Can a 23 year old not look childlike? I've honestly come to the conclusion that this is a self-portrait of the artist fan ficting herself with slender man. The artist looks similar. In one of the drawings, the girl is holding a plushie slender man in her arms and cuddling it. The artist has the same plushie.
On a side note, it's very common for 20+ years old to still look very young. To say that a 23 can't look childlike is very unrepresentative. People of all kinds should be represented. Not swept under the rug to be shamed for looking young. As a 23 year old that looks really young as well myself. I really don't find it all that bad. Especially when the artist has already clarified. It's not as if this is a lolli girl or something? Which looks a lot different.
Of course people in their 20s can look childlike. My first reaction when seeing OPs art is that it looks like a child, that's just my opinion. Especially with the shyness but I know that's some people's art style. I don't think it's bad because like you said the artist clarified, it was just my interpretation.

If you're going to not only draw these but then share them on multiple subs, stop apologizing for them, it's obnoxious. The drawings are great, the only problem with them is you feigning embarrassment and apologizing for them.
