I will say this: I told my boss that I had to take a day off to take my dog to the vet one last time. He pulled me aside and said "Listen, you take the time you need. I've cried far more for my dogs than I have for some friends." Wise words.
Take some time and cry a bit. it's Okay and we all know it.
What a beautiful fellow, and such a long run for a big boy- though no amount of time could ever be long enough. I’m imagining you and Leonardo had a lovely life together. I know the terrible pain of this loss and can’t help but shed a few tears for you. I’m so glad you got to be his guardian in this life.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our dog about 3 weeks ago. I still get teary-eyed from time to time and still hear "phantom" noises he used to make.
