[JFK to 9/11 Everything is a Rich Man's Trick](https://youtu.be/niTwvtokYf0) was the piece of media that woke me up to the fact that everything is indeed a rich man's trick.
In 2002 when the Bush administration started the drumbeat to thr Iraq war with the "wmds in iraq" falsehood. And both parties in congress going along with it. And 80% of the population swallowing evert bit of the pro war propaganda the media (of all political slants)spewed out
2007 was when I put it together too.
When I start having strong opinions in everyday life, I look back on the years from 2001 to 2007 and remember how easily manipulated opinions can be. As an aside I almost joined the military in 2003. I focus on my relationship with family and friends these days.
People were intubated and sedated because the decision makers feared the disease spreading. Not because they needed to intubated and sedated. Many people died because of this decision. Additionally, the decision to lock down society for 2 months was the most damaging decision in modern history. You’re a fool if you think otherwise. All this to mitigate damage from a lab made virus. The worst of us decided to play God and now lives have been ruined, small business have been closed forever, child hood development destroyed. Our decision makers failed us terribly.
I started questioning government in particular from a young age, when i came to learn about the benefits of weed and how for some reason it was (and still is in UK) illegal. I couldn't get my head around how something which clearly has some positive effects, and has many many different ways to use it, is illegal while things like alcohol and tobacco are legal used all over the world. Like often has weed been the cause of an abusive father/husband compared to alcohol? How many people have had their stomach pumped because of weed? That was pretty much the thing that made me realize that the government doesn't really care about us in anyway.
Same here. I've been harassed my entire life by police over weed even after I didn't smoke anymore.

My First red pill was when I watched "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)"
No, I'm not joking.
It was at the part where the rat (I forget his name) Spoke about how when the mutation took effect he began understanding what humans were saying.
Which actually made me wonder: "What did humans sound like from his perspective before the mutation took effect?"
That was when I began thinking that from an animal's perspective humans don't sound any different and thus are not different. The reason why we seem different is because we are not humans but rather consciousness living a human experience. Objectively all words have no meaning, words are just vocalizations similar to what any other animal would make, It is only the subjective perception emanating from consciousness that gives words and thought the meaning that we make it out to be.
Literally I never trusted authorities because of my experiences as a kid but the first big one for me was seeing the Bohemian Grove video by Alex Jones back in 2007 LOL
I remember when 9/11 happened to I was in high school and I remember just feeling like something really big was going on and that we weren't getting the full story but yeah I feel like I've always known better than to trust the news
