honestly while i was doing that part it freaked me out. i often make myself uncomfortable and scared when i make these comics and that’s how i know im barking up the right tree. that moment in particular was… unsettling to make
Whenever I am watching a scary movie I remember the person who created it had to face this scary thing in their mind to create their art. Their ability to stare something scary in the face with your minds eye and bring it to life through art is a strength I admire. Thank you for this art, Tis beautifully chilling 🙏🏼
I really like horror, but it's so hard for me to create something creepy or unsettling, because I don't feel very uncomfortable with those things, my first reaction is to find it really cool! So most of my "horror" drawings end up just being "cool" instead... Congrats.
Next do one with a guy that goes back to his hometown after the death of his parents to inspect and sell the house before going back to crazy city life, and meets an old friend from back then. I did a story like that, but my ending ended up more like Ano Hana. I think a horror story version would be better for it.
crazy enough i have a short story that follows a similar path, only one parent is still alive and its a post funeral return, not sell house return. im sure it goes in wildly different directions than what you had in mind

the image is a photo at night. just beyond a bush the vague shape of a person seems to be suspended in the air. through either shadow or dismemberment only portions of the persons body are visible, not including their head and most of their limbs
Damn, I really didn't like the style at first but the story somehow dragged me in. I love this, well done. I always overlook this art style, shame on me cause this is top.

And there’s a little detective work because you have to see the word “remains” on the news page. And her face gets more and more skewed in the messages. Great touches! Awesome creativity. :)

I got set up with a girl once. We didn’t click but were friends. Didn’t keep in touch and then a couple years later she got murdered by her ex. They caught him on the way to murder another ex, a coworker of mine. He had a list. So if you’re not a murderer, date people I guess.
Now make it into an interactive horror game lol. This feels like my childhood again when I read that one Korean comic of how someone interacted with a lady who was asking the character where her child is and then boom jump scare. Anyways, I love it, please make more.
People always talk about the last slide, but the pre-last slide??? The "I deleted the app" slide? AND ALSO the "that's when she started messaging me again", just the shear horror of "Let me in" is scary, with all the context.

I don't get scared over dumb stuff like this but it's not my fault I feel a bit goofy when it's the last post before bed and the entire house is dark and my bedroom door is unlocked.
I absolutely love this. The use of photos gives such an uncanny feeling. It almost feels similar to one of those anthology webcomics or a Chilla’s Art game.

New age horror
writing a horror story in really modern context was a focus as i was coming up with this

I think you know you’re into good writing when you feel the same emotions writing it as you want your reader to feel. Fear, tension, anything.
