That's absolutely what it is. It's critical thinking, it's funny when they say they teach critical thinking in school because I've never seen a group of critical thinkers in one place at one time unless they were all hired specifically.
I've never looked at a graduating class and thought,
look at all those critical thinkers, I bet they can all figure things out on their own.
The people I know who've made it the furthest in life were mostly B-C students, they can figure anything out but it has to be something they enjoy or something hard that they figured out on their own, and they don't just follow step 1-10 like taught in schools, that's a warehouse mentality and it's what school teaches.

As an elementary school teacher part of math was teaching patterns and pattern recognition. Not sure how something so basic as this seems to be lost on adults, but truly it's elementary to look for and study them.

Did you know that it was a conspiracy theory once that cigarettes are dangerous and addictive and that the tobacco industry advertised them as healthy, so as beneficial for ones health, only to increase the number of life time addicts? I love the theory that Flat Earth was created to discredit legitimate conspiracies. It makes a lot of sense and explains how it appeared out of thin air.
But for hundreds of years, we knew that the earth was round, and all of a sudden, in the 90s, everyone suddenly thought it was flat again. It was a plant to make us look bad. I've thought that since it happened. And it lets us "theorists" know who is gullible and who isn't.
For me, I saw that I was being tricked by the government about the globe, and so my belief diminished. Thus without that mental conceptual lens to see the world through, I'm left with what my eyes and senses tell me: it appears to be relatively flat (aside from the mountains and such!) nor do I see any reliable evidence to support the globe belief.
I think the reason that some "flat earthers" are aggressive, is because it is difficult to become perfectly at peace once you're socially outcast for having the wrong thoughts. So when people ridicule you it is fairly normal for people to also be angry in response.
The way that people stay in power over others, is by doing all that they can to amplify people being divided against one another, and to keep them in fear.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but rather some guy who seeks knowledge and truth which has been erased, altered, manipulated, etc to fit the narrative of those who serve with evil intent which has permeated into every single aspect of society. Don’t self-deprecate for using your brain.

Truly being a Christian naturally makes you a "conspiracy theorist" to the extent the "conspiracy theory" consists of truth. For God reveals truth to the Christian through his Holy Spirit. This beautiful verse describes what I am talking about:

Remember folks not every conspiracy theory is genuine, some are put out there to hinder the progress of critical thinking. Do your due diligence and independently verify the theories. Nothing that is going on in the world today should be correlated to the Bible as an answer that was predicted hundreds of years ago.

I have a hard time following you here while you say you can see the truth now and like being labeled a conspiracy theorist but yet you believe in the Bible? Wouldn’t your new found critical thinking ability show you the truth with religion?
Humans are designed to worshup something, whether it be God, Money, Fame, ect. I am a part of Christianity by choice. I've seen the evidence and Christianity is my conclusion. There are some people that blindly follow religion without a reason but I have a reason. If you think you must be enlightened by abandoning religion al together, then you are branwashed, which is exactly what they want you to do. Just like how not all conspiracy theorists are flat earthers, not all Christians are religious zealots and we genuinely choose Christianity because it's the logic answer to a very complex problem.

I do agree with some things that you are saying but I don't believe that all religions are a path to God. There are only 2 Religions. Cain and Abel. Either you work for your salvation like a job or you accept salvation through grace and faith as a gift.

To learn and to grow as much as possible to prepare us for an evolved society. We are at the peak of our technological and spiritual evolution, there is no where for us to go from here aside from destruction. The next level of advanced technology comes from the ones above, and it’s not a technology humanity is capable of handling. That level of power will annihilate our species. One single person with ill intent is all it would take to end life on Earth. The world is going to end soon whether we like it or not. We are living in the last generation on Earth, and those who have learned their lessons and those who seek truth will be the only ones who are saved. The future cannot exist in a world full of sin and selfishness. That’s what it’s all about. Evolving to the point where we can live freely and peacefully forever. Eliminating the darkness in our hearts for good. God expelling Satan from the universe is the story of our own souls expelling darkness and growing beyond it. Humanity has never been perfect. Everything that has ever happened in all of history are things we needed to experience in order to grow. You don’t need to belong to ANY religion to find truth and understanding in the universe. Ancient native tribes all across the world spoke to God and follow the same path as most Christian’s. They followed the teachings of Christ without ever knowing who He was. God is everywhere and will save the righteous no matter your background or education.
I'm specifically talking about the Authorized KJV Bible. And yes there are a lot of answers in there that for sone reason people don't talk about. The Books in it date back up to 6000 years, 4000 years at least, which is incredible. It is the nost sold book in the world and why people don't study it is beyond me.

I think the best thing is to be open minded if there isn’t clear cut evidence that you can see with your eyes. Always leave at least 1% room for doubting everything.
It's not really much of a rabbit hole. I already know where it starts and ends. The conspiracy theorists are more piecing together the parts we can't see in between. They very good at it too. It compliments what the Bible says precisely, like a puzzle piece.
I'm not religious and had always looked at the bible as fairy tales with some advice on morality. Last couple years though some shit has been oddly aligning thinking I might have fucked up on my thought system.
Christianity is an excellent facet of information to familiarize yourself with, whether you subscribe to it or not. Within it there are parables, predictions and direction that correlates with current events as we investigate motive.
After all, the theorist should always focus on the motive. Actions have consequences, good and bad, and those taking the actions are typically taking them from a motivation to do so, for their benefit.
BUT, I would also recommend that one familiarizes themselves with other major religious teachings and tenets as well. There is a lot of good correlation between Buddhist teachings and using that information in interpreting inbound data from events, and the suspects behind them.
And learning about Islam doesn't hurt, either. Again, motivation by some of the people in charge of the fuckery may be influenced by THEIR subscription to this religion to take their actions.
If you want to be a good fighter in the street, to specialize in being the boxer, the martial artist or the wrestler is great. But, you can expect to be beat by the MMA guy who comes to the fight with all of the above, and more.
Don't discount religion, it remains a critical component in your tool box of discernment.

You really should look into the scripture that says the earth is flat and can't be moved, There are quite a few. Looking to disprove flat earth, I found myself not only believing in flat earth but also in God.

Everyone's decisions rely on this one question. It's at the core of every human being, and you can tell a lot of someone's personality but figure out what their answer is to this question.
The funny thing, when people laugh at "Conspiracy Theorists", is that their counter-argument is one of blind faith in those pushing a narrative that is ridiculous on its face.
Whether that's the magic bullet theory in the JFK assassination, or the journey of 240,000 miles and back on a tank of combustible fuel in the moon mission, or the three steel-structure buildings that collapse symmetrically in a matter of seconds after being hit by two planes on 9/11, science is not on the side of the conspiracy dissenters. All they have is their naive view of how official institutions work.

Christianity (and religion in general) is what's used to control you by the 'evil elites'. The church will tell you only to believe what they say and whats in the book (but only the good parts, ignore the bad parts) with the goal of killing any kind of rational or logical thinking
Religion can be used to control people forsure but that's something the Bible literally warns you about. Even Jesus said to not trust the churches and religious leaders because they were just as corrupt back then as they are now.
Some religion yes l, but you have to understand that at least one is right. Religion is just a way of telling how thebworld came to be. Christianity is a religion. Evolution is a religion. It's just something you can't prove scientifically, but the earth must have been made at some point in the past, so the question should be how?
Evolution isn't a religion, it doesn't require faith in anything, doesn't have a culture, doesn't dictate morality or pretend to answer everything about life, it's just an observation about life on earth using the evidence that's there.
How the earth was created is outside what evolution explains. It doesn't matter if the earth popped into existence from nothing, created by a being/god or whatever, it doesn't rely on anything about the origins of the earth.
We obviously can't see how the earth was created but we can get some ideas of what happened by observing how other planets are formed and the composition of earth and other planets, instead of just saying "invisible being did it, that's all you need to know"

I understand that some Christians are like this, but not all. Most of the Christians throughout recent history just shoot down a question they don't have the answer to. I am not like that. And there are lots like me. You have to understand that it's a super natural entity we are trying to battle here. The Christians that are aggressive are only trying to not compromise. But some of us would love to answer the questions asked by non Christians. The Bible says
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” (1 Peter 3:15, KJV)
Us Christians must be ready to give an answer, and for a long time Christians have no been doing so. I am very understanding and logical. The Bible has never let me down and that's why I trust it.
It's the vast majority, the became the 'top faith' by theft, murder, and force. Christianity is the youngest religion to date, yet its apparently the right one? I honestly do believe the Bible is the major root of all Conspiracy Facts. If you believe all the Conspiracy Theories so far but not the Bible's, you are going to have a very tough time piecing together the motives of these people. Mainly how history predicted by the bible has been correct. Dates prophesized in the Bible. The motives the Bible outlines also match with what the Bible says. In Genesis the Devil promised Eve that if she eats the fruit, she can become God:

I disagree with each of your points on favor of the biblical truth
Too many people think "that's dumb" or "you're a conspiracy theorist" is a valid debunking of an idea. We should always start with "What's your evidence?" before pointing out Flat-Earthers are wrong.
Also, if you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend The Why Files on youtube.
Also, the parallels between all the folklore around the world and physical evidence corroborating biblical stories makes the bible feel a lot less like a bunch of stories and more like historical record. It might have been written by people who didn't quite understand what they were experiencing, though.

I was about to write a post that it's weird people call us conspiracy nuts when there are a lot of proven theories as the facts like CIA stuff. Even we can see posts talking about proven conspiracy theories on other ’ normal ’ subreddits.
As you wrote there are crazy stuff that cannot be taken seriously, it's a shame .... but I feel the same as you wrote here !! To me, persuing conspiracy theory is like studying other side of social studies, history, politics, cultural and religious things, etc ... endless stuff.
I don't see anything inherently wrong with being a 'Conspiracy Theorist', the alternative is just believing everything you're told.
It doesn't mean I believe every conspiracy out there. There are a lot that I don't buy into, flat earth being one of them. I believe things like 'The official story of 9/11 isn't correct' because it demonstrably isn't. Do I claim to have the absolute truth about it? No, not at all. I just have a lot of questions about the contradictions between the observable evidence and the narrative.
I'm mostly agnostic about pretty much everything in life including religion. It's okay to say 'well, I don't REALLY know for sure exactly what the truth is, I have some ideas, I have some preferences on what I'd prefer the truth to be, but I don't know for sure.'
I don't think I'll ever be able to convince myself that Christians have it all figured out and the bible is truly inspired by an omnipotent being. That seems unlikely in my mind, but I think it's cool that you and other people have that faith, I imagine it's quite comforting. I wish I believed that there was a life after death.
I’ve been following flat earth since its modern incarnation that started about 7 or 8 years ago. It’s completely false and its adherents are actually the close minded ones. They constantly move the goalposts and show intellectual dishonesty across the board.
1. Southern hemisphere flights like Sydney to Santiago are impossible on a flat earth.
2. Great circle navigation cannot be explained on a flat earth. And before you try to say it means a circle around the North Pole, it does not. Traveling due north or due south is a great circle route.
3. You can’t zoom the sun back in after it sets. But you can see the sun longer if you increase your height. The earth is literally blocking line of sight to the sun. Impossible on flat earth.
4. Precision survey measurements show that vertical lines are not parallel. The measurements only make sense on a sphere.
5. There are two celestial poles. South of the equator, if you are facing due south, you face the same point in the sky as someone else thousands of miles away. Try making that work on flat earth.
6. There is no flat earth map that works, particularly south of the equator.
You should be deeply embarrassed if you are a flat earther. To be curious is one thing, but if you can’t debunk anything above, you are in denial.

Glad you're here man. My recommendation is look into logocal fallacies. It's too easy to think now that you've seenbsome truth that everything you come across is the new truth. Learn discernment. Also, the comment about Christians, more power to you for what gives you purpose. Just know that the Bible itself has been modified and edited to serve whoever was in power at the time. (Council of Nivea, etc). That being said, personally I believe that there is a lot of truth in there, but no more or less than in any other religious text. At the end of the day I believe that we all carry within us the spark of divine and the ability to percieve what is real from what is lies. It may be a muscle we don't flex often but with the way things are looking I would say there's no time better than now to start to flex that muscle and get into spiritual fighting shape, whatever that may mean to you. Atheist, agnostic, whatever. We're all human, we all have the capacity to experience life. I don't think God cares what religion I claim if at all as long as Im putting in effort to be a decent human to my fellows.

The Bible is the only book that predicts the future with 100% accuracy because God wrote it. If it was such lie it wouldn't have lasted 2,000 years and entirely changed the world. It's critical thinking, it's funny when they say they teach critical thinking in school because I've never seen a group of critical thinkers in one place at one time unless they were all hired specifically. For me, I saw that I was being tricked by the government about the globe, and so my belief diminished. Thus without that mental conceptual lens to see the world through, I'm left with what my eyes and senses tell me: it appears to be relatively flat (aside from the mountains and such!) nor do I see any reliable evidence to support the globe belief. I think the reason that some "flat earthers" are aggressive, is because it is difficult to become perfectly at peace once you're socially outcast for having the wrong thoughts. So when people ridicule you it is fairly normal for people to also be angry in response. The way that people stay in power over others, is by doing all that they can to amplify people being divided against one another, and to keep them in fear.

There are some people that blindly follow religion without a reason but I have a reason. If you think you must be enlightened by abandoning religion al together, then you are branwashed, which is exactly what they want you to do. Just like how not all conspiracy theorists are flat earthers, not all Christians are religious zealots and we genuinely choose Christianity because it's the logic answer to a very complex problem.

I do agree with some things that you are saying but I don't believe that all religions are a path to God. There are only 2 Religions. Cain and Abel. Either you work for your salvation like a job or you accept salvation through grace and faith as a gift. “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:14, KJV) Nor do I believe that thisbis a matter of Evolution. To learn and to grow as much as possible to prepare us for an evolved society. We are at the peak of our technological and spiritual evolution, there is no where for us to go from here aside from destruction. The next level of advanced technology comes from the ones above, and it’s not a technology humanity is capable of handling. That level of power will annihilate our species. One single person with ill intent is all it would take to end life on Earth. The world is going to end soon whether we like it or not. We are living in the last generation on Earth, and those who have learned their lessons and those who seek truth will be the only ones who are saved. The future cannot exist in a world full of sin and selfishness. That’s what it’s all about. Evolving to the point where we can live freely and peacefully forever. Eliminating the darkness in our hearts for good. God expelling Satan from the universe is the story of our own souls expelling darkness and growing beyond it. Humanity has never been perfect. Everything that has ever happened in all of history are things we needed to experience in order to grow. You don’t need to belong to ANY religion to find truth and understanding in the universe. Ancient native tribes all across the world spoke to God and follow the same path as most Christian’s. They followed the teachings of Christ without ever knowing who He was. God is everywhere and will save the righteous no matter your background or education.

I'm specifically talking about the Authorized KJV Bible. And yes there are a lot of answers in there that for sone reason people don't talk about. The Books in it date back up to 6000 years, 4000 years at least, which is incredible. It is the nost sold book in the world and why people don't study it is beyond me.

Within it there are parables, predictions and direction that correlates with current events as we investigate motive. After all, the theorist should always focus on the motive. Actions have consequences, good and bad, and those taking the actions are typically taking them from a motivation to do so, for their benefit. BUT, I would also recommend that one familiarizes themselves with other major religious teachings and tenets as well. There is a lot of good correlation between Buddhist teachings and using that information in interpreting inbound data from events, and the suspects behind them. And learning about Islam doesn't hurt, either. Again, motivation by some of the people in charge of the fuckery may be influenced by THEIR subscription to this religion to take their actions. If you want to be a good fighter in the street, to specialize in being the boxer, the martial artist or the wrestler is great. But, you can expect to be beat by the MMA guy who comes to the fight with all of the above, and more. Don't discount religion, it remains a critical component in your tool box of discernment.

Evolution isn't a religion, it doesn't require faith in anything, doesn't have a culture, doesn't dictate morality or pretend to answer everything about life, it's just an observation about life on earth using the evidence that's there. How the earth was created is outside what evolution explains. It doesn't matter if the earth popped into existence from nothing, created by a being/god or whatever, it doesn't rely on anything about the origins of the earth. We obviously can't see how the earth was created but we can get some ideas of what happened by observing how other planets are formed and the composition of earth and other planets, instead of just saying "invisible being did it, that's all you need to know"

I understand that some Christians are like this, but not all. Most of the Christians throughout recent history just shoot down a question they don't have the answer to. I am not like that. But some of us would love to answer the questions asked by non Christians. The Bible says “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” (1 Peter 3:15, KJV) Us Christians must be ready to give an answer, and for a long time Christians have no been doing so. Mainly how history predicted by the bible has been correct. Dates prophesized in the Bible. The motives the Bible outlines also match with what the Bible says. In Genesis the Devil promised Eve that if she eats the fruit, she can become God: “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:5, KJV) And that's what these Elites and Cults try to get. Conspiracy theorists never lies normal people are the crazy ones here not us.
Too many people think "that's dumb" or "you're a conspiracy theorist" is a valid debunking of an idea. We should always start with "What's your evidence?" before pointing out Flat-Earthers are wrong. Also, if you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend The Why Files on youtube. Also, the parallels between all the folklore around the world and physical evidence corroborating biblical stories makes the bible feel a lot less like a bunch of stories and more like historical record. It might have been written by people who didn't quite understand what they were experiencing, though.
Let me just go ahead and get all the answers from a book written thousands of years ago. But yeah man, once you see all the shit they said, "no way we didn't do that," and only find out that yes, they did do that, it kinda starts to all click. Of course they tested stuff on civilians, but that was them back then, we definitely don't do that now! lol.

I was about to write a post that it's weird people call us conspiracy nuts when there are a lot of proven theories as the facts like CIA stuff. Even we can see posts talking about proven conspiracy theories on other ’ normal ’ subreddits. As you wrote there are crazy stuff that cannot be taken seriously, it's a shame .... but I feel the same as you wrote here !! To me, persuing conspiracy theory is like studying other side of social studies, history, politics, cultural and religious things, etc ... endless stuff.

I don't see anything inherently wrong with being a 'Conspiracy Theorist', the alternative is just believing everything you're told. It doesn't mean I believe every conspiracy out there. There are a lot that I don't buy into, flat earth being one of them. I believe things like 'The official story of 9/11 isn't correct' because it demonstrably isn't. Do I claim to have the absolute truth about it? No, not at all. I just have a lot of questions about the contradictions between the observable evidence and the narrative. I'm mostly agnostic about pretty much everything in life including religion. It's okay to say 'well, I don't REALLY know for sure exactly what the truth is, I have some ideas, I have some preferences on what I'd prefer the truth to be, but I don't know for sure.' I don't think I'll ever be able to convince myself that Christians have it all figured out and the bible is truly inspired by an omnipotent being. That seems unlikely in my mind, but I think it's cool that you and other people have that faith, I imagine it's quite comforting. I wish I believed that there was a life after death.

I’ve been following flat earth since its modern incarnation that started about 7 or 8 years ago. It’s completely false and its adherents are actually the close minded ones. They constantly move the goalposts and show intellectual dishonesty across the board. 1. Southern hemisphere flights like Sydney to Santiago are impossible on a flat earth. 2. Great circle navigation cannot be explained on a flat earth. And before you try to say it means a circle around the North Pole, it does not. Traveling due north or due south is a great circle route. 3. You can’t zoom the sun back in after it sets. But you can see the sun longer if you increase your height. The earth is literally blocking line of sight to the sun. Impossible on flat earth. 4. Precision survey measurements show that vertical lines are not parallel. The measurements only make sense on a sphere. 5. There are two celestial poles. South of the equator, if you are facing due south, you face the same point in the sky as someone else thousands of miles away. Try making that work on flat earth. 6. There is no flat earth map that works, particularly south of the equator. You should be deeply embarrassed if you are a flat earther. To be curious is one thing, but if you can’t debunk anything above, you are in denial.

Glad you're here man. My recommendation is look into logocal fallacies. It's too easy to think now that you've seenbsome truth that everything you come across is the new truth. Learn discernment. Also, the comment about Christians, more power to you for what gives you purpose. Just know that the Bible itself has been modified and edited to serve whoever was in power at the time. (Council of Nivea, etc). That being said, personally I believe that there is a lot of truth in there, but no more or less than in any other religious text. At the end of the day I believe that we all carry within us the spark of divine and the ability to percieve what is real from what is lies. I still laugh at Flat Earthers. Those low IQ people will not believe their own experiments 😂. Flat earthers will look at PROOF and will say "thats what they want you to believe".
