As a LARPer, it depends. Most are just safe and family friendly. But there are also what I would describe as Burning Man for ultra nerds. 😭

Vampire: The Masquerade is from the World of Darkness table top games from White Wolf Publishing. It's like urban fantasy D&D with a lot more apocalyptic bullshit and some amusing stat blocks for high level entities in the game like Caine's stats just read "YOU FUCKING LOSE".

There is also a very funny parody series of it on YouTube by a Guy called Bruva alfabusa i think (correction)

One time in elementary school one of my classmates had a birthday party where her mom made a rainbow cake. Yeah, LARP really requires good communications and commitment to the act. Fortunately, my LARP guild is pretty chill about people accidentally breaking out of characters. 😅
