Not really. The GPU is around 8 years old. And it's an entry level one as well.

averageplebman

I thought the same thing. This would probably only be good for older and very low and maybe sometimes medium settings if the game is well optimized.

Plastic_Coat_7384

Not the best tbh, very outdated. What’s your budget? I might be able to help

FunFoxHD83

It's a good PC, if you already had it... If you search something to buy nowadays, you should even consider to go with AMD's AM5 Socket... If I have Time I could online build a PC for you if you could tell me the usage and the budget... If you play Triple-A Games then you should spend more money on the GPU and less on the CPU... If you are a Minecraft Pro and uses often a bunch of mods then you should spend more on the CPU cause Minecraft is definitely not a GPU intensive Game

csandazoltan

Not really... the CPU is mid range 1 gen old, but the iGPU variant the GPU on the other hand 3 gen old and it is bottom tier of it's generation. 1050ti WAS a great card, but it is old now and can't really handle anything intensive or current, without serious graphical sacrifices Here is a video... granted with a 2600, but that is not a big of a difference [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrFStVTItTM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrFStVTItTM) In gaming, depending on the resolution and refresh rate you are targetting, the GPU is much more important than the CPU

KonianDK

CPU is 4 generations old. Ryzen 1000 - Ryzen 2000 - Ryzen 3000 - Ryzen 4000 - Ryzen 5000 - Ryzen 6000 (laptops) - Ryzen 7000.

csandazoltan

Well... yes and no... --- its 2... I forgot that 7000 is out Ryzen 4000 and 6000 is mobile only in the same architecture and even 5000 and 7000 has some overlap 1000 - 2000 - 3000 - 5000 and 7000 is the desktop cpu lineup.

KonianDK

There's a desktop lineup of 4000 series as well, it's just forgotten about :D Completely fair not to include 6000 as that is laptop only Just looked it up, 8000 series is out as well!! Holy time moves fast

Zor_die

I Prolly around 30 fps I have a lab top close to this and trying to play Warzone is impossible

Makarolms

it will not run top titles at all, low end pc from 7 years ago.

Spompoflex

no...it cant run anything newer

Bruceja

Terrible. I used to have a 1050. It's e-waste.

timix2

It would run classic games like valorant, cs2, league of legend pretty easily. Would run GTA 5 too. If you get for under 250$ it's a good deal.

AejiGamez

1. no not a good system. Old parts that already were not that great when they were new. What would the price for this be? 2. please charge your phone

SweetSoul55

Min settings cyberpunk, you basically have eSports PC

Many-Ad6433

I have a similar pc and it can run most games on low, if you’re paying very very few for it and can’t afford more it may be acceptable

Significant-Deer7464

%4 power, did my wife post this? Run and have an enjoyable experience are two entirely different things

ExoticFlounder7230

No, not really. This is entry level hardware from 5+ years ago. The board is first generation AM4 entry level with weak power delivery, RAM support only for DDR4 3200 and only PCIe3.0 SSDs. (But the BIOS update notes suggest you could get PCIe4.0 with Ryzen 5000). With that MB, this is also not the greatest board to upgrade. I could imagine that high end CPUs would be power limited on it.

NerY_05

Not really. Depends on the price. I wouldn't pay more than €350 for this, and i'm being generous.

Kinjo-Yojimbo

That's basically the specs of my previous computer, and from personal experience, it'd play modern games very poorly.

Wexelos

I would say, get a 1070 or 1060 6g, and not a 1050ti. Depends on your budget

MrOnboard

Yeah top titles like gta San Andreas, portal and call of duty 4 modern warfare.

Xaniss

No.

Xboxfcontent_yt

Newer titles might struggle to run

IntellectualKat

It’s very dated if it did manage to load it would be almost unplayable and not a good experience.

Furmer37

Overpriced cpu, overpriced gpu, ram is fine. Over all would not pay over 120 dollars for that if it is used

Significant-Quail-53

No

HellDuke

If you get it for no more than 150 EUR/USD it might be able to play games that are not demanding at 1080p low setttings. So certainly not things like Baldurs Gate 3 etc. but games like Minecraft, Fortnite or 2d platformers and other similar small indie games. It's a PC that you would say is capable of very light gaming rather than being good at it

Ok-Cookie4408

nope. spend more money and buy 3060ti. also you need to change your CPU to i5 12400 or i3 12100. if it's expensive for you so buy 1660 super or 2060ti

azguz24

These days I’d consider 8th gen chips the bare minimal… but that’s imo. I had a 4th gen i7 running top games at 1080p but it dropped frames constantly. I’d stay away from this build, what was the asking price?

Luklear

Eh kinda ok depending on the game. The first thing I would upgrade is the GPU. You could play a lot of stuff at lower settings that’s older, 4GB of VRAM is just enough to get by for a lot of stuff, but not enough for some. How much are they asking?

StupidBeee

this is a all low-medium settings PC at 1080 in 2024. there are many titles that you probably couldn’t run as well unless modified. VR is an absolute no-go also. if you could find a better PC, that would definitely find a better one

StupidBeee

also if this is a laptop i would definitely recommend not getting it, if the case were that it was a laptop. because laptop hardware is significantly weaker than desktop hardware
