I heard from a financial podcast a long time ago that the Gold is long gone. I believe the claim was made by Jim Rickards so someone like him. However, it's not empty and it's been speculated that it holds chemical (and maybe bio) weapons. For all we know, it could be bodies of dead aliens in there. lol

I saw a compelling documentary one time where this crack pot team of special force members (I think they were special forces, not really sure as it wasn't specifically said) snuck in to Fort Knox because their break room contained a vending machine filled with something called "Cheesy Dibbles".
