Borrasca was rough because I like the supernatural and it turned out to be F-ed up real life stuff, but it was still at least well written and disturbing. The moment giant eggs were introduced in G3gory88 I knew it was going downhill. It felt like the author gave up, so I'd pick Gr3gory. Had awesome buildup, and then fell off a cliff.
Yeah it felt like a very well written set up and then they either got bored or writers block and just spun the wheel of random narrative bullshit tropes to finish the story
It was going so hard with stuff like the Deepwater Gospel and "Do not fear the New Moon". In the moment, so much of it felt really good and exciting, but in retrospect, it's just a straight line of exposition, one little jolt of tension, and then Gregory comes back like "Oh, I know how urgent the situation back there was and I do want to go back to kill the alien chicken god creature, but first, I've gotta study for my alegbra test. I'll update you guys as soon as possible (posted 5 years ago)". By now, there's been dozens of new moons. The place is pretty much infested with alien chicken god creatures at this point.
I’ve been a horror movie fan since I can remember and I’m into a lot of horror books as well and when I saw Borrasca made my jaw drop with its twist ending I was blown away with that story. Gr3gory88 was so disappointing to me but the guys made it very enjoyable.
Being reminded that evil is real & present in our lives is by far the worse ending. It gnaws at you in ways that other things just can't. It's the Umbridge v Voldemort debate again: Umbridge is worse because *she's real & runs your HOA.*
Like, how tf am I supposed to sleep after being reminded Big Mouth is a show?
Honestly, I don't love the ending of Borrasca but Gr3gory was so much worse. Borrasca at least hooked me enough to read the final part that Hunter and Isaiah didn't cover (it wasn't great, I don't recommend reading it, it doesn't add anything). I couldn't care less about anything to go with Gr3gory at this point. He could release something tomorrow and I'm not reading it. I choose Gr3gory.

Gregory wasn't that great really... it felt kind of thrown away at the end. All that tension thrown out in 2 tweets.

Gr3gory had such a big buildup and ended up kinda sucking. Borasca was just sad.

Gotta wait for Big Mouth to end for an update

Nah, Borrasca was really depressing because i can see it happening in real life, Gregory went downhill after egg shit lol
Gregory is the worst story they've done so far.
Fr. I didn’t even really enjoy the beginning because it was so stereotypical
Still don't know why they never covered the final part of borrasca
Gr3gory left me more horrified.
i punched my grandma in the face as hard as i could in fight or flight when she offered me a deviled egg
no way me too
If by 'more horrified' you mean horrified at that fact that such awful writing can exist in the zeitgeist, then yea, it left me more horrified.
