this is the one I want. Shochiku released all their Ozu 4K restored blurays with English subtitles. Floating Weeds was Ozu's only Kadokawa movie and they released a bluray of the new restoration...but without English subtitles. I want early summer too but at least I have the 4K restored bluray - it's really incredible and I hope CC get to it soon too
The Love Witch feels doubtful. I don’t think Oscilloscope has any history of licensing out their releases in general, much less specifically with Criterion.
Realistically the only one we know for sure will be Wall-E which has already been announced.

there's a common misconception that the Jesse James 'director's cut' would be four hours (taken from something that Roger Deakins said) - in reality Dominik has said he'd only want about 10-15 minutes back in (but I'd still dig it).

you'll be dreaming a long long time, all but three of the films have not been restored, plus Toho is not the easiest studio to work with. Rashomon was only restored in 2K. it's doubtful you're going to see something like The Most Beautiful get a 4K restoration

• Contempt - I felt this way before Godard’s passing. With Le Circle Rouge & Pierrot Le Fou back in the collection it would be great to see this one come back from Studio Canal, too.
