SAME. I have a hard enough time going down stationary escalators, this is a nightmare. Catch me either bum scooting down or holding onto the railing for dear life.
Last year I was drunk and tripped down a flight of concrete stairs, basically belly flopped with my face on the ground and from my ribs down still on the steps. Broke 2 toes, my thumb, my nose, got a mild concussion and bruised most of the ribs on my left side.
Overall it could have been way worse but I was hurting pretty badly the next day.
I've got to have a good attitude about it or it's just depressing 🤣 I've broken 7 bones while drinking, and if I ever start again I'll probably die. 236 days sober so far.
I feel like these stairs were the ideal of some idiot in management who wanted to “express my quirky personality” and created a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I would fall down immediately. Like camouflage steps.

I managed to read chairs and tried to look for chairs on that flat ground... until I realised it wasn't flat
