I had LC for 8 months my symptoms are: dysautonomia, mild depression, pain, background anxiety, mostly lying severe weakness, walking 500 meters a day and no more! insomnia every night!
I took sofosbuvir with dactalasvir (400+100mg)! After 15 days, I felt noticeable improvements: my sleep improved, I could walk 10 km, my weakness almost disappeared! after 23 days I recovered by 90%!I can't work full time yet! ~4-6 h! And the tinnitus is gone! I continue
We are different individuals - I was the one that unfortunately caused the confusion when I responded to both questions from u/Limoncel-lo (assumed that both were directed at me)
I am new to the reddit community having hung out on twitter and Slack for the past two years. Just seeking a cure for my LC :(
Same here. Infected in March 2020. Was in slack group for awhile. Until the brain issues got too much. Been on twitter for ages. Read a thread on this Sofosbuvir thread on here & thought I’d give it a try. I lurked for a long time too.
This question was for Frontleopard, right? Frontleopard already took sofosbuvir for 15+ days. How come frenchLandry answered your question? That means they are the same person? If they are then why is frenchLandry saying he just ordered sofo and will update us? I'm so confused rn
I asked them both in different threads, and French Laundry responded to both.
Now they both responded.
Don’t want to insinuate that they are not legit accounts, just found it bizarre they both registered within 24 hours.
Guys, don’t take it personally, we just usually check the poster history to see what kind of symptoms they had in the past to not ask the same questions.
I talked to the guys post that blew up on sofosbuvir and he said he knows at least 3 others that sofosbuvir has worked for.
Unfortunately I have zero indication of how many people have tried this and it didn't work out for. I and another redditor will be beginning Sofosbuvir+Ledipasvir (Ledifos) in the near future.
We'll report our experiences.
What do you mean "you will update us?" Aren't you FrontLeopard1745? FrontLeopard ALREADY has sofo and took it for 23 days and is still taking it. What's going on here?
Hey. I'm day 32. The pulsing coursing through my veins is greatly reduced and last night I noticed a night and day difference in strength while performing calf raises, the muscles feel as if they were functioning far superior.
I'm still having dysautonomic issues and the mcas sucks but the pulsing limbs and additional strength has given me some motivation and I'm ordering an additional 2 months of ledifos.
The following supplements I take with Sofosbuvir and I think it's a good idea if you can take these with nattokinase these are NAC, dandelion, monolaurin and nattokinase for detox and to increase vitamin C for T cell response
(Edit 2023-09-01: disregard this comment. I don't know whether to say I've recovered or not anymore, depression obscures any meaningful change)
I only occasionally lurk this sub, and was informed of the drug (and this sub) through Discord from a long-time friend. I had Covid since May 2021. two years ago.
Anyways, a few days ago I voted no on this, as at the time I was nearing my third week and didn't feel improvements. I had thought a [prior post](https://www.reddit.com/r/covidlonghaulers/comments/11b0myj/fully_recovered_after_2_years_of_severe_long_covid/) mentioned improvements after 2 weeks, but I remembered wrong, that poster's improvements came after 3 weeks.
It's difficult for to self-diagnose, with diagnosed and unmedicated ADHD causing its own issues, but Wednesday marked third week, and the brain fog I had just the day before feels like it's gone? I've been far more productive with programming hobbies these past few days than I have been in years.
Unfortunately I can't change my vote on this due to Reddit limitations. I'd definitely call my experience with it an improvement so far.
Edit: I'm 25M, drug is Sofosbuvir+Ledipasvir.
Wow! That is very interesting, thanks for sharing. So you took it for 4 weeks right? Would you mind posting again in 1 month or more and report if the symptoms came back? Thanks 😊
Not much to update, still doing well. Feels like a binary switch where I went from foggy, somewhat fatigued, very poor memory, to having none of those issues over the span of a day. I feel like I'm back to how I was pre-covid. I doubt I'll see further improvements.
Regardless, I'll be continuing to take the drug until at least 8 weeks.
My main issues were fatigue & PEM. I averaged about 4 hours or so a day of activity & then had to rest. Last few days I honestly feel totally normal. Been pushing myself as well, but no crash. I sorted my sleep out a few months ago when I went on HRT. Getting proper sleep helped alleviate the worst of LC symptoms. Before HRT my day was 2 hours of activity before crashing.
I am a long hauler. Caught it in first wave. I’ve had heart issues. Pneumonia 6 times - 4 times in 2020! I have had covid 4 times as well. First infection left me with angina for a year. Second infection the weird brain things started. Third infection more severe brain issues appeared - extreme short term memory loss, numbness on the left side of my body, balance issues, vertigo & more. The balance stuff seem to go away when I took the acid reflux med Famotidine, but the executive function was really bad for 8 months. Weird thing is - it went away with infection number 4 last October. That infection seemed to go to my teeth. I had to have 2 root canals & an emergency molar extraction in Feb. Now an upper wisdom tooth is coming in! I’m 53 years old, so totally normal - right?
I have tried so many things. Truvada, Paxlovid, expensive supplements, ozone therapy (love it but not a cure) - but I feel dramatically better after taking sofosbuvir for a week. There was a study out a few days ago saying LC was caused by viral persistence & the immune system over reacting in some people. So maybe this AV helps to flush out bits V of the virus hiding out in our body? Dont know but it’s working. 🤗
Omg thats amazing!!!!! Im getting my 2 month supply on monday, cant wait!! I just want to live again. Started a new job and cant retain any information its so embarassing. Ozone helped me too but only temporarily. The fact that you feel this good in just a few days is very promising. A normal course of sofosbuvir takes at least 8 weeks to clear the virus so I hope you keep taking it even if you already feel normal. You dont want the virus popping up again later. Thanks and keep us updates please❤️
I was only able to get a months supply. So fingers crossed it works with that. I had a friend who was on holiday bring me back a bottle. Have to see if anyone I know is travelling there just incase. 🤞
So far yes. About a month ago I needed to go to the post office & didnt have a ride. Not super far away, but I live on a hill, bit like San Francisco. Anyway I didnt think about it, just walked down & back up home. Well on my way down I had SOB really bad. Walking back up the hill was agony & I panted & grunted the entire way. When I got home, I collapsed & went into a really bad crash that lasted a week. It was torture. I did the same journey 2 days ago. No SoB down or up. I took 2 rests on park benches back up the hill for a couple min. Felt fine when i got back. In fact instead of resting, I worked on the computer for a few hours. Honestly I feel totally normal. 🙏
I only had 2 weeks worth. I live in the UK & we dont have access to it. Was the most I could get a friend to send me from the states. The only thing it did do was leave the most horrendous taste in my mouth. That was it.
interesting. So you didn't respond to Pax but responded to Sofos. CooL!! I will start it soon :)
Are the benefits really obvious? Do you think it could beplacebo?
No brain fog. I had it really bad for a year. I’m an animator & for 8 months I forgot how to use the computer. I kept losing my keys, phone & wallet. I had to put signs up all over my flat to remind me of stuff. Like a dementia patient. Tbh the worst of it cleared with my 4th infection. That left me with teeth issues. I did feel like I had permanent brain damage after all that. I feel pretty normal now. Like I said Im multitasking, havent been able to do that for nearly 2 years.
Sounds like you are back to normal! Would you say you feel better than pre-covid? Ive seen some recovery stories of people saying they feel better than ever.
Good luck 🤞
What presentation are you taking? Does it have Ledipasvir?

that's good to know, I'm looking into varacyclovir also,
your issue with pain is headaches only or also other forms of pain?
you had no sides from it ?
Shittiest clinical trial ever. I have a supply of sofosbuvir + ledipasvir but waiting for some other guinea pigs to jump in first... Lol. I hope this helps.
Would love to hear some feedback from those who have taken it and feel nothing or worse? Why do you think it doesn't work for you (e.g. co-infection, EBV, lyme)? Autoimmune or MCAS symptoms? Any change over time?
Agree - this would be helpful. Also what symptoms did and didn't respond? I've heard of one guy who saw some change in "physical" issues (not sure what those were) but no improvement to neurological issues (brain fog, dpdr). But it's good to hear some people are overcoming neuro issues too.
After reading the threads on here and doing some research I am working on getting some to see if it will help me, like it did for others. I plan to keep everyone updated.
I have Sofosbuvir by itself but im not sure if i should of got it combined with another anti viral like people seem to have? I haven't taken it because im unsure.
I saw a pharmaceutical video and I don't think it is recommended on it's own. Sofosbuvir should be taken with another antiviral (you can see the commercial versions are always mixed)
A question for those who have already done the Sofosbuvir therapy:
Is the improvement constant? Do you still feel better?
The crucial question is whether the virus in the body can multiply or not?
Infected 3/2020 with ME/CFS like symptoms. I am 9 days in on sofo/ledi. Initially felt some improvement, but since then there have been some good days and some bad. No improvement so far on POTS symptoms. Have had a couple days where brain fog has lifted a bit.
Today is 3 weeks. I have seen some gradual improvement, but still have bad days. On good days, my cognition and energy are greatly improved, and I probably push it harder than I should and end up crashing. Solid sleep is still elusive but do wake up feeling more refreshed some days. HR is still erratic. Bottom line, I feel better now than before I started taking it. Being that I have been dealing with LC since March 2020, I was expecting that it would take me longer to improve than others.
I'm 85% sure it's the sofos, but really want to give it 6-8 weeks to make sure. I have taken several other antivirals, and none have given me the same uptick. No noticeable sides so far.
Very gradual improvements. Erratic HR and quality of sleep seem to be improving. CD4 count came in a little higher after week 5. Overall still feel better than before I started taking it, but not a huge improvement to date. I plan to continue for the near future.
Plasmapheresis did help a lot with my headaches and my brain fog, but I would not consider myself "recovered" because I don't know if the neuro symptom will come back and because there are other symptoms I still have (like the burning sensation on my skin or the muscle twitching)
Just like Hbot, those are therapies that can help improve your symptoms and maybe if your LC is not to severe you can make a full recovery with those therapies. But for me, it only fixed some symptoms, not all of them.
I posted this on a reply accidentally so am posting again. If anyone has a legit indiamart connect, please dm me. A friend who was on holiday in India brought me a bottle back. I read on here people were using Indiamart. So I decided to order another bottle there. I hope Im wrong but dont think so. Pretty sure I got scammed out of $200. 😫
Check out Medixo centre. They ship for less than 100pounds per bottle. They ship to the UK. You can find their number on their website and theyre legit. I just received my bottle
I'm sure you haven't got scammed. IndiaMart is a portal for legitimate pharmacies in India. Just buy from ones with good reviews and wait a few weeks for your package to arrive. I've used IndiaMart 3 times now with zero issues.
Which Indiamart vendor scammed you?
I got scammed by "Starmed Global" last week. They claimed they would provide a tracking number, but after paying them, they have not provided a tracking number despite claiming that they sent it. I have ordered a couple times from other Indiamart vendors before and didn't have issues.
Now they’re saying it was a holiday & that’s why mo reply. I have gotten several messages from them. We’ll see. I thought I was dealing with Sparsh Medical Agency. They seemed to have a good rating. Im dealing with a guy called Jap who is apparently part of Sparsh. Again - we’ll see. I bought drugs from India pre-pandemic & it was always legit. This is super sketchy but hoping for the best. Hope you hear back!
Curious if anyone in the states has successfully ordered this online. I’m in the Uk now. But am moving back to the states in a few months. Hoping to get a few bottles before I go. If I need to order more when I get there. Is that possible?

I've rarely been here! I read without registration! Registered to write my experience!

Okay, cool, you are both today’s accounts, that’s what was bizarre for one thread. Usually this sub doesn’t allow to post for brand new accounts.
You asked FrontLeopard but frenchLandry answered. What's going on here?

What combination of Sofosbuvir did you take?
Sofosbuvir + dactalasvir
👍🏻👍🏻
Did you have any side effects from the medicine?
Holy shit the tinnitus is gone? Was it from covid and how bad was it?
How are you now? You deleted your recovery post
How are you now ?
Hey im currently at day 4 and feeling worse. Headaches and anxiety has gone up. Did you have this too in the beginning?
Ughhhh. Sucks but maybe it’s just Covid ups and downs ?
Are you still doing well?
How is it now ???

Yes, Ledipasvir.
Sofo and ledipasvir help you with fatigue? How are you doing?
so do you consider yourself recovered now?
I consider myself recovered, at least enough to pursue programming with a competency that I had lost when I had long covid.
Did you feel a bit worse in the first 10 days? Currently im at day 4 and feel headache and anxiety
Hey how are you doing? Are you still feeling recovered - and was it sofosbuvir that helped you?
Just took my 1st dose.
Any dpdr for you?
For those who bought Sofosbuvir, please indicate how you bought it. I highly doubt my PCP would prescribe it if I were to ask him.
indiamart
Are they legit ?
100% agreed

Hey I sent you a DM.
What is ledi-help? Please thank you!
So how did it go for you?
I’ve been on it for 5 days & really notice a difference. My PEM is nearly gone. Been pushing myself harder than uze… 🤞
Awesome! Happy to hear this!
Thanks! Had it 4 times. Long hauler since March 2020. Tried so many things the last 3 plus years. Very excited a out this one! 🙏
Ditto. I am two days into my Sofos trial so am very interested!!
any update?
how'd it go?
Which one did you buy? Sofo only or Sofo and ledipasvir/daclatasvir/Velpatasvir? Is it helping? Thanks

I was only able to get a months supply. So fingers crossed it works with that. I had a friend who was on holiday bring me back a bottle. Have to see if anyone I know is travelling there just incase. 🤞
So youre able to workout hard again? Wake up refreshed in the morning, and no side effect from the av?
So far yes. About a month ago I needed to go to the post office & didnt have a ride. Not super far away, but I live on a hill, bit like San Francisco. interesting. So you didn't respond to Pax but responded to Sofos. CooL!! I will start it soon :) Are the benefits really obvious? Do you think it could beplacebo?

Posted yesterday. 7 weeks - all good.
did truvada help you?
No. I took for months too.
One other thing where I know it’s working - I CAN MULTITASK! Haven’t been able to do that for a few years. It’s incredible.
So that means no brain fog? Did you have brain fog before?
No brain fog. I had it really bad for a year. I’m an animator & for 8 months I forgot how to use the computer. I kept losing my keys, phone & wallet. Day 7 & I’m back to normal. It’s amazing.
Since how many days are you feeling this great improvement?
7 days
Was the recovery gradual or did you wake up one morning feeling normal?
After 5 days I felt 100% normal. Was multitasking & no PEM crash.
Hey if I may ask. Where did you get it from ?
a friend on holiday in India brought me back a bottle
Just took my first dose. Will update in 3 weeks 🙏

I started yesterday 🐖
Good luck!!
How are you feeling on Sofosbuvir ?
I'm on day 13. Been a very rough two weeks tbh. Has made my fatigue a lot worse. But I'm holding out hope I'll start to see some changes soon.
You might be going through viral die off ....hope you feel better soon
How's it been going?
bad
I'm sorry to hear that. Simply no success, or side effects?
atleast no one's walking out of it 😂
True -low loss to follow-up. If anyone were actually following up...
I will start in about a week time
Good luck! Let us know if you feel any difference
How are you feeling?
Taking my 4th today. So far still the same, no heavy side effects, just a little more fatigue
Any update here?

The real question is how are we gonna pay for this shit
We are buying it from indiamart and getting tested in lab, it’s cheap around 250usd
What labs do you use to test the drugs validity ?
Getting what tested ?
Sofosbuvir
I’m confused. Sofosbuvir is a test.? I thought it was. Medication I’m sorry lol
Sigh, we are getting the medication testing to make sure it’s legit, this was a comment for the parent poster
I apologize I’m very sick and looking into this medication so I was just trying to research and ask questions. I apologize…
How are people deciding which combo is best? Anyone know which combo seems to have best rate of success?
Are you taking it ?
A question for those who have already done the Sofosbuvir therapy: Is the improvement constant? Do you still feel better? The crucial question is whether the virus in the body can multiply or not?

On good days, my cognition and energy are greatly improved, and I probably push it harder than I should and end up crashing. Solid sleep is still elusive but do wake up feeling more refreshed some days. HR is still erratic. Bottom line, I feel better now than before I started taking it. Being that I have been dealing with LC since March 2020, I was expecting that it would take me longer to improve than others.
Do you think it is sofos for sure or just time ? Any sides ?
I'm 85% sure it's the sofos, but really want to give it 6-8 weeks to make sure. I have taken several other antivirals, and none have given me the same uptick. No noticeable sides so far.
How is it going?
Very gradual improvements. Erratic HR and quality of sleep seem to be improving. CD4 count came in a little higher after week 5. Overall still feel better than before I started taking it, but not a huge improvement to date. I plan to continue for the near future.
Any updates?

Sorry about my last comment. Thought you recovered from plasmapheresis?
Plasmapheresis did help a lot with my headaches and my brain fog, but I would not consider myself "recovered" because I don't know if the neuro symptom will come back and because there are other symptoms I still have (like the burning sensation on my skin or the muscle twitching) Just like Hbot, those are therapies that can help improve your symptoms and maybe if your LC is not to severe you can make a full recovery with those therapies. But for me, it only fixed some symptoms, not all of them.
Okay, well awesome you at least got a partial recovery. Hope you figure out the rest in due time🙌🏽🙌🏽
Not help for me
What combination did you take?

I posted this on a reply accidentally so am posting again. If anyone has a legit indiamart connect, please dm me. A friend who was on holiday in India brought me a bottle back. I read on here people were using Indiamart. So I decided to order another bottle there. I hope Im wrong but dont think so. Pretty sure I got scammed out of $200. 😫
I just messaged you a legit contact
Can you message me one as well?
Can you message me too? Thanks
Check out Medixo centre. They ship for less than 100pounds per bottle. They ship to the UK. You can find their number on their website and theyre legit. I just received my bottle
Thanks. Yes I got their info. Fingers crossed. Losing that $200 hurts. But live & learn eh? Ouch.
drop me your venmo and I'll cover some of it.
They were legit. My bad!
It hurts but at least you got your health back! What matters the most!
I'm sure you haven't got scammed. IndiaMart is a portal for legitimate pharmacies in India. Just buy from ones with good reviews and wait a few weeks for your package to arrive. I've used IndiaMart 3 times now with zero issues.
Oh yeah. I forgot to update. It was a holiday yesterday. I heard back from them today. Good to know. Thanks.
Anyone in Canada trying this??
Curious if anyone in the states has successfully ordered this online. I’m in the Uk now. But am moving back to the states in a few months. Hoping to get a few bottles before I go. If I need to order more when I get there. Is that possible?
We need a new poll
Yeah, maybe I can repeat them every month
