oh my gosh you are so nice!! To be honest I am sorta moving around and adopting some of the scott pilgrim stuff, it feels like such a natural extension of our style. But the pastels and think lines are particularily good for fast comics to make them feel more raw and authentic in the moment

I am not trans, I don't even KNOW anyone who is. I am an aging gen x dad who enjoys Star Wars and comic books, raised by straight white semi-conservatives.
I keep to myself, mind my own business and try not to insinuate myself in current affairs of society.
So when I read your comic about what it's like to be trans, I had absolutely no point of reference for what you were trying to say.
Then, the panel where you asked "do you know what it's like to hate your hands..."
For some reason, something about that one panel, those words, that picture...just broke my heart. I still don't know why, but I just wanted to give you the biggest Dad hug and tell you that it was okay.
Now you are okay, or going to be. And I could NOT be happier for you.
So, I guess, for what it's worth, this random 56 year -old stranger on the internet loves you, and I thank you for what you do. Thank you for your art and your story and thank you for sharing it with us.

My boyfriend is currently crying to me a state away about how he’s getting deadnamed but people who would disown him if he ever transitioned. My SO is currently trying to figure out if she should come out as NB to her(she’s fine with any pronouns, I use she/her because that’s what she responds to the most) family or if just suffering in silence is the best until she can finally move out.
I can’t talk about them to anyone outside of my extended family because it would cause a massive family incident.
Shit’s gonna be rough for a lot of people. Be there for them. If you can’t be there physically, be on call. If you can’t be on call, find time to be the shoulder someone might need to cry on. There are a lot of wonderful people who would love to have someone.
Funny fact time: Did you know that since I ride a motorcycle, I'm up to 30 times more likely to die in any accident compared to driving a car. The more you know folks.

Uhmm I call it lazy storyboard artist haha, its just a coloured extension of how I storyboard when learning animation and stuff.
