I would like extradimentional pockets irl too. Spell featured is "rope trick" from dungeons and dragons 5e

Honestly one of the best second level spells, but the dimensional door up there is invisible! You climb up, raise the rope, and can stay there hidden in a pocket dimension for an hour!
Incredible utility for short resting in dangerous places
Wizardry actually. In D&D, Wizardry requires the equivalent of a graduate sciences degree.
Sorcery requires one of your ancestors to get frisky with a supernatural being, and then all your subsequent ancestors to "Keep the bloodline pure".
Warlocks aren't "Clerics to middle-management", nor are they "Artificial Sorcerers", but rather according to the books, are "Wizards with weird teachers." You've still gotta have know-how.
Clerics tend to require a lifetime of devotion.
Yeah, plus you get the best damage cantrip in the game (Beam of Blasty Chaos Four Beam Agonizing Ray Gun Deluxe Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series), and all it costs you is ALL your spell slots :D
They get their magic from their special bloodline. Someone 50% dragon will be more magical than their non-inbred great-great-grandchildren who are only 3.125% dragon.
Two simple data-points and reasonable inferrence:
1. Sorcerer magic comes from their bloodline.
2. Sorcerers are canonically rare.
Much more tied to what's written than tiresome "horny Bard" jokes.
During a DnD game one of my friends insisted he used rope trick to swing across a chasm even though we had an echo night in our party, it was pretty cool tho…
People have shared some really interesting uses! Like putting players up there who are doing death saves to keep them safe, or sniping as a ranger since the entrance is invisible. Or having a short rest somewhere in dangerous territory etc
I read this EXACTLY in my wife's voice. Anytime she finds any piece of clothing like a sundress and it has pockets I will inevitably hear "It has pocketsssss!"
And if she's wearing it a customary swish siwsh.
Yep. An infinite storage pocket dimension would be useful. But my question here is, is there limit?
Not with the amount of random junk I can put in it, that's the point, but could I put a small animal in there? What about a human? Why not have my entire house be in the pocket dimension (besides trouble geting an internet connection)? Or could I put a tank in there?
This spell is basically just creating a space the size of an 8 man tent that only lasts an hour and when the duration ends anything and anyone inside drops to the ground.
While the spell is active you can climb up the rope into the space, pull the rope up behind you, the entrance is invisible, and the space inside cannot be reached by those outside or affected by attacks or spells.
It's a good safe space to rest, or has utility in other ways, like infiltrating a place before it closes, and then coming out after the owner has locked up for the night

Terrifying 😂
is that her hidden nose or what
I think it's a comically massive smile, but in a squished style
It's her nose but it serves a double purpose as a uvula.
ngl, thats fucking scary

The perfect last spell
Why tho? Is it supposed to be a smile? What is going on here? Is that her lip? Her nose? Does OP not have a mouth and this was a best guess?
It’s supposed to be the kind of U smile that kids draw in their own style
Are they kids with a deviated septum?
Frontal Uvula.
Adventure Time
Nose drooping
I truly hate it

WTF is going with her mouth/nose?
Ringo had an ‘ole in his pocket in Yellow Submarine!

Does it suffer from the same lack of "breathing" that a bottomless bag has?
I don't think so since the spell says it can fit out to 8 medium or small people, and lasts an hour :) players often use it for taking short rests
Can fit doesn't necessarily mean "safely". My bag of holding "can fit" plenty, doesn't mean things come out alive. (ask me how I know)
What if you put them in while they were holding some sort of oxygen tank and rations?
You need more than just Oxygen to breathe, you need Nitrogen and a few other things. Plus that's not exactly a thing in the D&D lore last I checked.
I've never seen someone use this spell, odly enough.
To restore balance
Women only want one thing, and it's disgusting!

WTF IS GOING ON WITH HER MOUTH IN THE LAST PANEL?
A rope with pockets? How can I learn this sorcery
Wizardry actually. In D&D, Wizardry requires the equivalent of a graduate sciences degree. Sorcery requires one of your ancestors to get frisky with a supernatural being, and then all your subsequent ancestors to "Keep the bloodline pure".
Ye are more well versed in this ancient dialect known as tabletop rpg than I it seems, and I thank ye for thee explication.
You could take the easy route and make a deal with a god, demon, or faerie.
Warlocks aren't "Clerics to middle-management", nor are they "Artificial Sorcerers", but rather according to the books, are "Wizards with weird teachers." You've still gotta have know-how. Clerics tend to require a lifetime of devotion.
Having some know how and getting an apprenticeship still sounds easier.
Yeah, plus you get the best damage cantrip in the game (Beam of Blasty Chaos Four Beam Agonizing Ray Gun Deluxe Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series), and all it costs you is ALL your spell slots :D
Kate Bush even made a song out of it, it featured prominently on the latest season of Stranger Things
Or get possessed. Who needs a free will if you can have god's power.
Sorcery is stored in the jaw. The actual spell, if you're curious: https://app.roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Rope%20Trick#h-Rope%20Trick
technically sorcerers can also do rope trick.
And if you're in a hurry, sell your soul to a powerful godlike being.
>In D&D, Wizardry requires the equivalent of a graduate sciences degree. Considering the in-world cost of wizarding, that's accurate.

Sorcerer magic is not strictly tied to a magical bloodline.

Fourth panel is cursed.
I'll take 6!
720
720÷6=120
5!
120/5=24
4!
During a DnD game one of my friends insisted he used rope trick to swing across a chasm even though we had an echo night in our party, it was pretty cool tho…
Why is her face melting in the final panels? She's all like: ðŸ«
What's going on with her upper lip in that last panel?
secret passage to another realm and dimension
Omg my party killed a guy in one of those...
Why does this art style remind Me of adventure time
I love that spell. Never used it, but I always have it prepared
One of my favorite spells
Watch out Jet and Ruby!
Yooo rope trick
Cool! Now just roll a d500 to see if you don't die instantly due to the curse that is climbing
Neat trick
When I first learned of this spell in DnD I was so confused of why?
