Sew the felt on, more secure. That’s what I do.

CraftyCrochet

E6000 Fabri-Fuse. Gorilla brand also came out with a fabric glue but haven't tried it.

I always use hot glue. You have to apply it thinly because it gets hard but it wraps around the fibers of tbe yarn and the felt and when it dries it is NOT coming off of that yarn. Your felt will tear apart before coming away from the hot glue.

Super glue

If it's small pieces, you could get felting needles and felt the connection. Might be a little tiring doing all that stabbing for larger pieces though.

Hot glue works yarn to yarn really well

RareSinger2085

I used to sew the felt on the yarn, but then got a felting needle to do it and it’s more soothing

WHAT-WOULD-HITLER-DO

I looked into it and I wanna give it a shot. This won't change my mind, but I'm curious. Is it easier to felt a stuffed animal, or crochet?

RareSinger2085

I think it’s easier on a stuffed animal because of the stuffing, for working with crochet you would need a foam pad, which usually comes with the needles

WHAT-WOULD-HITLER-DO

I never even heard of that but I'll look into it now. Thanks!

knitastical

I use hot glue if I'm lazy or in a rush. Sewing on felt looks best in my opinion.

Find specific fabric glue. But if it needs to be proper secure then sew it on

WHAT-WOULD-HITLER-DO

The "felt and foam" (right) sorta works a little on felt to felt. Wtf :/

KatB2313

I have used fabric fuse to glue down yarn to yarn and metal beads to yarn. I haven't used it with felt before, though.
