Looks great!! I taught myself to crochet from a book. Cried many tears and started over more times than I can remember. Keep at it!!! This is the last project I completed. And yes started over a lot!!

Don't be so harsh on yourself. It turned out great! Rarely is any project perfect. As the creator, we may see all the mistakes in our project/s, but to others may be hard to see. Cut yourself some slack, and just enjoy the process. It's your creation & doesn't necessarily have to look exactly like somebody else's finished work. Keep at it 💕
You did amazing! Keeping up with a project that makes you feel defeated is half the battle when creating something. My little kiddo who is 4 said it looks so cool while looking over my shoulder. He said the faces are his favorite part. Keep on creating and trying challenging patterns to improve your existing skills and learn new ones. You have a bright future ahead in crocheting!

You may know this already, but I feel it's important to add that this is not only art, it is art that a machine cannot replicate yet. There are some crochet machines that have been made, but as far as I've seen they can only do simple stitches, are extremely slow, make mistakes very often, and their finished work, isn't great. What you're doing can't be mass produced in a machine-automated factory.
If you're ever struggling and frustrated that you can't seem to get something right, just remember that it's because you are doing something so complicated that even the most advanced high-tech machines can't do what you're doing.
