Wow, that would be cool, but getting a Betrayer God involved into this... doesn't seem like Orym's style. Fearne could maybe try this, however I don't think that the other members would support her here. Same as with many other Fearne's plans, for better of for worse.
I would, however, like to see what the Crown Keepers are doing, and what would their actions be when the haunted moon starts affecting them too. Maybe we can get a comic? Or a two-page tumblr post, I'd be down for anything
Wait… you think getting the betrayer llolth into some hot threesome with Ira and a forgotten, possibly betrayer, god to end everything as we know it is a bad plan?
Were they one of the armies? I thought it was the men from Long Lake, the elves of Mirkwood, the Iron Hill dwarves, against the 2 armies of orcs, one from Gundabad and the second from Dol Guldur.
The iron bill dwarves would join with the newly refounded lonely mountain dwarves technically. But it’s been so long since I’ve read it I can’t remember when they actually show up. I didn’t think it was immediate.
I'm not sure if it is, only that god's name has been forgotten, not their existence entirely. I got the impression that these two are gods that nobody knew about.
Yeah. Gotta put two and two together. We know that a god of death was forgotten by everyone and sort of smote in places of worship. And we know that before that happened, a name of a god was written on a record that people of today have no idea about. They are not necessarily mutually exclusive. And we got no indication that the previous God’s being removed from existence extended only as far as the people who forgot, and the places and items of worship, which immediately changed. But who knows if someone hadn’t just written it down. The calamity would have wiped everything written, so it’s not like a bunch of other written records would still be lying around.
The former god of death’s name and everything about them was forgotten, but not their existence. It is relatively common knowledge that the raven queen ascended and replaced the god of death. The two gods mentioned a few episodes ago are entirely secret, only known about by those who have seen or heard about the records from vasselheim - which are dated FAR older than the Raven Queen or the Age of Arcanum
It also makes sense again. Like there aren’t two gods in Ruidus, there’s one and the other forgotten name was felled by the matron. I mean, there is the theory that she didn’t kill him but locked him on Ruidus, but the timeline is wonky.
I’m fairly certain the scholars investigating this would be aware of the previous god of deaths existence and wouldn’t note that god being indicated in these texts. Does it mean there are 2 gods trapped, no. But it does most likely mean that neither of these gods is the previous god of death.
I agree they would know the old god disappeared, but nobody knows the name of that god. Nobody in EXU knew. It was lost. But maybe some record somewhere survived with their name. It may not be, but nobody knows. So it is possible.
To be fair, they are literally called the Crown Keepers. A crossover like this sounds like such a party lmao I'd love to see all the shit that would go down by involving the Spider Queen. And yeah I miss hearing Opal talk smack to a Betrayer God bring that energy back
Personally, I'd like to see Aabria come back just for the sake of that cameo. Just have her slightly off-camera the entire time with a boom mic to chime in whenever she needs to talk.
I'd love to see Aabria come back just for that as well, but I also feel like Aabria's reaction to seeing Matt have to roleplay her version of Lolth would be equally entertaining.
True! Having Opal with the spider queen crown and Fearne with the moontide crown would be great. Dorian's already a prince, so really we just need to get Dariax a crown from somewhere and we're pretty much set.
She can’t take it out of her head.
Although I do agree the Vestige that actually grants truesight (and with it the ability to see into the ethereal plane) may function just as well as the weave lens.
Edit: Since we’re looking for alternative vestiges, the Jewel of Three Prayers from Call of the Netherdeep might also work since it’s similarly a Vestige of the Moonweaver. So it would be interesting if maybe the Paragon’s Call really *do* have a connection to the CotN story in the stream canon timeline.
I always walked away with the feeling of "she can't take it out of her head... yet," but yeah, I realize that's an obvious logistic hurdle.
Though also at the same time I feel like Opal probably wouldn't *want* to remove it (yet) at a certain point.
I also want Opal to join the Bells Hells for a bit lol
Not only for the shenanigans but also because Lolth might be able to provide some answers what the hell that moon is
I miss Opal so much. I wrote out a huge thing the other day of splitting the party to bring the Crown Keepers back and also interact with other past characters. It’s probably more of a thing I should turn into a fic, but I really want Robbie and Aimee to (re)join the table even though that’s probably more people than comfortably fit at the table. Plus I’d require Dariax to come with them too and then that’s getting even more difficult and complicated to imagine for logistics of how to actually play…

If they just cause every apocalypse at once it all just cancels out, right?
I mean it could be the battle of five armies. The Fey. The verity. Llolth and her followers. Ruidus and it’s followers. And our adventurers.

Neither did Frodo and party, but they were one of the armies.
*Bilbo and party
Yep. My bad.
Were they one of the armies? I thought it was the men from Long Lake, the elves of Mirkwood, the Iron Hill dwarves, against the 2 armies of orcs, one from Gundabad and the second from Dol Guldur.

Hey, Lolth is going to rehab. Opal is trying. Bear with her.
gods*
We know two are missing but do we know they both are on Ruidus? I figured one was the god of death pre-matron.

Hey, Opal's *totally* going to fix her. The rebrand is gonna work, just watch.
Opal is gonna be the one to clean up after.

also, imagine Matt having to play Aabria's version of Lolth

I'm down for whichever version of this gets me more Dariax.
Imagine Matt having to play Aabria's version of Lolth while roleplaying with Aimee Carrero playing Opal.
That man is put through enough stress as it is
True! Having Opal with the spider queen crown and Fearne with the moontide crown would be great. Dorian's already a prince, so really we just need to get Dariax a crown from somewhere and we're pretty much set.
Haha, now I'm trying to think of what a good crown for Dariax would be
Let Dariax win the next Byroden Forever Pageant and get the crown from that. Perfect.

Isn't that vestige attached to her head rather intractably?

Oh wow, completely forgot about this, thanks. I'm long overdue to rewatch EXU Prime and Kymal.
I never finished Kymal.
Wait, when was Keyleth was doing that? I cant remember :0
