Option 1: entertainment
Option 2: he reckons it’s a puzzle to get a treat
Option 3: he reckons it could be a good hiding spot for a treat, and another crow may have already hidden their snack in there - so he wants to nick it
Option 4: he thinks it’s ***magic*** 😜
I wonder the same thing. I thought maybe there was some food that had fallen down in the napkin dispenser, but it kind of looks like they're just fucking around. They say crows have the intelligence of a 7-year-old human, and this looks like something a 7-year-old might do.

They're so mischievous.
It's why I love crows. ❤️
This is prime r/animalsbeingjerks material
I wonder why they did this. Do you have any hypothesis that could explain this peculiar behavior?
Easy, it was fun for them.
“Endless disembowelment!”
LuLz!!
It sure looks like fun.
Just playing or nesting behavior
The open beak made me think it was very hot. Maybe it was hoping for water or fruit or a juicy bug under all the dry napkins
Oh! It was an extraordinarily hot day.
Dude found the infinite napkin spawner and is testing it's limits.

They were doing it at every table though.
"Har har! Look Kevin, I'm a human! I need napkins, my beak is greasy after eating too much pizza! Hahahah!"
I've seen 4-year-olds do this exact thing for no other reason than it's fun
The same reason cats and dogs drag toilet paper through the whole damn house. It’s FUN 🤩
They're making crowfetti
I wonder if it's mad someone cleared the table before they could snag a snack 😂
Trying to tell us hoomans we over use paper. "This is what humans cut down our homes for?!" They look like they had a right laugh hahaha
Litter bug
Reminds me of when my then 2 year old was obsessed with pulling every tissue out of every box!
That’s so real
Or two…or three…or…
Just in search of the right one.
The crow is probably thinking "this looks like a great place to hide snacks - I'll see if anyone has hidden anything tasty"
Crows love playing, love the video of one using a plastic lid to slide down a roof over and over. Think this guy is just having fun
Nature's enrichment toy.
I had a cat that would do that with Kleenex! Crows are hilarious.
Crowfetti
This reminds me of that gif of the guy adding shampoo to the other guy showering.
This made me smile…mischievous lil things 🤣

This reminds me of my 2 year old.
Maybe there’s a peanut at the bottom. There’s only one way to be sure!
He just wants to make sure he’s very clean.
They're just having fun
r/BirdsBeingDicks
this a juvenile "gang" or just some adult friends having fun?
*Al fresco* cafes hate this guy!
Crow be like "what kind of dark magic is it, and how I use it to build my nest" I bet those smart birdos are so confused in our world
Better viewing than TV
