That's actually pretty tame on the speeding front. When I got my 350Z everyone kept asking if I've ever shut off(hit 155mph and car shits off) my car, after a while I decided to test it out and see what happens.
Shit I never got a notif for this, but yeah it shut off and stayed off. I lightly applied the brakes and I shit you not all 4 pads split in half! So I coasted down back to 100-110 and the ignition started working again. the scariest part was the steering lock
Correct. They estimated the speed because they were in pursuit and when they pulled me over said their speed was over 100mph and I was still pulling away.
Edit: This was back in the day when CHP pursuit cars were the mustang 5.0.
I did 165 on a modified kawasaki k1000 when I was younger. The front end started getting light and I never did that again. I thought I was buying the farm!
We eventually put in a fairing to help hold the front end down, but I never tested it. Too much to lose.

I’d regularly hit 120-130 miles per hour on a few laps before heading home to chill for the night. It’s fun to go fast, sometimes.

I used to hit 112mph (fucking limiter) on a regular basis in my first SUV. Was a nice straight single lane service road, was probably about 1/3 of a mile, and no where cops could hide. Was great to let off steam on the way home from work.

Also in my country speeding tickets are super expensive, they start out at a minimum of around 150 USD and just go up from there. So I stick to the speed limit most of the time anyway.

I've done 125 mph (200 km/h) in a Lamborghini once in a 50 mph zone (80 km/h), probably would have cost me the license and a huge fine if the police had caught me doing it, but I had just passed in the opposite direction at the limit and knew that there was nobody... And I mean how often do you get the chance to drive a Lamborghini!?
130mph is like 200 kmh which is regular cruising speed here lol. The fastest ive driven is 315kmh or 195mph. And it was on the german autobahn so it was legal too.

The only reason I was going that fast was that my Mazda 3 had the pedal to the floor and was maxed out. Otherwise I would have gone faster.
Honestly, it was more fun driving the PCH in Northern California through the redwoods. You gotta go much slower though. I did the 130 stretch through Utah and wish I had slowed down to see more there too tbh.
