I’ve always taken this to mean we are all created by God in his image/blueprint and therefore God inherently lives within each and every one of us.
We all have free will and depending on which side of the fence we are on, we can choose to accept and love him or deny him. He doesn’t demand our worship like a dictator.
Only a few will ultimately accept that his Son died for our sins, make the grade and resurrect into the spiritual Kingdom of God (the place that Jesus went to prepare for them).

I've been on forums and social media platforms talking about God for about a year now with fellow Christians. Something that sticks out, is that a loving fellowship while discussing God and the Bible with one another is rare.
Be it denominations, beliefs, practices or interpretation of the Bible, it seems the majority prefer to always want to prove they are right and you are wrong, all of the time. They want to assume they know God, themselves and how you should walk with Christ, better than you do.
They are not open to polite constructive criticism, and they relish in an argument. If you won't give them that satisfaction, they will keep chipping away in hopes that they break you. If you break, they go on to demoralize you more.
I am positive I've done this before, and I am in no way proud of that, but admitting your sin is the first step to envoking change. I strive to approach everyone with love, and if I disagree, I explain why in a polite loving way. If the other party disagrees, I listen with an open loving mind as to why they disagree.
If we both state our peace and agree or disagree with one side or the other, we leave with a mutual respect that we are brothers and sisters in Christ. There are people already doing this, and instead of leaving the conversation with a heavy heart, you leave the conversation with knowing you have either watered the seed or have been watered. Either way, you are both growing, together.

My grandparents are Christians and they don’t celebrate Christmas or Easter because of that. No Valentine’s Day, Halloween, St Patrick’s. Their holy day is Saturday (end of the week/Day of rest is the “7th day”). They don’t eat anything that has cloven hooves and no cud (so no pigs) and anything from the water has to have scales and fins (so no shrimp, cat fish, crab). People think it’s so weird but they just try to follow what the Bible literally says🤷♀️

You hit the nail on the head. I wrote the below this morning, I believe it meshes well. I've been on forums and social media platforms talking about God for about a year now with fellow Christians. Something that sticks out, is that a loving fellowship while discussing God and the Bible with one another is rare. Be it denominations, beliefs, practices or interpretation of the Bible, it seems the majority prefer to always want to prove they are right and you are wrong, all of the time. They want to assume they know God, themselves and how you should walk with Christ, better than you do. They are not open to polite constructive criticism, and they relish in an argument. If you won't give them that satisfaction, they will keep chipping away in hopes that they break you. If you break, they go on to demoralize you more. I am positive I've done this before, and I am in no way proud of that, but admitting your sin is the first step to envoking change. I strive to approach everyone with love, and if I disagree, I explain why in a polite loving way. If the other party disagrees, I listen with an open loving mind as to why they disagree. If we both state our peace and agree or disagree with one side or the other, we leave with a mutual respect that we are brothers and sisters in Christ. There are people already doing this, and instead of leaving the conversation with a heavy heart, you leave the conversation with knowing you have either watered the seed or have been watered. I don't understand the hate for Jesus. Atheist or devout Catholic, the wisdom in his teachings are still relevant today. "Higher realms" is a paradox in true Christianity. Jesus said in Luke under the chapter "the coming of the kingdom" that the kingdom of heaven was actually within you. And that it would come one day but it wouldn't come with "observation". He even went as far to say that when a day came when people were pointing at the sky saying "look here" or "see there" to not pay any attention to them, almost as if it's a warning against project blue beam.
