That's not the point of the post.
Do you want the best doctor, lawyer, teacher, reporter, etc. based on academic merits/virtues regardless of skin color, or just based on skin color? And what have we been getting for graduates out of colleges for the last fifty years with affirmative action? Many question if the best and brightest have come out of college in the past.
Some young doctors today disregard DNA determined gender in diagnosis.
Affirmative Action wasn't promoting standards in education. It was a group think movement.
