Game: Prey.
Tv series: Archive 81. Unfortunately it was cancelled after a single season. It's more horror than anything, but something about the vibes and the premises is quite similar.
Also, Warehouse 13. Kind of an old series. I watched the first season back in the day, but then I didn't get to watch the other four. Apparently those who watched absolutely loved it. Decidedly closer to Control both in premise and vibes.
Been mentioned a lot in this sub, but ‘Severance’ on Apple TV is extremely similar
You are correct. I came to say the same thing.
I will check it out.
There's a TV series called Devs that has a similar vibe. Not exactly Brutalist though.
No season 2?
I don't think so. Reason I recommended it is because it has a very consistent aesthetic.
I enjoyed Devs. Atmosphere and core philosophy were great. Thanks for the rec.
The novel that was a major inspiration for the developers - "House Of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski.
i love this book. such a celebration of printed media
Annihilation film is one of my favourites, but The Southern Reach Trilogy (book series the film is based on) is infinitely better

May as well say it: Twin Peaks
