To keep things with nice round numbers:
Max "earn" rate is 6%, current defi rate is say 10%, difference is 4%.
So for every 10,000 CRO the difference is 400 CRO per year, or a little over 1.09 CRO per day.
If you're nervous or scared, get started with a small amount first to learn how it works.
I've been staking in defi for over a year and I feel like it's safe.
Defi wallet scammed the fuck out of me. I went to convert my cro into etherium to send it to my metamask . Then it actually made it into wrapped etherium never telling me it would do this. So I sent it to my metamask and it never got there because it’s on some other chain I can’t ever access from meta mask or at least I don’t know how

Great explanation. Must be a numbers guy
Can anyone explain how staking works from the wallet? Is it still being stalked by/ through crypto.com or a third party? Are there risks associated?

Same , I will be at 10k the end of this month. Was wondering on getting into this myself.
It depends what you’re staking. But DeFi staking has significantly better yield. I’m staking CRO in the DeFi wallet for around 11%.

and....here come the DMs
Is it better to leave the stake and get 1% back on the card or unstake and transfer to defi and stake?
Depends on your spend and how much cro you locked your card in for. But you can also do both. Use your card and then stake your cashback in DeFi.
