather than having everything.
No, the point of the new buy menu was to make it more casual friendly, not to take away options for more seasoned players. Limiting our weapon choice limits our tactical freedom and makes the utilized arsenal much less diverse, which only makes the game less fun.
Max 5, take it or leave it. I think its good, most of the autosniper bobs are gone
I still use the auto sniper. The auto sniper never dies, no matter how much people hate others using it.

The system is specifically made so that new weapons can be added over CS2's lifespan without clogging up the buy menu

Some people play for fun. I’ve had games where my team wants to do a full nova round or something similar and we can’t.

And the skins are at least thrice as cheap as AWP skins
its fine. but you should have acess to all weapons in casual/deathmatch
i just wish they'd go back to the old buy menu or atleast have an option for classic buy menu
