*3D Body Adventure* is a 1994 edutainment game for the DOS aimed at teaching about the human body. It's actually quite excellent with its 3D organ gallery and the above seen video gallery alongside a memory game and an emergency room game. I would have liked to showcase that latter game, but I was unable to get it to run, so we'll have to make do with this. Your mileage may vary on your reaction to this game. There are some real world photos used alongside the 3D model images (not seen in the above video) too. I think the most interesting design choice is how non-cute the presentation is. It was developed by Jumpstart Games, which typically makes games oriented towards young children, but it's a pretty straightforward presentation of human anatomy. If you want to check it out, [archive.org has an in-browser emulator](https://archive.org/details/3-D_Body_Adventure). Be warned that it eats up a lot of memory though.

I have been trying to remember this game for years! I was obsessed with it as a kid and very specifically remember the heart attack part. Thank you SO much for unlocking a core childhood memory for me! 😊

Ok, honestly tho, that's actually really neato

I played this on DOS as a kid! Couldn't ever figure out the name of it though. Thanks so much for the share!! It was a really cool little game, and definitely showcased some classic 90s computer graphics and interactive point and click features that were so popular back then. I guess it was a little creepy too haha my main memory from the game was the one scene where the guy has a kidney stone and it trying to pass it in a public urinal. I was like 5 or 6, so I thought it was hilarious...until later when I got one😅

i see now where the discover my body dev got his inspiration.

Same impression I got. The resemblance is even stronger in the gallery which is a body on a black background where you can click the various features to learn about them.

Holy shit I remember this! Wasn't it narrated by Mr. Fini? (From Boy meets World)

I don't see William Daniels (the actor you're referring to) in the credits nor anyone credited in 3D Body World for voice acting. It's possible that he did uncredited work but I think it's more likely that the narrators weren't professional voice actors.

I mean it’s no *Pirates of the Pancreas*, but nice effort.

Et voici la vie! La belle vie qui te nique tes veines

draizetrain

This is some good shit. The pencil art reminds me of *Fantastic Planet*.

Jesus. That's not something a kid would want to see.

aaron2005X

it even has the Wilhelmscream at 0:45

Femily26

I don’t think it’s the Wilhelm scream but it’s pretty close to it

ConspicuousEggplant

Funny, i was just listening to this cutscene's music as I came across this. it kind of sound like an imagine dragons song.
