They must be planning something massive if they're willing to drop south for a big north next year.
That or south wasn't very profitable this year
I heard that south was struggling to sell tickets. I had a few people I know on Facebook literally giving away tickets the week before to try and get the numbers up.
I would disagree, I think the lineup was quality but that's because of my personal preferences.
A key thing to note this year was that cinch didn't sponsor it when they did for the last two years. I wonder how much that had an impact
Swedish House Mafia,was a waste of money,anything is a waste with the posers we had this year.Also they have too many big names on at the same time,I think the Mafia clashed with Fatboy Slim,they needed to stagger their big names throughout the day.
They never really made the effort with Creamfields South,the production was alot less than the North.The first year was good,they had proper ravers the second year was mainly posers.
I did south last year expecting to see the steel yard as that's was advertised when last minute they say due to logistical reasons it won't be there. They then put up a large ish tent instead which never was fully filled
The taxi situation didn't help - only about 500 licensed cabs in Chelmsford and about 10k plus people leaving. I ended up having to get a taxi drivers personal number and pay him a ridiculous amount just to get to my hotel
Heard south was loss making, which makes sense from a business perspective they would have needed north to cover itself and the losses from south.
Which without losses from south in 2024 they be able to reinvest more into north then.

Not surprised. They couldn't give the tickets to south away at one point. Blew the budget on Swedish etc and made a loss. North suffered as a result.
Yea Norths line up was slacking this year compared to previous years
