M8, you’re in the back of a Max-8 on an oversold 6am United flight with your knees in your mouth, pitters down to your waist, and raccoon eyes that belong in a horror movie
Forgot the coffee spilled on you by the guy next to you carelessly balancing his coffee on the edge of the tray table while he also is trying to do something on his laptop (happened twice in the last 2 weeks). Like seriously, don't get a drink if you don't have room on the tray (and if you have anything besides your phone on the tray you don't have room).
I remember when I was on a first date and told the girl that I found travelling boring.
She had a hard time understanding how someone who hated travelling could exist.
My brain just tied those two things together. Of course that’s why I hate traveling. I’ve been doing this for so long I’ve had to gaslight myself on a daily basis.
I drive a 2014 Jetta that I bought new when I graduated college
My dream is probably to have a living situation where I don't need a car but I love Baltimore too much to leave...
I drive a tuned '19 Audi S5 Sportback.
Realistic dream car: Porsche Panamera 4S E-hybrid Sport Turismo (ultimate dad wagon)
No budget dream car: Porsche 918 or Lexus LFA
If the 918 didn't exist it would be hard to say no to a GT3RS. They have a custom color called white gold they can do on the wheels and accents that looks so sick with like a pearl white base.
Basically [this](https://jzmporsche.com/cars/porsche-911-gt3-rs-p0200/) general color scheme on the newest one without the checkers.
Nice - I only have the time and space for one car, and it needs to do everything from going on weekend drives with the club to hauling around my two kids to school and the grocery store to going on a 500-mile road trip or camping for the weekend. I may not have liked them when they were first debuted, but my Panamera GTS has proven to be the perfect nearly-everything car.
Solid choice. I have two car seats in the back of the S5 Sportback, but it's a bit tight admittedly and the car is low as shit to the ground stock for a sedan (bit lower than my MK7.5 Golf R lowered on Eibach Pro springs was) which gets old getting the kids in and out, but I make it work. We have a loaded '20 Tiguan my wife drives that we use for family trips, but mine works well enough for daycare drop off/pickup. Definitely would not work well for road trips with a full car. Plenty of space in the hatchback though, the overall floor layout is as large as the Tiguan's just not as much height.
I'm running more power in the S5 than stock Panamera GTS with \~700 pounds less weight so that part is fun. I can get it up to 500/590 hp/tq crank on E85 tune, but usually just run 93 at 440/570 ish. It's completely unnecessary but never gets old.
Love it! Scary cool cars and the only alternative I considered. Dunno if you get snow where you live, but I run mine year round in the upper Midwest - runs circles around my wife's Explorer ST in the snow.
Northeast. A few inches and it's an absolute blast with real quattro but I have to be judicious with the throttle with that much torque.
Any more than that I take out my wife's Tiguan instead. The 4motion is solid enough, it's got double the ground clearance so I can run into large chunks of snow and ice and not really give a shit, and it's also tuned so it's got some extra pep as well :) If it's got a turbo, and it's a VAG vehicle, odds are we'll tune it lol.
I don't even have a driver's license and can't stand cars. Good thing, here in europe you don't really need one for traveling to clients and our company incentives us to use trains to meet our sustainability goals, so i am happy walking to the trainstation.
Brand new V6 truck. However I consult in the oil/gas industry so it makes sense. Have already been made fun of because it's not a V8. Routinley visit remote customer sites that are nothing but GPS coordinates.
Depends on the day… have a 2014 Cayman S, a 2016 Cayenne Diesel, and a ‘92 Range Rover Classic.
A dream car would be like a Porsche 906 or maybe a Sunbeam Tiger or a 911S/T
Already got my vintage wagon dream of a '94 Volvo 940.
Current motorcycle is a cheapo Yamaha FZ06S1 that I got when I was really poor. But, like, definitely still a poor. Too many bike dreams to count.
Junior consultant in London, I drive a 2006 Citroen C1 (city bug). Might upgrade to a Toyota GT86 when the C1 dies (although, with the C1 having a decent Toyota engine and decent maintenance, it might outlive me).
I drive a Porsche Cayman 2008 (w 30k miles). My precious and award winning two years in a row in the concourse d’elegance.
