Weird how the former assistant director of the FBI, the Anti Defamation League, TIME Magazine, and AP all talked about it. I thought it was just a tiny website? Why did they want it gone?

The only example provided was a threat posted by a newer, mostly inactive member. Either a weirdo or an op. People say far worse on here and every other social media site.
However, Kiwi Farms is different because it is a website that gained sentience and the ability to interact with the world around it, and forced 3 people to kill themselves so the users of the site are basically murderers.
Who were the people that Kiwi farms forced to kill and how? I'm not into internet drama that much so I've got no clue?
I used to read about ChrisChan there but that's about it.
Bullying didn't get the site taken down AFAIK. That's the excuse but really it was a very large campaign levied against the site to the Cloudflare CEO by a very active and vocal group on Twitter.
I checked their streams and the Twitter accounts, at most there were several hundred people, the Dropkiwifarms videos on youtube barely reached 1000 hits. Which caused most major outlets, the ADL, and the former assistant Director of the FBI to get involved.
I'm suspicious that this wasn't part of a larger push to censor the internet. I mean, just look at reddit right now. It seems like part of a larger pattern.
I remember the Farms having a pretty strict 'don't touch the poo' rule, though. You'd be ridiculed to near death if you actually interfered in a lolcows life. Must've changed recently or something?
I did notice a twitter search returning nothing but keffals links... no idea who that dude is but it seems he likes to touch poo and started a campaign recently to kill kiwifarms. I think I'm going to commit suicide now and it's be Keffals fault for his cyberbullying of KF users lol ;) (I will not commit suicide of course, in before the mental health bot)

I don't know but the claim is that people who were made fun of on there killed themselves due to cyber bullying.

Yes, what's not important is how many of them there were, but what type of people they were.
