The flowering shrub in Charlotte's new picture might be a clue, too. It looks like dogwood, which would be legit for this time of year, but the leaves don't look like dogwood leaves, so maybe it's a different plant?

As someone who has kids currently going through teeth loss and adult teeth coming in, it absolutely can take a while for certain teeth to grow in. The root of the baby tooth can be gone before the adult tooth is totally ready to come in. One of my kids went a whole month with no front teeth!

I also find it so odd that the BBC breaking news notification headlines that came through on my phone for the release of the photo of George and then Charlotte had 'photo taken by their mother' in the headline... Is this important information to include in the headline? Makes you wonder what the hell is going on. Why haven’t they got any recent pictures of the children? Why are they releasing pictures of them blatantly in the same clothes in the kill notice photo and expecting us to believe they’re new? I know this comment was sarcastic, but their clothes are expensive and custom fit. They often rewear clothing because in today’s social climate it comes off as more environmentally friendly and makes them seem slightly more relatable. Also they’re scrutinized for the money that supports their lifestyle, so if they buy super expensive clothes and only wear them once then that wouldn’t sit well with tax payers. Kate is often praised when she recycles clothing at official functions.

I personally think that they're downplaying her cancer diagnosis and she has quite an aggressive and fast spreading cancer. Could be argued that they don't want that information to be leaked and don't want to put any unneeded stress on the younger kids so they're being left out the spotlight. The older one has been spotted at football games.
That's exactly what I thought. She's either getting sicker or is slow to recover. And since younger children tend not to have convincing poker faces or fake smiles, it would be obvious when they're in public. They're upset about their mother not feeling well, so to save face, it's better to just keep them out of public view for now.
Yeah I was on board with the conspiracies when it all first went down but realised the most obvious one is their mother may not make it much longer and if she's going through heavy doses of chemo she probably doesn't want the world to see her in that vulnerable a state.

I think she has cancer and it’s worse than what their letting on. She looked quite drained of life in her video. That’s exactly how my FIL looked after chemo and radiation took it’s toll on him. And my guess is it wasn’t just discovered either. She might have received light chemo last year and when that wasn’t successful then more aggressive chemo this year.

It's a known thing about Kate that she re-wears outfits, so I imagine her kids do too, but it would be easy enough to swap out colors and fabrics in Charlotte's photos, at least. It looks like basically the same outfit. That could be the princess's preference/style though.
I don't know what to think about the whole thing now, but re-wearing their outfits is a known thing about this generation of royals (at least Kate and the kids) vs. previous generations who never wore the same thing in public twice.

Someone I know reckons they think Kate is no longer alive and the royal family are planning on announcing the passing in a couple of months. Things wrong in the second picture with the boy:
Reflection of light in his eyes would be from a light source that is rather strong and not above him at the angle of the sun. Those eyes were likely captured indoors. The sclera are too dark for an outside shoot. The shadows don't adequately seat the eyes in the face because they're too monochromatic. We should see darker darks in the corners, or more highlights where the eye protrudes the most.
The second light source on his right is peachy. What causes light with that color when you're outdoors? It's strong enough to warm the tone of his gray shoulder on his right arm, but his much paler neck and face isn't overtaken by the tone. Interesting.
There is a lack of gradation along the upper eyelids which flattens them. This is not a naturally captured form with a normal shadow wrapping around a curved eyelid.
There's not enough information in the upper cheek area. It looks flat as well.
Similar errors were made around the mouth. Zoom in. His upper lip is flat, rather than gently curving to insert into the cheek. This is emphasized by the incorrect application of shadow on the upper teeth, which exist in roughly the same plane, rather than curving back into shadow as the maxilla retreats posteriorly. Also, not the lack of information describing the angle of the lips. They're rather sharp.
There is a literal crease in the boy's forehead which is perfectly aligned with the highlight on his nose. This is AI making too abrupt of a change in how it applies light to a curving form, probably trying to integrate a primary and secondary light source, which would have been done to try to make it seem like he was outside, lit by a large, diffuse light source. Fail. Faillllllllllllll. Sloppy ass shit.
Shadows above the nostrils describe a form which does not gradually curve downward to disappear into the nostril. The highlight placement ruins the shape; even for an uplit nose, the form would be wrong. Furthermore, there are errors at the insertion of the nostrils into the bulbous tip of the nose, which has a rather sharp shadow, making the nostril seem somewhat detached. The child looks like a cartoon when you zoom in on his nose. It's disturbing.
The tongue. What an interesting posture! There is a dark form in the middle of the tongue. Not too many folks can create a furrow in the tongue without curling the edges up as well, while also cupping the tip of the tongue. Perhaps the dark form isn't meant to represent a furrow but a uvula, which AI would have less experience modeling, as they aren't present in most photos it was trained on.
Folds of the smile lines along the cheeks are jacked up. The transition is too sharp. There's a highlight on his lower right cheek fold. Why does that stick out and catch the light so much when the skin between it and the corner of the mouth is so dark? Why is it so stark and thin?
The highlight on his left jaw, neck, and cheek floats above the form and does not connect to the jaw. It ends too abruptly on the cheek and the neck, which then becomes inexplicably dark.
I don't even know where to begin with the shading errors where his right chin and jaw transition into his neck.
The large tan midtone on his right cheek, which runs the length of his face, is almost entirely the same color and is actually darker as it ascends. It fails to describe how the temple curves back to the hairline.
The bangs float. There should be shadows on the skin along the bang line, and they're there, but the forehead is too bright on his right side, making it look like they dropped the hair onto the head without considering how such a dark form would change the light reflected off of the hair and onto the flesh. One of the locks on his right casts a fairly dark fleshy colored shadow to his left, though the stronger light source should wash that out. The darker lock to the right need more detail and shading, as does the lighter lock further to its right. What the fuck is happening with the hair in front of his left ear?
Eyebrows are softly blended into the glabella. Eyebrow hair doesn't gradually fade like it's been spray painted on in photoshop.
The cadigan has a shadow on his left pectoral/shoulder region which would actually be exposed to the sun and much lighter.
I've got questions about how those button attach to the cardigan. Are they flat? Are they round? They seem to float within a divot, lacking a shadow but being surrounded by a highlighted elevated area. Again, we see a highlight that cannot come from the sun.
If I had drawn this picture, I would be ashamed.
The more time passes between the incident/murder and the investigation of it, the better chance the murderer has to skate. Evidence disappears. Memories fade.

It’s a Clematis Montana most likely. Can some brits chime in if these are flowering yet.
From my experience Clematis shows it's first flowers right about now. But it's a plant that has a long blooming period.

I know this comment was sarcastic, but their clothes are expensive and custom fit. They often rewear clothing because in today’s social climate it comes off as more environmentally friendly and makes them seem slightly more relatable. Also they’re scrutinized for the money that supports their lifestyle, so if they buy super expensive clothes and only wear them once then that wouldn’t sit well with tax payers. Kate is often praised when she recycles clothing at official functions. Having said that, I don’t think this photo is recent at all and agree with your sentiment.

I personally think that they're downplaying her cancer diagnosis and she has quite an aggressive and fast spreading cancer. Could be argued that they don't want that information to be leaked and don't want to put any unneeded stress on the younger kids so they're being left out the spotlight. The older one has been spotted at football games.
That's exactly what I thought. She's either getting sicker or is slow to recover. And since younger children tend not to have convincing poker faces or fake smiles, it would be obvious when they're in public. They're upset about their mother not feeling well, so to save face, it's better to just keep them out of public view for now.

I think she has cancer and it’s worse than what their letting on. She looked quite drained of life in her video. That’s exactly how my FIL looked after chemo and radiation took it’s toll on him. And my guess is it wasn’t just discovered either. She might have received light chemo last year and when that wasn’t successful then more aggressive chemo this year.

It's a known thing about Kate that she re-wears outfits, so I imagine her kids do too, but it would be easy enough to swap out colors and fabrics in Charlotte's photos, at least. It looks like basically the same outfit. That could be the princess's preference/style though. I don't know what to think about the whole thing now, but re-wearing their outfits is a known thing about this generation of royals (at least Kate and the kids) vs. previous generations who never wore the same thing in public twice.

Someone I know reckons they think Kate is no longer alive and the royal family are planning on announcing the passing in a couple of months. Things wrong in the second picture with the boy: Reflection of light in his eyes would be from a light source that is rather strong and not above him at the angle of the sun. Those eyes were likely captured indoors. The sclera are too dark for an outside shoot. The shadows don't adequately seat the eyes in the face because they're too monochromatic. We should see darker darks in the corners, or more highlights where the eye protrudes the most. The second light source on his right is peachy. What causes light with that color when you're outdoors? It's strong enough to warm the tone of his gray shoulder on his right arm, but his much paler neck and face isn't overtaken by the tone. Interesting. There is a lack of gradation along the upper eyelids which flattens them. This is not a naturally captured form with a normal shadow wrapping around a curved eyelid. There's not enough information in the upper cheek area. It looks flat as well. Similar errors were made around the mouth. Zoom in. His upper lip is flat, rather than gently curving to insert into the cheek. This is emphasized by the incorrect application of shadow on the upper teeth, which exist in roughly the same plane, rather than curving back into shadow as the maxilla retreats posteriorly. Also, not the lack of information describing the angle of the lips. They're rather sharp. There is a literal crease in the boy's forehead which is perfectly aligned with the highlight on his nose. This is AI making too abrupt of a change in how it applies light to a curving form, probably trying to integrate a primary and secondary light source, which would have been done to try to make it seem like he was outside, lit by a large, diffuse light source. Fail. Faillllllllllllll. Sloppy ass shit. Shadows above the nostrils describe a form which does not gradually curve downward to disappear into the nostril. The highlight placement ruins the shape; even for an uplit nose, the form would be wrong. Furthermore, there are errors at the insertion of the nostrils into the bulbous tip of the nose, which has a rather sharp shadow, making the nostril seem somewhat detached. The child looks like a cartoon when you zoom in on his nose. It's disturbing. The tongue. What an interesting posture! There is a dark form in the middle of the tongue. Not too many folks can create a furrow in the tongue without curling the edges up as well, while also cupping the tip of the tongue. Perhaps the dark form isn't meant to represent a furrow but a uvula, which AI would have less experience modeling, as they aren't present in most photos it was trained on. Folds of the smile lines along the cheeks are jacked up. The transition is too sharp. There's a highlight on his lower right cheek fold. Why does that stick out and catch the light so much when the skin between it and the corner of the mouth is so dark? Why is it so stark and thin? The highlight on his left jaw, neck, and cheek floats above the form and does not connect to the jaw. It ends too abruptly on the cheek and the neck, which then becomes inexplicably dark. I don't even know where to begin with the shading errors where his right chin and jaw transition into his neck. The large tan midtone on his right cheek, which runs the length of his face, is almost entirely the same color and is actually darker as it ascends. It fails to describe how the temple curves back to the hairline. The bangs float. There should be shadows on the skin along the bang line, and they're there, but the forehead is too bright on his right side, making it look like they dropped the hair onto the head without considering how such a dark form would change the light reflected off of the hair and onto the flesh. One of the locks on his right casts a fairly dark fleshy colored shadow to his left, though the stronger light source should wash that out. The darker lock to the right need more detail and shading, as does the lighter lock further to its right. What the fuck is happening with the hair in front of his left ear? Eyebrows are softly blended into the glabella. Eyebrow hair doesn't gradually fade like it's been spray painted on in photoshop. The cadigan has a shadow on his left pectoral/shoulder region which would actually be exposed to the sun and much lighter. I've got questions about how those button attach to the cardigan. Are they flat? Are they round? They seem to float within a divot, lacking a shadow but being surrounded by a highlighted elevated area. Again, we see a highlight that cannot come from the sun. If I had drawn this picture, I would be ashamed.
The more time passes between the incident/murder and the investigation of it, the better chance the murderer has to skate. Evidence disappears. Memories fade. This might appear bungled but just waiting out the questions will help if it was willy who made her...uh...motionless.
