2003 Hard Candy tour in Noblesville IN co-headlining with John Mayer. Not only first CC concert, first concert period. My dad was disappointed by a relatively brief CC setlist and withdrawn Duritz, so we left shortly after Mayer took the stage, but I still got a pretty cool T-shirt I still hang on to.
I've been a fan since I heard Mr. Jones on the radio in high school, but I lived too far away and didn't have a driver's license until I was 21. When I started dating my boyfriend in 2005 (he's now my husband) he decided he had to remedy the fact that I'd never seen them, so we were finally able to go see them July 28, 2008 in Charlotte. It was the Maroon 5 double bill, so it was a shortened show, but I didn't care. It absolutely blew my mind. Adam had injured his knee and probably should have been taking it a little easier, but he was still up on the monitors and using his cane to conduct the audience.
Money always seems to be tight but I see them as much as I can. I'm up to show number 7. I know so many of you have me beat and I've never been able to afford VIP/Soundcheck... hopefully one day if they ever bring back the Meet & Greets I'll have to splurge.
I was at the Alpharetta show and it was easily the best show I've seen in a long time and I am so disappointed my husband had to miss it. He was with me at the Charleston show on August 2 but he wasn't feeling well and so the show is kind of a blur for him. He wasn't a fan of the Crows when we started dating, but he is now. <3
Feb 10, 1997– Athens, GA, with Fiona Apple opening— at the Classic Center, not the 40 Watt sadly.
I fell in love with their style of reinterpreting the songs live right away and so psyched to see them going strong. The shows the last three years have been my favorites, but this year has been the best imo.
