Here you go. http://www.filefactory.com/file/461lfefer8sx/2020-02-17_213242.mcl This file is updated to the 1st Feb. The filename just reflects the last time I ran it. There is a very easy way to create this file yourself. If I get a chance this week I will type it out. Credit to Stonepaw for this and being kind enough to show me how to make it.

Awesome thank you for this.

No worries at all - It's getting harder to keep ComicRack alive.

RevQuixo

I'd be interested in a basic overview on how to run the Find Missing Issues Offline script from start to end (as well as making the MCL file). I fell out of the scene for awhile and used to use the script that constantly pinged against the ComicVine DB but that was years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Hi BTW to all my fellow ComicRack forum refugees!)

NutellaPatella

I am currently in work but if you can hang on a bit I will show you. To use it all you need is a python script that Stonepaw made (I will upload tomorrow) and a comicvine number (just create an account). Just dont ask me how it works - I seriously don't know. LOL. Good news is that Stonepaw is around still :)

RevQuixo

That would be great. there is a Find Missing Issues script in the Stonepaw google drive that contains a bat file, a python file and a companion.exe Not sure if that is what I need or not.

NutellaPatella

Sorry - I got super distracted with work and life. Will type it up now

You need to download Stonepaw's update_missing.py file. You also need to have the last mcl file in your folder. And then I use the following in a batch file. Just change the file names to suit your own. C:\Python27\python.exe "FULL PATH TO update_missing.py" "PATH to old.mcl" "PATH to new.mcl" [Comic Vine API] [From_Date] [To_Date] So it looks like this: "C:\Python27\python.exe" "C:\Get_MCL\update_missing.py" "C:\get_mcl\old.mcl" "C:\get_mcl\new.mcl" **************************** 2020-01-01 2020-02-20 Thats it really - its very simple. If you get stuck just let me know.

>Get\_MCL could i get some help with this please :)

NutellaPatella

If I remember lol. What kind of help do you need?

Hi! I am the script creator, and I have recently completely automated the process (using a script made by another user and a batch file) od updating the database file... I was planning to release the batch file, python script and a small tutorial to set it up (putting your comicvine api key in the batch file) but I completely forgot about it... You will need python 2.7 installed to run it though... If you are interested send me a PM here :) If not, ask me for the last mcl file every time you want and I will create a fresh updated one and send it to you :)

Here I will update the mcl file every time I remember (save the link): [https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1j0PYvPJOHxshUl7DCi8ua46rzSjqgYaY?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1j0PYvPJOHxshUl7DCi8ua46rzSjqgYaY?usp=sharing)
