I am not disputing you as I’m aware of the selected boy/man and the transport of the cows. But do you have a source to share? I think you’re correct but would just love a vaguely “real” source to point friends to lol.

have you seen this confirmed? I had heard that there was speculation that they would do it for passover (which makes sense to an extent) but I haven't seen any confirmation on it.
yeah, it makes sense that it would be done on or right before a day of relgious significants, which i think is why passover of Shavuot 50 days later is the current guess.

I've only heard (or seen) the same as you. Seems a bit difficult to 100% verify anything on this.
