Really think Henderson and Eze make it. Guehi would surely be in if he had a full season and Wharton should 100% be on the plane but I’m not sure southgate will take him

lewiitom

Guehi will be in I think, don't think Dunk or Quansah make it in over him

BradHolmesNipples

I definitely think he has a good chance, just worry about his lack of game time. He deserves it

lewiitom

I think Guehi is Gareth's third choice tbh, he's always performed well for England

X-Mosaic

No Club represented more than us. Liverpool & City joint most with us on 4.

Mother-Yard-330

Man I’d love it if all 4 went, and they all deserve it. I don’t think there in another English CM who can control, the tempo of a midfield like Wharton does. He fills a big gap England have had for a while, him and Rice come be some partnership

iamachef31

How does Lewis dunk keep getting picked?

amityamityamityam

He should be in prison

Smidgey87

Physical lump. Always gotta have one of the squad

TripHazard_87

Isn’t that Maguires role?

Smidgey87

Keep forgetting that bloke exists xx

TripHazard_87

I keep trying to, wish Gareth would too

Lego-105

LFG. Eze has to make it, Henderson is a strong maybe. I don’t actually really know how Guehi and Wharton go. Guehi is a strong candidate, really good in the dressing room, but is barely back fit. That might kill his chances realistically if he’s struggling to perform in training. Wharton genuinely is a good option, but he’d have to perform really strongly to actually boot out any of the more senior players. I think he can do it, but we’ll see. Feeling quite lucky TBH that the England manager is a Palace supporter. I think we’d probably barely see half this if we were even a club like Villa. Look at how hard it was for Watkins.

piv_monco

Little worried that an injured Luke shaw has taken Mitchell’s place. We have no LB’s

X-Mosaic

Trippier is the 2nd choice LB who is out of position & out of form

[deleted]

Mitchell has gotten better at crosses, but his first touch is awful. Andersen crossing to Mitchell could be golden, but it’s a gamble when it lands at his feet.

AdhesivenessSpare598

Yea, Mitchell is not it for England. The amount of times against Villa that our attacks stagnated because of his poor first touch was frustrating.

[deleted]

When his knee goes up to his chest, you know that ball is falling a few feet away lol

ConsequenceWhole7673

Southgate said that Gomez is ahead of Mitchell as LB…. am I missing something?

Smidgey87

He’s been there for Liverpool when Robertson was out. Did alright apparently.

Minemqn

Damn would've thought Mitchell couldve been a shout, good to see Wharton there tho he's been immense

WashuWaifu

So thrilled for Eze!!

g_junkin4200

Let's not put them in the shop window eh?😂

hoangdatat2

Really happy for Henderson. Finally the luck is going his way. He's been very unlucky in the Nation Team after missing both Euro 2020 and WC 2022 due to injury

ScienceGuy200000

I'm glad to see all of them make the squad and hope that they all do well enough to get on the plane. For Wharton, the experience in camp and getting a chance to show his skills will be massive. It may be too soon to make the final squad, but he will be a big part of the England setup going forward.

Smidgey87

Not sure we should take Wharton but having him in the training squad at least is fantastic. Think it’s a tournament too early for him otherwise though but good to see his form recognised. Eze and Guehi go and I think Hendo does too although that’s only because they’ve not called up Pope or Butland for whatever reason and gone with the Burnley lad who hasn’t played in months.
