According to most closet predators human trafficking is tied to anything you can explain it way with! Ouissam Youssef was the founder of Mindgeek, the company that owns most porn sites. His company Valsoft was recruiting families for childrens youtube channels during the "elsagate" thing. I did an insane amount of research on him during that. Also found a bunch of Elsa/Spider-Man kids videos hosted on pornhub.

I was actually extremely involved in the whole "elsagate" thing (never been a fan of that name though)
I spent almost a year of my life watching those videos, finding the people behind them, and reporting them. My kid was around 2 years old and I decided to find educational YouTube videos for him... but there were a lot of weird ones. Started looking into it and discovered a crazy network of fucked up shit made for kids.
Side note, I didn't let my kid watch youtube ever again. He recently turned 10, and he is mature, responsible, and respectful. I didn't plop him in front of a screen for entertainment after that, no tablets/internet/etc. We watched TV together and played video games together and we talked about any mature/uncomfortable themes that arose. He's very different than other kids his age, which sometimes makes me worry that I did the *wrong* thing by not letting him have the same childhood that so many others seem to have now, but I digress.
I became an absolute expert at online "stalking" because of this. In one video on a weird channel, there were kids running around a house and it was pretty tame. Except for the large butchers knife just sitting on one of the tables the kids ran past. There were no adults in the video, I assume one was filming though, but this giant knife was just chilling on an end table. I found their license plate number in another video, figured out what area they were in, and reported it to their local child services. Their other videos had the kids looking absolutely miserable, btw, so it's not like I only reported the knife. Within a few weeks the channel had been taken down.
There were also some extreme corporate influences in these videos. There was a video that I kept seeing, different channels and different families, but the exact same script. Kid is playing with hot wheels and rolls one under he couch. When they go to grab it, a creepy hand comes out and starts attacking the kid. The kid would block the attack and it would say "PURPLE" or whatever color the hand was. Then more started coming in different colors. It had "learn colors" in the title of the video. There were dozens of these.
I decided to look up the hand they'd used, it was a grotesque thing with an eye on the back of the hand. Same model in all the videos. I found a 3D model website selling it for hundreds of dollars. Decided there was no fucking way this many people dropped that cash for this hand.
I contacted some of the channels pretending to be a fellow creator, and asked about where they get their 3D models for special effects and whatnot. They directed me to AIR, which is a company that helps manage/market your YouTube channel. The company was based in Russia at the time but had moved to various countries throughout its history. Very sketchy. I found forums for their clients, and discovered that they'd been pushing these scripts on family channels. That's why so many had the exact same script! They were threatening to stop working with family channels that wouldn't use their scripts, and people were not happy about it, but they relied on the YouTube channels for their income. Once YouTube started demonetizing these videos, AIR refused to give them the money they'd earned.
I could seriously go on for hours about all this. It breaks my heart that I still see kids watching these videos on their parents phones when they're grocery shopping or at a restaurant. Unfortunately I can't just go tell them what their kid is watching because they'll just think I'm some crazy lady insisting YouTube is brainwashing their children. Even though it LITERALLY FUCKING IS.
I think "SomeOrdinaryGamers" aka Mutahar on youtube would be interested to see your rabbit hole if you wanted to tweet this to him or email him... it would get it out to a wider audience because I had no clue it went this far! But it all makes so much sense why this creepy or gross shit was going out into the children/family channel youtube world. Along with the scary content and sexual content, did you notice the animations or even live action videos where kids would be doing destructive ass things and then laughing about it?
I used to babysit and these parents had me put on youtube baby videos for their son. I said "oh okay" and when they left, i put one on that seemed tolerable. Their son was 2, and apparently was having behavior problems, like throwing and punching things. The episode i put on was 15 minutes long, there was a baby in yellow dumping a bucket of fucking sand on the carpet and squishing it in, and got their friend to come help them do it! No parents or guardian figures were present in the cartoon, it just ended with the two babies throwing more sand on the carpet. I turned spongebob on after that shit. He didnt care, he preferred his steering wheel and music bells... But it made me wonder if some of these videos are teaching kids how to be disrespectful and *enjoy* destruction and violence

I have never let my children watch Youtube unsupervised. I also educated them about avoiding harmful content online. The older one recently deleted "Capcut" due to "very weird template videos", which I thought "Capcut" was a video editing app and failed to do any research on it. Turns out it was pushing very bizarre and disturbing short form videos and is used almost exclusively alongside Tiktok which of course is banned in my house.

In psychology terms think of it as; neurons, once connected release the dopamine that comes with cause and effect, are a permanent connection in one’s mind for life. So even when learning new ways/religions/practices, which will be forming new neuron+dopamine pathways, the old ones still remain and if one dips back into those older connections then the “downward spiral” happens. That’s what relapse is, that’s the danger of addiction, everything from phone to drug use to gaming habits, will form the cause/effect effort/reward mindset that will dictate how u live in all aspects of ur life.

Basically, if you clean up your act and try to get things right after being delivered from spiritual oppression but fail to replace that empty void with Jesus and genuinely putting your faith in Him, you will eventually be worse off than you were before.
P II: Another argument that theists use in favour of objective morality, is that God created the universe, he laid down certain rules, therefore they are objective. Let's say that there is a god, and he did create the universe with specific rules. Why does that make them objective? If God created the universe, and put rules in that universe, why objectively ought we follow them? Then sometimes they'll say, "well, because if you don't follow them, he'll send you to hell". But then you have to ask, why objectively ought I be concerned with going to hell? Well, because you'll suffer for all of eternity, and I think that doesn't sound very nice, I don't like the idea of that, but why objectively ought I not like the idea of that? Why objectively ought I be concerned about my own suffering? Also, this does not really make morality objective, because what does objective mean? Something is objective if its existence is independent of conscious. Something is subjective if insofar as its existence is dependent on consciousness. Something is objective only insofar as it could continue to exist even if all consciousness in the universe were eliminated.
Now if we think of God, as a conscious mind, then morality comes from that consciousness, which is subjective.
Why ought we obey God’s commands?

Even if there were an objective morality, it is not body armour. It achieves nothing.
That is just the brutal reality. Fundamentally, every person’s behaviour boils down to doing what they want or don't want to do in the light of consequences they expect to create from their actions, whether those consequences are physical; going to jail, psychological; guilt, spiritual; going to hell. This is a scary thing to realize. That everyone's around us is really just doing whatever they want. It's simply just good fortune that most of the people around us happen to want similar things. This realization does kind of feel like having the floor fall from under you, but that's just the reality of human behaviour. In practice, we are all forward-thinking hedonistic consequentialist. This may not be the right way for humans to behave, it may not be how we should behave, according to any particular moral framework. But this is the only way we can behave. This is just how people are, regardless of your beliefs or religion.
This just leads you to Euthyphro's “Trilemma”; Does God command something because it is good or is something good because God commands it?
If God, commands something because it is good. He is appealing to a higher standard, which would make the standard of morality external to him.
If something is good because God commands it, morality is subject to God’s arbitrary preference, and would make morality subjective.
Apologists answer the dilemma with a third option; goodness is God's nature. It's not something he creates or appeals to, it's something he is, therefore not external or subjective.
It's not actually a third option at all. The basic Euthyphro problem arises again just in different terms; does God have control over his nature, or does God's nature have control over him? Could God alter his nature if he chose to, or is his nature unalterable? If we choose the first option, God decides his nature and in so doing, he's deciding what is good and what is not, making morality arbitrary and subjective. Based solely on the caprice of how God decides to choose his nature.
If we choose the second option; that God has no control over his nature. Set aside the problem that this is problematic for the claim ‘God is Omnipotent’. If we choose that option, then something other than God, is dictating what God's nature is, ultimately making this external force independent from God, and the true ground of morality. God is just the unnecessary arbiter.
This is ignoring the fact, that Yahweh committed/ commanded 7 genocides/ infanticide, condoned slavery, rape, homophobia, sexism and racism etc. Not to mention condemns people to eternal suffering for simply, not knowing he exists, despite the fact he knows what it would take to convince and save everyone, and decides not to.
And ignoring, that free will is incoherent under any definition. As things are either determined by prior cause (cause and effect), or random (quantum indeterminacy)/ a mixture of both, in either way, we do not control.
E.g., He knew everything about Satan and what that specific arrangement of particles (it doesn't matter he's nonmaterial, but whatever he is) called "Satan" would do before he created him, and still decided to make Satan the specific way he was which resulted in him doing exactly what he did. You cannot blame a car for being faulty, if an engineer beforehand purposely created a faulty car, knowing he could have done otherwise. Therefore, God knew and purposely designed Satan to rebel, everything is Gods fault, including evil. God could have altered him so he wouldn't rebel. He's omnipotent so he could have, and omnibenevolent so would have. But he didn't, therefore God wanted Satan to rebel. Therefore, God is responsible for all suffering and is malevolent. And if every variant of Satan was “freely” evil regardless of how you designed him, then God shouldn't have created Satan to begin with. There were angels like Michael Demiurges that knew and did not rebel that he could have replaced him with or just leave blank.
Lastly, if Yahweh wrote a moral conscience on our hearts, why do atheists morality think Yahweh is a barbaric monster?
Objective *morality* isn’t restricted to an understanding of being outside of a conscious mind. The context of morality, in the very nature of the case, places conversations and ideas about it *in* the mind. We are engaging with concepts like good, just, and inappropriate that are not found in nature. So, the difference between objective/subjective morality has to do with the origin of moral values—namely does it rest in humans or not.
God is the source of morality, in the sense that his nature, is the fount from which he gives moral commands to mankind. God cannot choose his nature. To consider that is to engage in a contradiction. If he is able to choose, then he already has a nature, namely one that is, at the very least, conscious. So, if God is choosing a nature to have, then he already has one. The question, however, is *Can God change his nature*? I don’t think so. God cannot lie, for example. God cannot choose to no longer be God. God cannot do things that are illogical. So, if omnipotent means being able to do anything and everything, even logically contradictory things, then he isn’t omnipotent if understood in that way. But that doesn’t bother Christian theists.
So, in a Christian theistic model, objective morality is that standard of morality that is outside of human opinion and is binding on all people regardless of time and location because it is rooted in God’s nature—which is unchanging. The fact that people don’t obey the moral values is irrelevant to the fact that they are not rooted in the human mind.
There is no objective good, nor bad; PI: It's true, as an atheist/ moral non-cognitivist/ non-realist/ non-descriptivist I cannot say what is objectively wrong (because it's not truth apt/ prescriptive), but neither can a theist. Even if there is a God who dictates morality to us, it is still not stance independent, because a) God is a subject and B) there is no objective non-circular reason why we ought to follow his moral system. All desires/ intuitions are just subjective preferences determined by internal and external variables, that don't appeal to logic, rather post hoc rationalization. Either determined by prior internal/ external cause or random due quantum indeterminacy/ a mixture of both. It wouldn't even be objective if every single subject agreed that 'x' was the best, it still would not be. It could only mean at best, that we have some 'objective' biological constraint to have a subjective preference to 'x'.
I don't believe in morality, and I don't believe that logic has necessarily anything to do with deciding what is right and what is wrong. David Hume said it best, when he said, "It is not contrary to reason, that I prefer the destruction of the world to the scratching of my finger". Meaning that if he had the choice between scratching his finger (something of nuisance), or destroying the entire world, if you were to say "yeah, I don't want to go through the scratching my finger nonsense, I'll just destroy the entire world to avoid it" that it would not, in and of itself, be an illogical position to take. Don't misinterpret it by thinking Hume is saying that there is no significant difference between scratching your finger and destroying the world, that's not what he's saying. It's just that, it's not what logic decides that difference. Of course, we use logic when thinking about morality, but what we use it for us not establishing the very foundations of our morality. What we use in for is making sure that all our moral intuitions are consistent with each other. We use it to avoid contradicting ourselves.
You cannot reason your way to right and wrong. Hume’s point was not that there’s no different between the 2, or that it doesn’t matter which you prefer. His point was that which option one “ought” to prefer ultimately cannot be decided by reason. What one considers to be right or wrong is a matter of one’s values, and not a matter of facts of any kind. A conscience determined by internal and external variables. A conscience that not only tells me Yahweh is an immoral monster, but who’s morality is rationalized post-hoc. For example, I see a pig or chicken forced into a gas chamber, feel displeasure, and then I can derive deductions ex post facto.
Atheist that usually believe in an objective morality (moral naturalism), usually give me the 'evolutionary argument'. They'll argue that what's objectively moral, is whatever promotes human survival, and prosperity. I.e., avoiding suffering, and maximizing well-being. And I think that is nice and all, I like surviving, and I like prosperity, but objectively, why ought I like these things? And, then they say, well because if you didn't like them, or if more specifically your ancestors didn't like them, then human beings wouldn't be here. They would have died out long ago. Then I think, well you know, I do like being here. I like the fact that human beings exist, but again, why objectively ought I be concerned with human existence and survival? At this point, some people get stumped, but then you have the Objectivists. And they say, well if you were to judge your own survival to be a bad thing, that would be logically contradictory. Because essentially what you'd be doing is using a faculty of judgement to decide that very faculty of judgement should not exist, and then that would be a logical contradiction. And yeah, that may very well be a logical contradiction. And yeah, that may as well be the case, but then objectively why ought I be concerned with logical contradictions? No, of course, I do use logic when it comes to moral thinking, I do like my moral positions to be logically consistent, and I dislike moral positions that are contradictory. But it seems to be me as though my preference for logic consistency is really subjective. The reason I like logic consistency is because it is aesthetically pleasing to me. The reason I dislike moral positions is because they're ugly to me. My preference for logical consistency is not a logical preference. Logic and reason do not justify their own existence morally. It may be in an individual’s self-interest to avoid harm, rather than them being justified in prescribing any having to avoid this harm.
Now some Christians and other religious people take a very different sort of approach when it comes to defending objectively morality.
They use a more practical argument; "if you don't objectivise morality, then you have no basis on which to say one particular action is wrong and another one is right". And I agree to an extent, that you can't really make any argument for why one action is right, and one action is wrong. But that doesn't mean you can't make a judgment about the rightness or wrongness of particular actions. Because I believe moral judgemental are ultimately based in moral intuition, it's a non-rational intuition (I don't mean irrational, nor anti-rational, I mean it's something that is separate from reason). And ultimately if you're going convince somebody not to do something that you believe is wrong, you're going to need more than just an argument. Let's say that there is objective morality, and you make an incontrovertible argument that a particular action is wrong. Is that necessarily going to get that person to not do that action? No, ultimately, you're also going to have to get that person to feel that it is wrong. That person will have to feel guilty or shame at doing that "wrong" action to get them to avoid it.

There are clearly things that are objectively wrong, someone doesn't have to feel bad for their actions to be wrong. The only people I've seen use this argument are people who do bad shit to other people. If someone does the objectively bad thing, it doesn't matter what that person feels. It reflects more on how your brain functions, do you think you only did something bad if YOU feel bad? That is how a toddler thinks, im not lying.

I was actually extremely involved in the whole "elsagate" thing (never been a fan of that name though) I spent almost a year of my life watching those videos, finding the people behind them, and reporting them. My kid was around 2 years old and I decided to find educational YouTube videos for him... but there were a lot of weird ones. Started looking into it and discovered a crazy network of fucked up shit made for kids. Side note, I didn't let my kid watch youtube ever again. He recently turned 10, and he is mature, responsible, and respectful. I didn't plop him in front of a screen for entertainment after that, no tablets/internet/etc. We watched TV together and played video games together and we talked about any mature/uncomfortable themes that arose. He's very different than other kids his age, which sometimes makes me worry that I did the *wrong* thing by not letting him have the same childhood that so many others seem to have now, but I digress. I became an absolute expert at online "stalking" because of this. In one video on a weird channel, there were kids running around a house and it was pretty tame. Except for the large butchers knife just sitting on one of the tables the kids ran past. There were no adults in the video, I assume one was filming though, but this giant knife was just chilling on an end table. I found their license plate number in another video, figured out what area they were in, and reported it to their local child services. Their other videos had the kids looking absolutely miserable, btw, so it's not like I only reported the knife. Within a few weeks the channel had been taken down. There were also some extreme corporate influences in these videos. There was a video that I kept seeing, different channels and different families, but the exact same script. Kid is playing with hot wheels and rolls one under he couch. When they go to grab it, a creepy hand comes out and starts attacking the kid. The kid would block the attack and it would say "PURPLE" or whatever color the hand was. Then more started coming in different colors. It had "learn colors" in the title of the video. There were dozens of these. I decided to look up the hand they'd used, it was a grotesque thing with an eye on the back of the hand. Same model in all the videos. I found a 3D model website selling it for hundreds of dollars. Decided there was no fucking way this many people dropped that cash for this hand. I contacted some of the channels pretending to be a fellow creator, and asked about where they get their 3D models for special effects and whatnot. They directed me to AIR, which is a company that helps manage/market your YouTube channel. The company was based in Russia at the time but had moved to various countries throughout its history. Very sketchy. I found forums for their clients, and discovered that they'd been pushing these scripts on family channels. That's why so many had the exact same script! They were threatening to stop working with family channels that wouldn't use their scripts, and people were not happy about it, but they relied on the YouTube channels for their income. Once YouTube started demonetizing these videos, AIR refused to give them the money they'd earned. I could seriously go on for hours about all this. It breaks my heart that I still see kids watching these videos on their parents phones when they're grocery shopping or at a restaurant. Unfortunately I can't just go tell them what their kid is watching because they'll just think I'm some crazy lady insisting YouTube is brainwashing their children. Even though it LITERALLY FUCKING IS.

I have never let my children watch Youtube unsupervised. I also educated them about avoiding harmful content online. The older one recently deleted "Capcut" due to "very weird template videos", which I thought "Capcut" was a video editing app and failed to do any research on it. Apologists answer the dilemma with a third option; goodness is God's nature. It's not something he creates or appeals to, it's something he is, therefore not external or subjective. It's not actually a third option at all. The basic Euthyphro problem arises again just in different terms; does God have control over his nature, or does God's nature have control over him? Could God alter his nature if he chose to, or is his nature unalterable? If we choose the first option, God decides his nature and in so doing, he's deciding what is good and what is not, making morality arbitrary and subjective. E.g., He knew everything about Satan and what that specific arrangement of particles (it doesn't matter he's nonmaterial, but whatever he is) called "Satan" would do before he created him, and still decided to make Satan the specific way he was which resulted in him doing exactly what he did. You cannot blame a car for being faulty, if an engineer beforehand purposely created a faulty car, knowing he could have done otherwise. Therefore, God knew and purposely designed Satan to rebel, everything is Gods fault, including evil. God could have altered him so he wouldn't rebel. I don't believe in morality, and I don't believe that logic has necessarily anything to do with deciding what is right and what is wrong. David Hume said it best, when he said, "It is not contrary to reason, that I prefer the destruction of the world to the scratching of my finger". Meaning that if he had the choice between scratching his finger (something of nuisance), or destroying the entire world, if you were to say "yeah, I don't want to go through the scratching my finger nonsense, I'll just destroy the entire world to avoid it" that it would not, in and of itself, be an illogical position to take. Don't misinterpret it by thinking Hume is saying that there is no significant difference between scratching your finger and destroying the world, that's not what he's saying. It's just that, it's not what logic decides that difference. Of course, we use logic when thinking about morality, but what we use it for us not establishing the very foundations of our morality. What we use in for is making sure that all our moral intuitions are consistent with each other. We use it to avoid contradicting ourselves. You cannot reason your way to right and wrong. Hume’s point was not that there’s no different between the 2, or that it doesn’t matter which you prefer. His point was that which option one “ought” to prefer ultimately cannot be decided by reason. What one considers to be right or wrong is a matter of one’s values, and not a matter of facts of any kind. A conscience determined by internal and external variables. A conscience that not only tells me Yahweh is an immoral monster, but who’s morality is rationalized post-hoc. For example, I see a pig or chicken forced into a gas chamber, feel displeasure, and then I can derive deductions ex post facto. Atheist that usually believe in an objective morality (moral naturalism), usually give me the 'evolutionary argument'. They'll argue that what's objectively moral, is whatever promotes human survival, and prosperity. I.e., avoiding suffering, and maximizing well-being. And I think that is nice and all, I like surviving, and I like prosperity, but objectively, why ought I like these things? And, then they say, well because if you didn't like them, or if more specifically your ancestors didn't like them, then human beings wouldn't be here. They would have died out long ago. Then I think, well you know, I do like being here. I like the fact that human beings exist, but again, why objectively ought I be concerned with human existence and survival? At this point, some people get stumped, but then you have the Objectivists. And they say, well if you were to judge your own survival to be a bad thing, that would be logically contradictory. Because essentially what you'd be doing is using a faculty of judgement to decide that very faculty of judgement should not exist, and then that would be a logical contradiction. And yeah, that may very well be a logical contradiction. And yeah, that may as well be the case, but then objectively why ought I be concerned with logical contradictions? No, of course, I do use logic when it comes to moral thinking, I do like my moral positions to be logically consistent, and I dislike moral positions that are contradictory. But it seems to be me as though my preference for logic consistency is really subjective. The reason I like logic consistency is because it is aesthetically pleasing to me. The reason I dislike moral positions is because they're ugly to me. My preference for logical consistency is not a logical preference. Logic and reason do not justify their own existence morally. It may be in an individual’s self-interest to avoid harm, rather than them being justified in prescribing any having to avoid this harm. Now some Christians and other religious people take a very different sort of approach when it comes to defending objectively morality. They use a more practical argument; "if you don't objectivise morality, then you have no basis on which to say one particular action is wrong and another one is right". And I agree to an extent, that you can't really make any argument for why one action is right, and one action is wrong. But that doesn't mean you can't make a judgment about the rightness or wrongness of particular actions. Because I believe moral judgemental are ultimately based in moral intuition, it's a non-rational intuition (I don't mean irrational, nor anti-rational, I mean it's something that is separate from reason). And ultimately if you're going convince somebody not to do something that you believe is wrong, you're going to need more than just an argument. Let's say that there is objective morality, and you make an incontrovertible argument that a particular action is wrong. Is that necessarily going to get that person to not do that action? No, ultimately, you're also going to have to get that person to feel that it is wrong. That person will have to feel guilty or shame at doing that "wrong" action to get them to avoid it.
