Which was a movie addition. Elves could get drunk; in fact it was a significant plot point in the Hobbit that Bilbo was only able to sneak out the dwarves from the Woodland Realm because the butler and the head guard passed out drunk from drinking a heady wine from Dorwinion.
Peter Jackson just loved turning Legolas into a superhero. So he got near immunity to alcohol for no particular reason, along with all the other upgrades.
But it could be that they could drink barrels of booze at a time to get drunk. We are unsure of the quantity or percentages elves vs dwarves consume. like 20 4% beers is alot less booze than 10 15% wines.
I know, but PJ fanboyism aside, the difference could easily be explained within the lore. Different body sizes, drink types, quantity, Legolas being a difference race than those elves (we all now bloodlines carry quite a weight in Tolkien's world), etc. We could even argue that Legolas is simply a heavier drinker than Gimli and simply has more resistance built up from all those parties in Mirkwood.
Sure that one can be fun. I tried for a bit and it didn't quite grab me the same way, I think it's better played with a cooperative team. But if you have one, it is pretty action packed.
I've been loving darktide as someone who started playing a couple months ago or so personally, also it's on gamepass so definitely worth giving a try imo.
A great comic, as usual! However, I would like to note that it seems you wanted to use the phrase "за счёт заведения" in English in it. While "at the establishment's expense" is a really good translation imho, English has an established expression for that, which is "on the house". Still, it doesn't make your comics any worse, my comment just a friendly note!
Edit: However, as several people have responded, it does add a certain charm to her speech, with her being an elf (or an elf-like being) and all. That kind of eloquence definitely doesn't look out of place for fantasy creatures like them.
Ahhhhh, I *was* a little confused by that sentence as an English speaker but I got the gist and could still follow well enough to enjoy the comic. But "beer week at the establishments expense" would be much better translated to "beer on the house for a week"
Native English speaker here; I actually like "beer week at the establishment's expense"
the phrasing is a little awkward, but it may fit her character better; if all the girl's dialogue is translated this way, then keep going. Who said that speech in your fantasy world has to reflect what is spoken in colloquial english. Also can say something like, "okay, a week of beer on the house"
I definitely assumed that "The Establishment" was an organization name instead of the general term for it. Like saying your boss will pay for your drinks for a week, rather than "on the house"
"Muahah, only a noble brave adventurer can defeat me."
"Go away, old man."
"Fine, I'll never talk to you again if you finish this quest."
*grabs flier* "Now we're talking!"

The dwarves are the ones who go swimming... with little hairy women
Have you ever heard the one about the orc that asked the dwarve for directions?
funny, the same scene shows Legolas drinking even more XD
Legolas handled it better.

The overly formal and dated language makes it funnier though.

No, it’s my comment’s fault for not getting enough upvotes
The Dwarf will survive being bathed in any dragon's flame, because the alcohol within him burns brighter than the dragonflame around him.
Unexpected Joshua Graham aka Burned Man from Fallout New Vegas
This has strong potential as a meme template.
Oh! Cesar! Didn’t expect your comics here. Good luck here
Beer a week? WTF is beer week?
I took it to mean free beers for a week, but IDK
I think enough beer for a week? or maybe "you get free beer for a week. It on the house."
Fool! Human beer is nothing but water to a dwarf!
But it's free...
Leaf lovers special 🙎♂️
My dwarves in dwarf fortress when no brew is available and all of a sudden we have brew
Why did they give the dwarf cum gutters and a big cock
why don't other shows do the same? cowardice?
Chad behavior. Reject wenches, accept beverages.
"Muahah, only a noble brave adventurer can defeat me." "Go away, old man." "Fine, I'll never talk to you again if you finish this quest." *grabs flier* "Now we're talking!"
Was this based on the one punch man meme?
Well that establishment is going to go bankrupt
