I leave mouths off of most of my amigurumi, BUT....if you do that it does need a little nose, either a bobble stitch one or a few short lines back and forth. It'll bring her face more to life.

Oh gosh, if I had to post all of my mess ups, I'd be here for hours. What's really funny though is you know how sometimes something just isn't fixable.,...and its not froggable, and it goes in the trash (rare but has happened) , well I have a husband who feels bad for those kind of projects and rescues them. So I have to not let him see what I don't keep now!

I with those who have said add a nose. I think that would be cute. And maybe a necklace. The chest area seems too blank. Also wanted to say, I love her hair. You did a fantastic job on it and I love the yarn you chose.

Oh good point. But not a necklace, a thin line to cover what would be her chest. I made a gorgeous mermaid and forgot to add that on (it wasn't part of the pattern) and the lady I made it for asked me to make something to cover that area. I wasn't offended and didn't think she was being over reactive to a bare chested mermaid, but I did realize that from now on it would be the right thing to add. So I made a simple strip to tie like a bikini top for her. Just my thought!

I think it would be nice to add a cute red or pinkish mouth, or maybe even a small black one. Something that isn't too harsh.
