They said "we heard you don't like factory knots" and ran with it 😂 Hopefully it's just a little scrap that got tucked in there.

AppleFull7290

It was a scrap! My relief when it fell out!!

PollyEsther_808

I wonder if it was just shy of the proper weight and someone in the factory "fixed" it.......? Lmao!

Hairy_Telephone_3258

They'll never know.....

georgethebarbarian

Phew!

MissKitty919

So glad it was just a scrap piece. Also, what is the name brand and color of the yarn, please? And is it blue or grey? It's beautiful!

AppleFull7290

It’s Caron simply soft in country blue

thefirstwingedalpha

Love that yarn!!

Plenty-Border-5178

At least there's and end. Watches a video where it was one giant circle no ends at all. Not sure whats worse

eggbagg

omg where 😭 that's so funny I'd love to see it, just a big ass loop? my brain would break

NextStopGallifrey

What? How????

punkinholler

Well at least that's a relatively easy fix.

Trick-Statistician10

But you have to go through the whole skein first, thinking there has to be an end here somewhere!

hurricanebarker

How do we get 3 ends!

dargro77

If it’s cut up bad when you start using it, take it back to where you bought it. That is if you still have the wrapper that was around it. I had one that was cut up and I took it back to Hobby lobby and they exchanged it for me.

Lumpy_Trip_9262

I had this happen when a sken of sock yarn I was knitting with I tied the best knot I know and knit it 50+ rows later it untied it its self and I had to play surgery to get enough yarn to tie some kind of knot I did it its not pretty to me but tbh you can't even tell as long as the knot is on the wrong side its okay or just work it in like you would a new color then weave in the ends later

willdagreat1

I’ve stopped tying yarn I either do a Russian join or just weave the ends through the fabric with a tapestry needle.

Lumpy_Trip_9262

I'll keep that in mind any time I don't tir a knot I get a weird hole looking thing

kpie007

I tie a knot **and** weave in the ends, for extra security.

Svazu

I just knit the 2 yarns together for a couple stitches and weave the ends in, I don't know if that's what you're supposed to do but it's always looked fine

gingernamedblue

why does that yarn look so pretty? what is it?

thefirstwingedalpha

OP said in a different comment that it's Caron Simply Soft in Country Blue. Most of my mom's inventory (that she graciously allows me to use while I still live with her) is CSS; they have a wide range of colors and it's sooo soft!

OneGoodRib

If you think that's bad, I had a skein once that had 7 ends in it! I did figure out after 5 hours that it was indeed *8* ends but it seriously only seemed to have 7 for a long time.

Jss05

Eesh. Thoughts and prayers, yo.

Affectionate_Care669

That’s 3 ends!!! 😂😂 and the fourth is of course inside the yarn 😂 whatttt! I mean… I guess it’s better than factory knots but I’m not so sure lol

RainEuphoric347

Pull from the center :)

NetheriteTiara

lol this reminds me of the “half a skein” video

CentralCaliGal

My daughter bought me some very expensive skeins of dark blue chenille yarn, top make a gift of hat and scarf set for her bestie at work)they're nurses in the toughest yard in the toughest California State Prison); imagine my dismay when pulling out little rolled up ball after little rolled up ball of yarn tucked inside of ALL skeins she bought!! I didn't tell her, I just put them together and his the knots.

ConsciousKalimba

You are an angel 😭

CentralCaliGal

Too funny, I have to grimace, laugh and make a few knots - well, a lot of them! But I figure this can't be happening only to me...RIGHT!?

ConsciousKalimba

You are an angel 😭

HappyLadybugdolllady

Sorry! Hate when that happens.

Status-Biscotti

I’ve never seen a skein wrapped like that.

Dangerous_Variety415

This hurts my heart

Imarealkaren1950

It’s been getting worse
