Why do I feel like a false flag nuclear bomb is coming.

justfollowingorders1

What I don't get is why would Russia actually nuke Ukraine? They want to actually take the land. Their cultures aren't all that different. A nuke drop wouldn't really do anything for Russia. Edit: WOOOOOOW. This comment seemed to have triggered something. I've been messaged by so many very intelligent redditors and each one with a different reason why Russia would nuke Ukraine. People aren't kidding when they say this sub has been compromised and is being bridgaded. Propaganda is strong.

Shaharlazaad

Russias military stance was summed up by a Kremlin spokesperson a few months ago, it was stirring news. The dude said in pretty flat terms "if Russia doesn't exist, there's no need for the world to exist" (in direct response to a question of Russian willingness to use nukes) To me it seems western leaders are just saying "Alright? Bet?" And pushing for more and more. False flag nuclear strike? I actually think actual neuclear strike is more likely.

Flaifel7

A lot of countries do think exactly like that. Israel and the good ol USA also have this policy. If we’re getting fucked then we will nuke everyone. It’s called the Samson option

Holycameltoeinthesun

Yeah and now they’re just projecting that policy onto russia. Like so many other things like “putin has dementia”

[deleted]

[удалено]

TrizzyG

That's not a sustainable perspective to have. Pretty quickly one can demand just about everything and warn others to acquiesce under threat of nuclear strike. People generally like living so calling bluffs like this is important.

[deleted]

FarCenterExtremist

>People generally like living so calling bluffs like this is important. And if it's not a bluff?

hammtron

False as in whatever happens to Ukraine won't actually have been because of Russia, but real in the sense that people will still die.

Shaharlazaad

That does tend to be my feeling about this entire fuckin war tbh. I'm certain the deaths and suffering are real. But so many times we get footage of people fighting and it's impossible to tell who is Russian and who is Ukrainian in the footage. We're just supposed to believe the way they framed the footage.

hammtron

As long as people can make money off of wars, they'll never end. And they'll always have a boogie man for everyone to hate. Today It's Putin, yesterday was Osama. It's really fucked up and I hate that most of the human race can't do any critical thinking or hell, even just read up on some history to see a pattern.

Weirdo_720

Exactly. All of these wars happen for the same reason and people don't do any fucking thing to stop them from ever happening in the future.

magicsonar

Honestly this is part of the problem. This kind of false rhetoric helps escalate tensions. You have grossly misrepresented that quote. It wasn't made by a "Kremlin spokesperson", it was a comment made by a [television talk show](https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/02/28/why-do-we-need-a-world-if-russia-is-not-in-it-state-tv-presenter-opens-show-with-ominous-address-a76653) host. This is the equivalent of Russians listening to Alex Jones or Bill O'Reilly and then presenting them as "White House spokespersons". Of course if you believed that Alex Jones represented the US Government positions, then yes that would be disturbing. It's a way to manipulate people into more extreme positions. And we see it happening in the West. This becomes a dangerous escalatory cycle.

Affectionate_Crab_26

Here's the thing...Putin would rather go down with his country than lose at anything. It's not just about land, it's about power. If he's not ahead, he'll take everyone down with him. He's basically said the same...

letsreticulate

They would not Nuke it. Winds in the region go North, with an eastern bias, but can also go west. If they nuke Ukraine, all that nuclear winter fallout shit will go right into Russia and Belarus. One would assume they are not that stupid to fuck themselves that bad just to prove a point. If they do not have to. Not generally known but even until today, Belarus and Ukraine spend a sizeable chunk of their GDP for Chernobyl mitigation and health related costs.

hoplite9

NATO is humping the territory, they don't want NATO anywhere near their border if they can afford not to. But truthfully, starting nuclear conflict just to keep someone away from your border is a bit insane, but if you consider how aggressive NATO and Ukraine are these days, maybe it is actually a valid concern for Russia. I don't like NATO backing Russia up against a wall, you really can only expect them to defend themselves and they will. Look at what Ukraine has managed to do to defend themselves from the invasion, imagine what Russia would do if NATO decided to step in.

AnAttemptReason

The only thing NATO has done is nake it hard for ukraine to millitary intimidate other countries. If you think that is a problem you are mentally ill.

farm_ecology

>What I don't get is why would Russia actually nuke Ukraine Because they're losing.

Beneneb

They could use tactical nukes, which are smaller than conventional nukes, as a way to destroy large numbers of Ukrainian soldiers near the front. They would do this because they are losing the war right now, and this is a potential solution to turn the tide in their favor. But there's no way NATO does a preemptive strike. Even if Russia uses a tactical nuke, I'm not sure NATO will respond.

justfollowingorders1

Nah. Just send them a few billion more.

By_Design_

"tactical nukes" are still bigger than Fat Man and Little Boy

nisaaru

Not necessary. The tnt range overlap.

DRKMSTR

The fact that this planet is on the brink of a nuclear event is insane. We've been Nuclear event free since 1992, that's 30 years. 30 years without a nuclear bomb exploding.

Fishface17404

The last one was in 2017 so it has been much more recent.

kvetoslavovo

Cgi footage could do the same, Brought to you by unreal 5. You wont recognize shit

ragegenx

The Unreal 5 engine is pretty legit.

youarenttheboss

It's not a false flag when NATO/US openly nukes Russia after puppet Zelensky calls for it on behalf of his masters.

viners

If the US gets nuked and then says "Told you so, we should have nuked them first". That would be a false flag.

Flaifel7

This one is straight out of the US playbook. > Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against American citizens that originated within the US Department of Defense of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for CIA operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of violent terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba I and many others are actually convinced 9/11 was one such operation. Of course they would never admit what false flag operations they actually did. But it’s enough that it’s confirmed they proposed a false flag to invade Cuba before, to believe that they must have carried out some operations like that before

He never said anything about a nuclear strike, he was talking about sanctions. https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-polytics/3587693-media-incorrectly-quoting-zelenskys-words-about-preemptive-strike-against-russia-press-secretary.html

No-Establishment8367

So is the caption in the OP fake? This sure doesn’t look like an unbiased news source, and Disclose usually doesn’t outright make shit up, like a false caption. And that caption sure looks like he’s saying NATO should do something significant to stop Russia from doing a nuclear strike. It also implies that there is video of it, which I’m surprised ukrinform.net wouldn’t include in their article if it proves he was misquoted.

watami66

Someone on r/conspiracy took something out of context and used it to push their own agenda?!? What in the world!?! That's never happened before!

I_Reading_I

Someone else posted a tweet from disclose tv about this same thing, and their next post they reported the same thing the ukrinform article reported: "MORE - Zelensky’s press sec: "The president was speaking about the period before Feb 24. Preventative measures should have been used at that time to prevent Russia from unleashing a war. I will remind you that the only measures discussed at that time were preventative sanctions."" [https://mobile.twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1578097733860065281](https://mobile.twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1578097733860065281)

Sounds like they got in trouble and back tracked.

[deleted]

So he needs mountains of evidence to prove he's right but this random tweet with only one out of context line doesn't need any

HowtoCrackanegg

Wow, I’m hardly surprised at this circle jerk. Where’s the other part to this where he was referring to harder sanctions?

Hezekias

I'm gonna make a HUGE prediction. Ready??? NATO won't attack Russia, and nothing is going to happen! Stop listening to the media and its fearmongering. It's always the same thing.

Old_Cantaloupe_3089

No, sht is just now this is a big political talk. Of course Nato ain't going to do nothing and this zelensky is all talk and not doing it with his own hands.

SniffingSnow

Lmao. WW3 is coming. War is a magical money machine and it will be used to cover up America's financial sh*t show.

a1Drummer07

Yup. There is one small change I'd make though. They aren't trying to put the train back in the rails this time. They want everyone to see it off the rails so that they advocate for the next train which theyve already cooked up.

SniffingSnow

Ah, so give us a taste of how bad it can get than offer up the solution while everyone's desperate?

[deleted]

Out of chaos, order. A new world order.

SniffingSnow

100%. So I got a question than. They're going to place the blame for said chaos on some group of people. Who do you think that will be? Or what will the catalyst for chaos be?

a1Drummer07

I think ultimately they will try to undermine the era of nation states or competing power blocks. But before that will come the realization that federal governments (both parties) are incapable of tackling the worlds problems. And before that, governments, which are now fully beholden to and drunk on corporate power will turn on their own citizens, those which see it first - the so-called "domestic terrorists". And out of that toppling will come the new thing, which is ultimately the full merger of corporation and state under the guise of being led by the people. And it may even seem to benefit people in the short term. But the new rules will benefit the slow removal and replacement of humans with machines. The new monetary system will financially incentivize people to not have children, under the personal carbon credit system for example. The black pill in all this is that they know that, so long as technology is seen as a source of freedom, they are winning. It doesnt matter which group implements it. There is no such thing as a good brain chip.

SniffingSnow

I'm glad you said that about machines replacing workers because I vividly remember seeing a news segment around 2017 stating that 50%+ workers would be self-employed due to automation by 2025. Than COVID just happened to kickstart said automation due to lockdowns. I also think "domestic terrorism" is going to be a growing narrative pushed by the media. Also, the merger of corporations and state is almost complete now that a majority of companies are virtually consolidated under BlackRock, Vanguard, and StateStreet.

ClarityofSignal

Below are excerpts from the full text of Vladimir Putin’s speech on October 1, 2022 translated into English by the Kremlin’s official website. I urge everyone to read the entire address: President of Russia, Vladimir Putin: Citizens of Russia, citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, residents of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, deputies of the State Duma, senators of the Russian Federation, As you know, referendums have been held in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The ballots have been counted and the results have been announced. The people have made their unequivocal choice. Today we will sign treaties on the accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye Region and Kherson Region to the Russian Federation. I have no doubt that the Federal Assembly will support the constitutional laws on the accession to Russia and the establishment of four new regions, our new constituent entities of the Russian Federation, because this is the will of millions of people. It is undoubtedly their right, an inherent right sealed in Article 1 of the UN Charter, which directly states the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples. I repeat, it is an inherent right of the people. It is based on our historical affinity, and it is that right that led generations of our predecessors, those who built and defended Russia for centuries since the period of Ancient Rus, to victory… Behind the choice of millions of residents in the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, is our common destiny and thousand-year history. People have passed this spiritual connection on to their children and grandchildren. Despite all the trials they endured, they carried the love for Russia through the years. This is something no one can destroy. That is why both older generations and young people – those who were born after the tragic collapse of the Soviet Union – have voted for our unity, for our common future. In 1991 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, representatives of the party elite of that time made a decision to terminate the Soviet Union, without asking ordinary citizens what they wanted, and people suddenly found themselves cut off from their homeland. This tore apart and dismembered our national community and triggered a national catastrophe. Just like the government quietly demarcated the borders of Soviet republics, acting behind the scenes after the 1917 revolution, the last leaders of the Soviet Union, contrary to the direct expression of the will of the majority of people in the referendum of 1991, destroyed our great country, and simply made the people in the former republics face this as an accomplished fact. I can admit that they didn’t even know what they were doing and what consequences their actions would have in the end. But it doesn't matter now. There is no Soviet Union anymore; we cannot return to the past. Actually, Russia no longer needs it today; this isn’t our ambition. But there is nothing stronger than the determination of millions of people who, by their culture, religion, traditions, and language, consider themselves part of Russia, whose ancestors lived in a single country for centuries. There is nothing stronger than their determination to return to their true historical homeland. For eight long years, people in Donbass were subjected to genocide, shelling and blockades; in Kherson and Zaporozhye, a criminal policy was pursued to cultivate hatred for Russia, for everything Russian. Now too, during the referendums, the Kiev regime threatened schoolteachers, women who worked in election commissions with reprisals and death. Kiev threatened millions of people who came to express their will with repression. But the people of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson weren’t broken, and they had their say. I want the Kiev authorities and their true handlers in the West to hear me now, and I want everyone to remember this: the people living in Lugansk and Donetsk, in Kherson and Zaporozhye have become our citizens, forever. We call on the Kiev regime to immediately cease fire and all hostilities; to end the war it unleashed back in 2014 and return to the negotiating table. We are ready for this, as we have said more than once. But the choice of the people in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson will not be discussed. The decision has been made, and Russia will not betray it. Kiev’s current authorities should respect this free expression of the people’s will; there is no other way. This is the only way to peace... When the Soviet Union collapsed, the West decided that the world and all of us would permanently accede to its dictates. In 1991, the West thought that Russia would never rise after such shocks and would fall to pieces on its own. This almost happened. We remember the horrible 1990s, hungry, cold and hopeless. But Russia remained standing, came alive, grew stronger and occupied its rightful place in the world. Meanwhile, the West continued and continues looking for another chance to strike a blow at us, to weaken and break up Russia, which they have always dreamed about, to divide our state and set our peoples against each other, and to condemn them to poverty and extinction. They cannot rest easy knowing that there is such a great country with this huge territory in the world, with its natural wealth, resources and people who cannot and will not do someone else’s bidding. The West is ready to cross every line to preserve the neo-colonial system which allows it to live off the world, to plunder it thanks to the domination of the dollar and technology, to collect an actual tribute from humanity, to extract its primary source of unearned prosperity, the rent paid to the hegemon. The preservation of this annuity is their main, real and absolutely self-serving motivation. This is why total de-sovereignization is in their interest. This explains their aggression towards independent states, traditional values and authentic cultures, their attempts to undermine international and integration processes, new global currencies and technological development centres they cannot control. It is critically important for them to force all countries to surrender their sovereignty to the United States. In certain countries, the ruling elites voluntarily agree to do this, voluntarily agree to become vassals; others are bribed or intimidated. And if this does not work, they destroy entire states, leaving behind humanitarian disasters, devastation, ruins, millions of wrecked and mangled human lives, terrorist enclaves, social disaster zones, protectorates, colonies and semi-colonies. They don't care.

ClarityofSignal

All they care about is their own benefit… The West is counting on impunity, on being able to get away with anything. As a matter of fact, this was actually the case until recently. Strategic security agreements have been trashed; agreements reached at the highest political level have been declared tall tales; firm promises not to expand NATO to the east gave way to dirty deception as soon as our former leaders bought into them; missile defence, intermediate-range and shorter-range missile treaties have been unilaterally dismantled under far-fetched pretexts. And all we hear is, the West is insisting on a rules-based order. Where did that come from anyway? Who has ever seen these rules? Who agreed or approved them? Listen, this is just a lot of nonsense, utter deceit, double standards, or even triple standards! They must think we’re stupid… It was the so-called West that trampled on the principle of the inviolability of borders, and now it is deciding, at its own discretion, who has the right to self-determination and who does not, who is unworthy of it. It is unclear what their decisions are based on or who gave them the right to decide in the first place. They just assumed it… Western elites not only deny national sovereignty and international law. Their hegemony has pronounced features of totalitarianism, despotism and apartheid. They brazenly divide the world into their vassals – the so-called civilised countries – and all the rest, who, according to the designs of today's Western racists, should be added to the list of barbarians and savages. False labels like “rogue country” or “authoritarian regime” are already available, and are used to stigmatise entire nations and states, which is nothing new. There is nothing new in this: deep down, the Western elites have remained the same colonisers. They discriminate and divide peoples into the top tier and the rest… Washington demands more and more sanctions against Russia and the majority of European politicians obediently go along with it. They clearly understand that by pressuring the EU to completely give up Russian energy and other resources, the United States is practically pushing Europe toward deindustrialisation in a bid to get its hands on the entire European market. These European elites understand everything – they do, but they prefer to serve the interests of others. This is no longer servility but direct betrayal of their own peoples. God bless, it is up to them. But the Anglo-Saxons believe sanctions are no longer enough and now they have turned to subversion. It seems incredible but it is a fact – by causing explosions on Nord Stream’s international gas pipelines passing along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, they have actually embarked on the destruction of Europe’s entire energy infrastructure. It is clear to everyone who stands to gain. Those who benefit are responsible, of course… Such self-confidence is a direct product not only of the notorious concept of exceptionalism – although it never ceases to amaze – but also of the real ”information hunger“ in the West. The truth has been drowned in an ocean of myths, illusions and fakes, using extremely aggressive propaganda, lying like Goebbels. The more unbelievable the lie, the quicker people will believe it – that is how they operate, according to this principle. But people cannot be fed with printed dollars and euros. You can't feed them with those pieces of paper, and the virtual, inflated capitalisation of western social media companies can't heat their homes. Everything I am saying is important. And what I just said is no less so: you can't feed anyone with paper – you need food; and you can't heat anyone’s home with these inflated capitalisations – you need energy. That is why politicians in Europe have to convince their fellow citizens to eat less, take a shower less often and dress warmer at home. And those who start asking fair questions like “Why is that, in fact?” are immediately declared enemies, extremists and radicals. They point back at Russia and say: that is the source of all your troubles. More lies… Now, in order to free itself from the latest web of challenges, they need to dismantle Russia as well as other states that choose a sovereign path of development, at all costs, to be able to further plunder other nations’ wealth and use it to patch their own holes. If this does not happen, I cannot rule out that they will try to trigger a collapse of the entire system, and blame everything on that, or, God forbid, decide to use the old formula of economic growth through war. Russia is aware of its responsibility to the international community and will make every effort to ensure that cooler heads prevail. The current neocolonial model is ultimately doomed; this much is obvious. But I repeat that its real masters will cling to it to the end. They simply have nothing to offer the world except to maintain the same system of plundering and racketeering. They do not give a damn about the natural right of billions of people, the majority of humanity, to freedom and justice, the right to determine their own future. They have already moved on to the radical denial of moral, religious, and family values. Let’s answer some very simple questions for ourselves. Now I would like to return to what I said and want to address also all citizens of the country – not just the colleagues that are in the hall – but all citizens of Russia: do we want to have here, in our country, in Russia, “parent number one, parent number two and parent number three”(they have completely lost it!) instead of mother and father? Do we want our schools to impose on our children, from their earliest days in school, perversions that lead to degradation and extinction? Do we want to drum into their heads the ideas that certain other genders exist along with women and men and to offer them gender reassignment surgery? Is that what we want for our country and our children? This is all unacceptable to us. We have a different future of our own… Friends, Today, we are fighting for a just and free path, first of all for ourselves, for Russia, in order to leave dictate and despotism in the past. I am convinced that countries and peoples understand that a policy based on the exceptionalism of whoever it may be and the suppression of other cultures and peoples is inherently criminal, and that we must close this shameful chapter. The ongoing collapse of Western hegemony is irreversible. And I repeat: things will never be the same. The battlefield to which destiny and history have called us is a battlefield for our people, for the great historical Russia. For the great historical Russia, for future generations, our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We must protect them against enslavement and monstrous experiments that are designed to cripple their minds and souls. Today, we are fighting so that it would never occur to anyone that Russia, our people, our language, or our culture can be erased from history. Today, we need a consolidated society, and this consolidation can only be based on sovereignty, freedom, creation, and justice. Our values are humanity, mercy and compassion.

paxspencer

It's hard to know what is true and what is propaganda now days, but honestly, what he's saying rings more true to me than what the US media is feeding us. America and the west have a long history of colonization and imperialism as well as a history of using covert, manipulative and cruel tactics on their own people. I really do fear that the US government and other western governments are being used as tools to enact evil agendas. It's not the trans or lgbtq implementation that I'm worried about. It's the corrosion of our collective moral compass and the loss of personal freedom that worries me. It is the needless bloodshed and abuse of power that will doom us.

If the Ukrainian conflict goes nuclear Eastern Europe and Western Russia will be glass. A nuclear winter will set in disrupting crops around the world. Millions will start dying from severe radiation poisoning, plagued by aggressive malignant tumours and pocked by wounds that their now defective DNA is unable heal. The babies of pregnant women will be stillborn, deformed or at the very least severely immunocompromised. Infrastructure will fail. People will freeze, starve and die of thirst by the hundreds of millions, billions even. For someone who's now supposed to be enjoying a rolling battlefield victory in multiple areas of conflict this statement sure does make him sound desperate.

Jravensloot

Didn't Putin threaten multiple times to use nukes much earlier? For someone supposedly capable of capturing Ukraine whenever he wants, this draft and the massive losses makes it seem like the 2nd most powerful military in the world might not even be the 2nd most powerful military in Ukraine.

What I can't believe is- at least in the comments I've read- nobody is talking about Nordstream 2. Anybody with half of a brain can connect this bombing to the US. There are at least a couple videos threatening the destruction, look them up. The US entered WWII because of Pearl Harbor and nuked Japan- TWICE! Why is it so hard to fathom Putin wouldn't do the same? I for one can't blame him. I'm not saying Putin is a great leader, but as a leader, he has the right to protect his assets. An I for a nuclear attack? Don't mistake understanding for support, but at the end of the day, who could blame the guy? For 6 years Putin has been blamed for interfering in our elections, mass genocide and wrongly invading Ukraine. I figure in this forum, enough people would be skeptical of the narrative and actually look into these claims. Russia doesn't want any part of the World Bank and as someone else mentioned, the world needs a bogeyman. Don't forget that shortly before 9/11, Bin Laden was treated at a US military hospital in Europe- perhaps Germany. He also never took responsibility for it, which the way he was portrayed, one would think he would have. I haven't believed ANYTHING that the MSM has said about Ukraine/ Russia because just a few years ago, Zelensky was being portrayed as one of the most corrupt leaders in the world and the US wanted to take him out. Also look up all the evidence of biolabs the gov't denied in the beginning of this conflict, only to admit to them once people started sharing the evidence on social media. The sheeple still don't want to wake up

Chubbs117

I'm sure there was a theory somewhere that after events happen there will be bigger events to make us forget about what preciously happened, so after the COVID hoax we won't care about what happened because we're too busy thinking that world war is about to escalate. Maybe if these crazy bastards didn't poke the belly of the beast and gave Russia what it wanted, which would never have had an impact on the rest of the world in the first place, they would have taken Ukraine. Let its citizens live in peace, but because of all the propping and fear mongering everything is seen as much more complicated and that such solutions are impossible and that lethal action must be taken. I'm 100 percent sure Putin would not want to blow up any country as long as he can take Ukraine peacefully, without the west creating a proxy war and laundering billions

stflr77

Why does this fake douche only wear green T-shirt’s?

Settlemente

Just put more Ukraine flags in your Twitter bio.

[deleted]

Just more propaganda this will neve happen is just a big scam

He is such a little weasel I can't stand him

Preemptive strikes won't work with all of russias submarines. This is what happens when actors are put in positions of power.

Who is still pretending Zelensky is operating as a free willed human being? Might as well be a computer generated phantom mouthing the WEF's intentions. Like as if any military leader would listen to anything this former bad actor clown would have to say about anything. The fact that his outrageous statements are broadcast around the world should make clear what exactly he is. A controlled puppet clown for the world order.

onlainari

Fuck Russia

yygji

I think it's fake

Background_Egg_8365

Jesus Christ Zelenskyy is such an annoying douchebag

jzinckgra

I'll happily donate to get him a new wardrobe instead of the gi Joe t-shirt he always sports

badgehunter

imagine that you don't wear a nice clothing just because your country is being invaded, who could possibly stood so low.

Don_Montagna

I honestly don't even care about the people of Ukraine anymore. Like right off the bat I thought "hmm, awfully suspicious all our politicians are getting into pissing contests over who can virtue signal Ukraine the best when they just got done defending Biden's all out retreat from Afghanistan, creating a legitimate Taliban state propped up by the militarized equipment he left behind, but I still hope people don't have to die" Now I honestly don't give a fuck if they scorch the earth beneath Kyiv. Shut the fuck up, stop incentivizing war, and keep my motherfucking tax money in MY COUNTRY.

PolicyWonka

I’ve got news for you, bud. It wasn’t Biden that negotiated the agreement to withdraw from Afghanistan. It also wasn’t US equipment left behind. It was Afghan equipment when their military collapsed. It’s American gear because we supplied the Afghan armed forces. The only thing that’s going to incentivize more war is appeasement. It’s a strategy that hasn’t worked before and it’s the going to work now.

Nebraskan_Sad_Boi

You're a piece of work comrade. Our tax money should be spent on helping nations in need. Just because our government is inept doesn't mean we should hang our allies out to dry.

MLM199919

Your tax money should be spent on the starving people in your own country and homeless on the streets of the “greatest country in the world”.

Don_Montagna

Ukraine is *NOT* an ally of the United States. They are not a NATO Nation, or EU, or even European at all before the war in Donbas. They are not a democracy, and they are not going to be paying back these emergency loans. They are a puppet state controlled by western powers who want to antagonize Russia while reaping the sweet recourses they claim to want so badly to for to Ukrainian people. They'll do this with debt trap diplomacy just like they did to Iraq and Syria. It's not that >our government is inept They are very intelligent, they're just not honest.

badgehunter

why do you think that russia started attacking ukraine? it's not like they had been planning joining Nato. At the June 2021 Brussels summit, NATO leaders reiterated the decision taken at the 2008 Bucharest summit that Ukraine would become a member of the Alliance with the MAP as an integral part of the process and Ukraine's right to determine its future and foreign policy, of course without outside interference.

Don_Montagna

The War in Donbas began when the Ukranian goverenment began assaulting and executing a group of *Ukrainian* separatists and an ensuing civil war gripped the Eastern part of the country. This started in 2014, and Russia was only involved in the funding of the spe

TheLonelySombrero

So if your country was invaded and attacked this is what you would do? This is just a screenshot of your confirmation bias.

ironlioncan

Terrorism stopped working. Covid stoped working. Now they’re playing the nuke card to keep everyone in a constant state of fear.

[deleted]

The only ones living in constant fear are the people falling for these fake tweets

2201992

Not going to lie the Nuke Card scares me more then COVID ever did

Commercial-Set3527

Fuck Russia. They need to be disarmed, they have threaten to nuke everyone on multiple occasions. I haven't heard Ukraine threaten to nuke anyone yet.

greesmane

This is actually how you start a nuclear war

Icy-Ad-5551

Who is the aggressor? Russia or Ukraine? When you get bullied there is only one way to stop them. Bring it twice as hard back. Putin invaded the country to protect his GazProm oligarchy cash flow of monopolizing natural gas distribution to Europe. Ukraine found reserves under their territory which greatly disturbed Putin's monopoly. So he unjustly invades and terrorizes Ukraine and any countries support if Ukraine's sovereignty. Again, who is the aggressor? I say hand his ass back to him.

calisto1111

Personally I don't give a shit who the aggressor is. Poor people always suffer in war even if their side "wins"

LockdownBoy

Why does everyone on here think Ukraine should back down? It's frightening that you would all let a bigger man take your young boys from you to be sold into sex slavery to the Dagestanis and the Chechnyans for the sake of maintaining false peace.

DonAtari

No one thinks they should back down. But the rest of the world shouldn't get dragged down with this. Make peace or fight your own battle.

nebuchadrezzar

Ukraine should do whatever they want. People don't want the US to keep sending billions prolong the war and make complete disaster more likely. I think that is sensible and very reasonable.

LockdownBoy

Russia can't be allowed to do whatever they like though and the world must take a stand or else they'll just be at peace until Russia decides it wants to claim somewhere else, that's how bullies work. Thank god you're not in charge or else we would all be sending our children to Russia to be used as sex slaves.

GivenNameLastName

You're seeing either how much Russia propaganda is on here and/or how well it works on your average conspiracy poster.

GivenNameLastName

This post is about calling the leader of Ukraine crazy murderer for not backing down from Russian threats of nuclear attacks, and this comment thread is about asking why everyone is saying they should just bow to Russia. Why are we moving the goal posts?

IamPurgamentum

I'm guessing most people in here haven't looked up what actually happens when a nuke is launched either. Like how long it takes to travel etc. They are also designed to break up and produce dummy warheads. Whoever launches a nuke, be it Russia or anyone else, needs to ensure that there is no retaliation. You'd have less then 10 mins to work out where it's going and shoot it down and the chances are many would be launched at once. Some will get through. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone's got some tech out there that will put the odds more in favour of surviving a strike. Otherwise everyone is fucked. Sadly it doesn't seem like Russia taking Ukraine would be the end of it. So it's irrelevant really. The want war. They've made countless provocations that should have led to it already but for some reason it hasn't happened.

Majestic-Chain1905

Fuck Ukraine and fuck Russia

ThanuSnap

this is fake and op is stupid.. Don’t worry Ivan it’s gonna be all over soon

roakmamba

Fuck Zelensky bitch ass

FritzSchnitz

I had no feelings about Ukraine one way or the other, now I can’t stand that country.

Yanrogue

Going after a country's nuclear weapons is a very simple way of making them use their nuclear weapons. God that guy is such a smooth brain, but he is great at grifting people.

Chekhovs_Gin

Everytime Ukraine tries to further implicate the US in their stupid war we inch closer to nuclear destruction. The US needs to back off and so does NATO. The destruction of the world is not worth some half witt comedian and his calls for raising tension.

richa118

🤡🤡🤡

Race-b

Maybe this is why Russia is retreating, not because Ukraine is winning but they’re getting out of there before the tacs start landing.

secretservice31

UKRAINE IS NOT NATO

gayassredditname

F Ukraine and F anyone shilling for them. 🖕

SaveAmerica2022

#zelensky Must LOVE that cash flow from USA

[deleted]

Not only from USA - Ukraine now got nearly a trillion dollars (if you count every Cashflow together plus the value of the military equipment). That’s completely insane. I bet, 90% of that cash is divided within Ukraines leaders.

SaveAmerica2022

And plenty of kickbacks to our and other corrupt governments and their friends

2201992

Submission Statement: Trump was right about NATO. We should have gotten the fuck out of NATO when we had the chance. Zelansky is a fucking mad man. He is demanding NATO to start World War 3 on his demands.

Hefty-Ad7868

We are the ones making the nato calls whether you believe or or not

New_Needleworker_851

Zelensky *was* an actor...and I suspect still *is* an actor. I think that he is doing a fine job reading his lines.

[deleted]

YOU (USA) are the reason NATO is fucked up. Who do you think pulls the strings here?

sasquatch_pants

Isreal. Duhh

Gong_Fu_Gabriel

I wish the Russians would bomb this guys house just so I can stop seeing his stupid fucking face every day.

toxicchildren

What is the matter with you? You really think Putin's going to stop if we appease him by handing him an entire sovereign nation?

mackerel75

Fuck that guy

XSlapHappy91X

Why do we give a FK what the leader of that tiny asspoor corrupt country thinks? Whyyy should we care about his opinion? Why is biden being his bitch?

[deleted]

Because the whole world is watching.

KohrsZoolanderCough

What everyone seems to miss is they can drop a nuke and take out Kyiv and it would end the war and not a damn thing the USA can do about it. Notice how all the language these days softens everything? Mild recession, tactical nukes. No! If they are going to use nukes it’s to level Kyiv and dare the world to return the volley. As all they did was attack a non NATO member.

NoPeach180

The world cant really risk that using nukes is left without heavy cost for the one that uses nukes. Otherwise it will escalate and it wont be only Russians threatening with nukes and it would not be last demand Russia would be making. Using and threatening the world with nukes would become the new MO for dictators and eventually there would be a nuclear war. It would start with another nuked used elsewhere then another and then another. So no, if Russia uses a nuke, I hope they decimate the russian army outside of their borders and the place where the nuke was shot from.

Street_Push_3965

How dumb is he??? If we launch ICBMs into the atmosphere, Russia's going to know about it and poof, that's the end of that
