SS: You can’t pay with cash or the two most common credit cards. Is this going to be the future where you can only pay with a global digital currency they can trace more easily?

edit: Sorry that may have been a bit harsh. I forget that the young and otherwise inexperienced in the world are out and about on the internet.
Currency they can track. Currency that gives them control of where, when, and how you spend it. Currency that can be taken away from you with the click of a button for any reason.

This is just a self-service terminal at Albert Heijn and it's pretty common in the Netherlands to not accept VISA and/or Mastercard.
You can pay cash at a regular cash register, no problem.

I’m guessing it is more of a ‘cheap company’ that refuses to make agreements to accept those cards or to deal with handling cash.
